Graduation speaker blasts students.

HAVERFORD, Pa. — A commencement speaker on Sunday blasted Pennsylvania college students as “immature” and “arrogant” for protesting another speaker who then decided to withdraw.

William Bowen, former president of Princeton University, used his commencement speech at Haverford College outside Philadelphia to criticize students who campaigned against Robert Birgeneau, former chancellor of the University of California, Berkeley.

Birgeneau is among several commencement speakers who canceled their appearances this spring amid student protest.

More than 40 students and three professors had protested Birgeneau’s invitation to speak, objecting to his handling of a 2011 incident at Berkeley in which police used force at a student protest. The group wanted Birgeneau to apologize, support payments for victims, and write a letter to Haverford students explaining his position on the events and “what you learned from them.”

Birgeneau, who was also supposed to receive an honorary degree from Haverford, refused those demands and others in a terse email.

“I am disappointed that those who wanted to criticize Birgeneau’s handling of events at Berkeley chose to send him such an intemperate list of `demands,’” Bowen said Sunday.

“In my view, they should have encouraged him to come and engage in a genuine discussion, not to come, tail between his legs, to respond to an indictment that a self-chosen jury had reached without hearing counter-arguments.”

Bowen also said Birgeneau had “responded intemperately, failing to make proper allowance for the immature, and, yes, arrogant inclinations of some protesters. Aggravated as he had every right to be, I think he should be with us today.”

He called Birgeneau’s withdrawal a defeat for the university.

His remarks drew a standing ovation.]]

When the schools allow such behavior... it's a smear on them. But a school hires super left leaning Professors... giving them tenure to boot... what can a school expect. I blame the schools for this and not the impressionable kids....Cause after 4 years of hearing different professors swaying those kids minds into their way of thinking, it's bound to doom disaster... thus the no tolerance for any speaker not to their liking..... it's really a sad situation...

You can't say they came from families which are without a father and Mom... Most all Mexicans have close knit families.... I see this in the ones who live here... they are at their parents houses each and every Sunday... and they seem to mix with only family relatives during the week.

So it's not lack of family love they steal, rape, do drugs, and sell drugs... I can't even say it's poverty that makes them sell drugs... yet quite a few of them do... They have safe houses where the runners for the cartels pkg and send their l**t to these safe houses in Mexico or near the border till they can get them across... They bring them in huge bundles strapped to their backs, they have a truck that will come during the night load it up on the American side and hope they can get past the guards when leaving farther into the USA...

Millions and Millions have past through those porous borders.... I wouldn't be a border guard for anything in the world.... just watching them at night trying to find the runners carrying their loads... with snakes, scorpions all over the place... it's a very hard and tiring job... just hope it pays good... but what the US needs but wont.. for fear of Hacking Mexico.. is put all those men who got out of the Military, to sign up for guards down there... they are trained in such as that... the only problem they'd have is Spanish...

This is where evil got it's name by the pic Im posting. Gradually ... then rapidly, nudity became the focus of sin... and every one is doing it. People now.. have no modesty, all they think of is having the sexiest body - men and women... then they wonder why there are so many rapes all over the world... especially here.

The i******s who are penniless, but have something the evils of men want... a warm body while being paid to bring them across... but decide to have a little unwanted sex while crossing. Women are used more like punching bags when it comes to men's cravings...

There is no 'desire' as strong as a sexual one - you can easily see this when men look up and down a woman who just passed by. These desires are even in the animal world where they will k**l to have a harem of their own. Even man does the same thing who manages to have many wives so he can have a different one each night. Oh.. stupidity of women!!

For all who are defenders of Gays and Lesbians... if all the gays lived in one section of the world.. and all the lesbians in another... how soon do you think the world would come to an end.

Well.. I can tell you now... as soon as each lesbian dies off, and each homosexual does the same... then only about 2 of each remain... that will be the end of the world.. Cause neither can reproduce by themselves. The Good Lord didnt' make us that way. All should become gays or lesbians... then watch the end of mankind. That should tell you God did not have these two in mind when he created man and woman.

So stay with your partners till each of you die... perhaps there will become some other race of something to take your place - possibly a couple of walnuts!!! ... Even the ANIMALS know they have to have a female and a male to reproduce... Animals have sense enough to not breed with a brother's family of lions, et al cause of inner-breeding. Do you see any little hommos and lezzies running around in the animal world or any of the other species of the world breeding with their same sex... Hardly. So stop saying this is the way things should be, cause it isn't.

