I abhor the actions of Soros in our country, but your statement about him is not true.
Soros was a toddler when Hitler was appointed chancellor and just 7 years old when Germany annexed Austria. When the N**i regime began occupying Hungary in 1944, he was 13.
As anti-Semitism grew, George’s father Tivadar changed the Jewish family’s surname to Soros. Tivadar secured false Christian identity papers for his family. As Tivadar notes in his autobiography Masquerade, during the occupation of Hungary George was tasked by the Jewish Council, as all Jewish kids were, to deliver summons for Jewish families “to report tomorrow morning at 9 o’clock at the Rabbinical Seminary in Rokk Szildrd Street. Please bring with you a blanket, and food for two days.”
According to his father, George told the recipients not to oblige with the demand. Once Tivadar found out about the summons, he ordered his son to no longer deliver them.
George’s account varies a bit from Tivadar's retelling. In a 1994 interview with Michael Lewis for the New Republic, Soros recalled that his father told him to warn people to disobey the summons lest they be deported:
The Jewish Council asked the little kids to hand out the deportation notices. I was told to go to the Jewish Council. And there I was given these small slips of paper. It was three or four lines. It said report to the rabbi seminary at 9 a.m. tomorrow morning. Bring a blanket and food for twenty-four hours. And I was given a list of names. I took this piece of paper to my father. He instantly recognized it, you see. This was a list of Hungarian Jewish lawyers. He said, “You deliver the slips of paper and tell the people that if they report they will be deported.” I'm not sure to what extent he knew they were going to be gassed. I did what my father said. There was one man I shall not forget. I took it to him and told him what my father had said. He said: “Tell your father that I am a law-abiding citizen, that I have always been a law-abiding citizen and I am not going to start breaking the law now.” And that stayed with me forever.

During the later part of this tumultuous time, George went for a few weeks to live with a government official whose duty it was to take inventory of Hungarian Jews who had been divested of their estates. The official was not only helping to protect Soros but also his own Jewish wife.
Soros’s biographer and his father’s account both confirm that George went along for one of these inventory trips in Budapest, assuming the role as “godson” to the official. While Tivadar claims in his autobiography that George “even helped with the inventory” the biography of Soros by Michael Kaufman suggests that Soros did not assist with the inventory. All of this occurred while George Soros, a Jew, was hiding under a false identity as a young teenager in N**i-occupied Hungary. As other fact checkers have noted, this is the only account of anything relating to George Soros and the inventory of dispossessed Jews.
Many who peddle the “George Soros was a N**i” conspiracy rely on a 60 Minutes interview with Soros from 1998. During the interview, Soros was asked if he “helped in the confiscation of the property from the Jews” to which he responded “yes, that’s right.” Later on in that same line of questioning, Soros says that he “was only a spectator” and “had no role in taking away that property.”
Claims that Soros was a N**i sympathizer or that he helped “round up Jewish people” and stole “their wealth” are quite inaccurate. Perhaps for Barr, it was just the Zolpidem talking.

Tens of thousands of users are sharing a series of claims that link Dr. Anthony F***i, Bill Gates, George Soros and Jeffrey Epstein to M*****a, one of the leading contenders in the race to develop a c****av***s v*****e. The allegations presented in social media posts are unfounded.

The main false claims presented in these posts are that Dr. Anthony F***i was the first CEO of M*****a; that Bill Gates and Dr. F***i were college roomates; that George Soros was the founder of M*****a and that Jeffrey Epstein was the main investor of M*****a until his death.

Dr. Anthony F***i obtained a medical degree from Cornell University’s Medical College in 1966, where he graduated first of his class ( here ). He started working at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in 1968, as a clinical associate at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) ( www.oar.nih.gov/about/f***i ).

Bill Gates was not a student at Cornell University. He enrolled at Harvard University in 1973, seven years after Dr. F***i graduated from Cornell, and dropped out to co-found Microsoft Corp ( www.gatesnotes.com/Bio ).
There is also a fifteen years age difference between Gates, born in 1955, and F***i, born in 1940 ( here ).

