I recently was in the U.S. for 3 weeks for the first time in over 6 years. The
"group think" acceptance, and apathy towards it that I encountered was absolutely
shocking and indicative of the demise of a once great country.

Yes we've been back since March after our 3 months in Turkey. But we will go back there for Dec, Jan, Feb.
And yes the missiles are still flying nightly with a few pretty damaging hits almost every night. Most are shot down over the Black Sea but a few usually make it through.

Thanks, we are doing fine despite the nightly air raids still continuing. Must tell you that for the first time
in 6 years we reluctantly had to make a trip to the states. I knew it would be bad but from my observations it wasn't as good as "bad". I just can't understand how the average person is able to cope with the unbelievable cost of everything there. It was truly shocking. I was truly glad to get on the plane out of there.

Thanks wonttakeit, We are doing great. Left the war zone a month ago. It really got old.
Now in a beautiful area 1200 miles south of Odessa until the 90 day visa runs out'
(too much red tape to extend it) then we will drive to yet another country for a while.
I think we will be playing "musical countries" for a while but that's not a bad thing because
we enjoy traveling and seeing new places. With 45 countries to choose from that we can drive to,
we're good to go for a while.
