PRECISELY! Give the rubes something to be angry about, get them riled up then unleash them on the polling booths.... That or the average American... Polling booth, innocent American citizens... Either way, something is being done and rubes are being won over. They are so easy to win over if you throw them the right kind of persuasion, the right kind of "red meat". They tend to be more animal than human, that is why fear works so well in motivating them. They don't even bother stopping to think. Think about why they are doing what they are doing, how were they motivated into doing it, why someone would use that motivation to motivate them, was what they were being motivated to do righteous? Warranted? Justified? Or even, in line with Jesus' teachings? RW talking heads essentially saying "Sic 'em boy" and off they run.

Trump may not have initiated the psychosis, but he sure as hell perpetuated it. Let's just hope that the Republican v**ers decide to STOP v****g in "Trumpian" politicians and that the RWers start seeing RW media for what it is and dissuade them from continuing their practice of division.

Not without getting the cult members to recognize the fact that RW media IS lying to them. One would think THAT would be quite obvious by the fact that much of what RW media says does not even make sense nor its it even consistent. They will tell it one way when it serves their purposes but tell it another way when it doesn't serve their purposes. Example, at one point protestation is bad, criminal, even downright un-American, other times it is the right thing to do, the only legitimate way to air your grievances and even downright un-American to disagree with their right to protest. How about "cancel culture", if RWers do it, RW media supports it 100% and decries that it is NOT "cancel culture", if LWers do it or anything the media can twist into something "cancel culture" adjacent, it is bad, it is un-American, it is harmful and it is ABSOLUTELY "cancel culture" and ABSOLUTELY D********G.

How can they NOT see RW media is LYING to them, making up things for them to fear, such as CRT being taught in K-12, which it absolutely ISN'T being taught K-12, ONLY to law students and typically only at advanced levels in the law schools. What about the great freak out over M&Ms changing their anthropomorphized cartoon mascots. how is that a big deal, yet RW media went ballistic over it. HOW can they not see things for what they truly are? They don't WANT to. It is as simple as that.

The only ones trying to make America a dictatorship are the Trumplicans with Trump being their preferred dictator. If you were honest with yourself, you would see this. Tell me, what steps have any others taken to RESTRICT v****g? ONLY the so called conservatives seem hell bent to RESTRICT the v**e. That SHOULD tell you a little something about your chosen party and their intentions, but it won't. The Democrats are no angels either. They have their obvious flaws as well, but at least they don't want to disenfranchise v**ers by knocking the legal v**ers off the v****g rolls and make it harder for them to get back on or to v**e. Republicans are trying to limit the v****g drop boxes, especially in urban areas and predominantly minority neighborhoods, limit the number of days the polls are open and severely cut back on the hours they are open, cut back on the overall number of polling areas, refusing to make e******n day a holiday, severely limit how many and who can v**e by mail. With the exception of making e******n day a holiday, all the other points in that last statement are specifically designed to not only make it harder to v**e but ALSO create longer lines at the polling places, another key way to discourage v**ers, long lines. Then to top THAT off, in some states, NOBODY is allowed to offer food or water to those waiting in line to v**e, regardless of party affiliation or even those without any party affiliation.

So, long lines, illegal to give aid or comfort to those suffering those long lines even if in a non-partisan way. Yeah, that shouldn't be considered trying to restrict the v****g in any way...

So, tell me again which party SEEMS more autocratic to you... Lower v**er turnout tends to favor Republicans, that is well known, especially to the powers that be within the Republican party.

I shall even post this below for you to consider, it is from Wikipedia but worth reading and considering.

Ease of v****g
Ease of v****g is a factor in rates of turnout. In the United States and most Latin American nations, v**ers must go through separate v***r r**********n procedures before they are allowed to v**e. This two-step process quite clearly decreases turnout. US states with no, or easier, registration requirements have larger turnouts.[100] Other methods of improving turnout include making v****g easier through more available absentee polling and improved access to polls, such as increasing the number of possible v****g locations, lowering the average time v**ers have to spend waiting in line, or requiring companies to give workers some time off on v****g day.[which?] In some areas, generally those where some polling centres are relatively inaccessible, such as India, e******ns often take several days. Some countries have considered Internet v****g as a possible solution. In other countries, like France, v****g is held on the weekend, when most v**ers are away from work. Therefore, the need for time off from work as a factor in v**er turnout is greatly reduced.

Many countries have looked into Internet v****g as a possible solution for low v**er turnout. Some countries like France and Switzerland use Internet v****g. However, it has only been used sparingly by a few states in the US. This is due largely to security concerns. For example, the US Department of Defense looked into making Internet v****g secure, but cancelled the effort.[101] The idea would be that v**er turnout would increase because people could cast their v**e from the comfort of their own homes, although the few experiments with Internet v****g have produced mixed results.[102]

A 2017 study found that the opening and closing hours of polling places determines the age demographics of turnout: turnout among younger v**ers is higher the longer polling places are open and turnout among older v**ers decreases the later polling places open.[103] A 2021 study that used an experiment in Philadelphia found that postcards by e******n officials encouraging registrants to v**e by mail boosted turnout in the 2020 primary e******ns by 0.4 percentage points.[104]

The Democrats have been pushing for easier access to the v****g booth, Republicans have been pushing for more "hoops to jump through", which party does it seem that WANTS more Americans to v**e? Which party seems to WANT LESS Americans to v**e? Which party SEEMS more autocratic, the one that wants MORE Americans to v**e or LESS Americans to v**e? Use logic, not fallacies and propaganda.

Understandable why you have trouble with those equations. Common Core math doesn't teach probability and simple multiplication.

Yes, quite understandable how YOU wouldn't understand how illegible those equations are, since they don't show that they rely upon "powers" and do not even note where the whole numbers stop and the "powers" begin. IF someone wishes to show how their equations "prove a point", it should behoove them to make their equations easily LEGIBLE. Of course I couldn't expect YOU to understand that, naturally. You DO know that there IS a way to show "powers" even with such limited KBs as the standard 105 key KB, right? Such as "bⁿ" where "b" is the base whole # and "ⁿ" is the exponent, index or power. It really IS just about basic comprehension, something you appear to lack.

How authoritarian of you? You would deprive a fellow American their right to v**e solely because you disagree with their thoughts, their words? Perhaps you might prefer to live under a dictatorship... Nobody is stopping you from moving to another country that already HAS a dictator. One's feelings are by definition one's own personal OPINION. That said, the OP based his OPINION on sound FACTS. Perhaps you could try doing the same. The very first piece Grandpa Rick posted about, the Forbes article related to Trump buying jewelry at Bulgari's. That article described how Trump bought the jewelry, had them ship the empty jewelry box to an address Trump supplied to them, in order to avoid paying sales tax as he carried the jewelry out of the store with him. That was sales tax evasion and it was reported on in a conservative publication BEFORE he was elected president. Did he do that to save money so he could afford to feed his kids? No, he did it because of greed, the same reason he does so many other crimes, greed!

Many of the RW OPPers and Some of the LW OPPers aim their animosity towards the posters here on OPP. The people who DON'T have the power to bring about positive change for the average American, unlike the elected politicians that DO.

Fairly sure I have seen elsewhere where you support Trump and don't like Biden. Trump focused nearly 100% on corporations and the top 1%, did very little to try to help middle class Americans, Biden while having ACCOMPLISHED very little for middle class Americans, he at least TRIED to help them a lot more, he just didn't try hard enough.