Man alive... what in the world have you been drinking... cause it certainly wasn't tea... I don't know what Bible you got your information from.. but it certainly wasn't the King James Version....

This is what I see happening to our country...People are afraid to meet a black man in an dark alley... well.. let's change that to ---- some would h**e to meet up with a Muslim man in a dark alley. They even k**l their children if they become too Americanized... That outta tell you a 'life' means nothing to them. Yet they wanna live here.. WHY??

They are full of h**e ... Obama is their 'Golden Parachute' for these Muslims who he more or less invited to come here... so we have him to thank for what is happening now and later on cause it is going to get worse. But what will he care... he will be living hundreds of miles away.... across the ocean...

Up and until any school stops separating kids for one reason or the other.... this is something that will follow them through out life and into the work places. If separated, school classes will have nothing in them but gays, another for lesbians, and another a 'combination' of both... then you will have a school for straights.... one for girls and one for boys. When you start separating people for one reason or the other... it will make each less tolerate of the other.

If you will notice... in the Military, there are gays, lesbians and straights.... there are straight men, straight women who MUST get along with the others. It was best when the Military had the 'dont ask dont tell policy.' Now every one knows who is what which creates an atmosphere of not wanting to sleep in the same room as some gay or take a shower with some lesbian....thus making them sorta like an outcast to the rest of the soldiers.

Kids dont need to advertize they are gay or a lesbian or what ever else they are, since it sets them apart from the rest. I dont feel the 'separate but equal' in the class rooms is gonna help one thing but discontent among those who are schooled there. If the parents dont want to allow their kids to be with a bunch of kids who they deem misfits/unfit - they should have the option of home schooling or the govt giving them waivers to go elsewhere.

Then of course, home schooling has another advantage too... If there are 'undesirables' in some of the schools who are the disruptive types or dope peddlers or users, it's best to do one of the above options. Every one can't get always along ---- like a bunch of people think they can. As I understand it... Obama was against vouchers -/- possibly home schooling... Why?? Look at the education his own kids have... with armed guards surrounding the classes they attend... getting special privileges that other kids do not get.... then he has the audacity to say he's against home schooling and or waivers....???

Regardless of which g****r they choose... I feel sorry for them. I know it must be a burden for some as well as the parents. No one can help how they were born... just as some are born with their toes joined together... We all have things about us that we cannot control.... but it's sad when some people are different than the rest... then some make fun of them cause of it. I know it must be painful for the ones who are born that way.

But I do not know the feelings of a gay person or what they go through in order to want to become the g****r they choose when the parents have always thought of them as another g****r.

This dear friend of mine has a son who is gay... and he told her he has been that way since he was 11 years old. He is grown now... but she has other kids too.. and when he comes for a visit with his partner... she wont allow him to spend the night and sleep with his buddy cause of her other children there too..

Obama is not concerned with us peons, he's only concerned with the Dems winning in the next e******n. As far as those i******s he's letting out of prison.... he is doing that for spite... and for no other reason. He doesn't care how many cars they have stolen, how many houses they have burglarized, or how many rapes they've committed as long as it wasn't done to his girls... or how many murders they have committed....

He has yet to close Guantanamo ... and the only reason he's doing that is cause those Muslims being held there are his buddies so to speak.... Obama is a Closet Muslim and a Closet Homosexual.. well.. he's beginning to show both of these now that he's on his last term... and doesn't give a rip.

While that may be true for some, but in todays' time, and the boys who wanna be girls and dress so, and the girls who are having their 'coming out' party wanna be boys, thus wanting to be able to go to their particular bathrooms, how do you think that will come about when some of the boys were known as girls suddenly are seen in a guy's bathroom and visa versa....

This is where the problems will occur. The guys will not want some 'so called girls' in the bathroom with them... or on the same team. Since these people who are not one g****r but raised as another have their 'coming out' party... I assure you, this separate boys and girls things will not work.

So you are left with 4 bathrooms to build... one for guys, one for girls, one for girls who wanna be guys, and fourth, for guys who wanna be girls...

I still feel, this is a chosen field for these people or there would have been in the schools I attended when we only had boys and only girls - none of this t*********r stuff did I see or know about.. In fact.. I never knew what the word GAY or LESBIAN was till I was in my 20's...
