How do you know what he was thinking? He called the police, if his 'intent' was benign, why did he decide to go around his counter to hit an old man? If he had no intent to hurt or k**l the man, then he could have waited for the police and have them deal with the "h**e crime" as someone said, and have the old man arrested? No, the manager decided that he wanted, by his actions, to punch the man in the face, all over bad customer service and one offensive word. The manager should be doing time for manslaughter.

Could you TRY to follow a thread? My comment was in reply to Ricktloml and it was a wish that being brutalized by an out-of-control thug never happens to someone they love. This, abuse of elderly WHITE people, is played out daily. Attacks on streets, shoving them in front of trains, attack in homes, pistol whippings, attacks after attack and the perp gets off practically Scots Free. The murderer in this case actually came from behind the counter to strike an old man. Connoting pre-thought to harm or k**l an elderly man.

It was not a 'kid' who punched the elderly man. Consider this, in the US between 500 and 1000 people die yearly from punch(es) to the head. So, he was murdered because a 27 YO man could not control himself.
Regarding your story about the woman. She may have had her reasons for her dislikes, and in the end, who cares? This is a discussion of using lethal force on an old man.