George Soros did not run IG Farben nor did he disband it. When the conglomerate was dismantled, Soros was a teenager. Born in Hungary in 1930, Soros and his Jewish family lived in Budapest during the N**i occupation. In 1947, he left to study at the London School of Economics ( here ).

Palestinian firebombing attacks have risen in the past year.

In Judea and Samaria, there has been an explosion of attacks by Palestinians throwing Molotov cocktails at vehicles driven by Israeli civilians.

There were 75 Molotov cocktail attacks on Israeli civilians in 2020 and 1,022 in 2021. It’s a constant danger for Israelis driving in Judea and Samaria who could, were an attack successful, be burned alive.

A report on the death of a Palestinian boy who was hurling a Molotov cocktail, and the predictable UN expression of disapproval of Israel, is here: “UN upset by IDF k*****g of Palestinian teenage Molotov cocktail thrower,” by Tovah Lazaroff and Khaled Abu Toameh, Jerusalem Post, February 23, 2022:

“A top United Nations official called for Israeli restraint after the IDF said it fatally shot a 14-year-old Palestinian while he was in the midst of throwing Molotov cocktails at civilian vehicles in the Gush Etzion region of the West Bank.”

Much will be made of the fact that the Palestinian attacker was 14 years old. But so what? At fourteen, he might well have appeared, from a distance, to be years older. And the Molotov cocktail he was in the midst of throwing was just as deadly, whether thrown by a 14-year-old or an 18-year-old.

What should the Israelis have done? Because they had not ascertained his age, should they have held their fire, and let him throw his Molotov cocktail at a passing Israeli car?
Encouraging Children to Attack Israelis

“Gravely concerned by yesterday’s k*****g of 14-yr old boy by ISF [Israeli Security Forces] in Bethlehem,” UN Special Coordinator for the Middle East Conflict Tor Wennesland tweeted on Wednesday [Feb.23].

“Children must not [be] the target of violence or put in harm’s way. ISF must exercise [maximum] restraint [and] may use lethal force only when strictly unavoidable to protect life,” he stated.

The UN Special Coordinator for the Middle East Conflict Tor Wennesland has things wrong. The Israelis were not “targeting” children; they were responding to a sudden threat coming from a figure in the distance who was in the midst of throwing a Molotov cocktail to burn Israelis alive.

Only after they had shot him, and were attempting to save his life, did they have any idea of his age. Wasn’t that lethal force “unavoidable” in order “to protect human life”? How many would have been burned alive had that Molotov cocktail hit its intended target?

It is the Palestinians, both in Judea and Samaria and Gaza, who put “children in harm’s way” by encouraging them to attack Israeli civilians and soldiers. They know the propaganda value of having those “children” wounded or k**led by Israeli security forces.

Hamas, in particular, routinely places children in harm’s way by, for example, putting them in the front of those r****rs who took part in the Great March of Return, trying to breach Israel’s security fence.
Dishonest Habits

The IDF said that its forces on Tuesday night were near the village of al-Khader and identified three suspects in an area “where Molotov cocktails had been thrown recently at Israeli vehicles, endangering passengers on the road.”

Soldiers “fired at one of the suspects while he threw a Molotov cocktail” and hit the suspect, the IDF said.
It added that its soldiers provided the suspect “with primary medical care on the spot” but were not able to save his life.

According to the Palestine News Agency Wafa, the teen was identified as Mohammad Shehadeh.
Palestinian activist Ahmad Salah said that Shehadeh was shot near an army security barrier. “The soldiers didn’t give him any emergency aid. They left him bleeding on the ground. Then they brought an ambulance to take him,” Salah said.

The Israelis say they provided “primary medical care on the spot.” I believe them, and not “Palestinian activist Ahmad Salah.” The Israelis have a habit of telling the t***h, the Palestinians have a habit of lying.

According to the IDF, there were 4,002 stoning incidents in 2020 and 5,532 in 2021. Similarly, IDF data shows that there were 75 Molotov cocktail attacks in 2020 and 1,022 in 2021.…

Molotov cocktail attacks on Israelis in Judea and Samaria have increased fifteen-fold in just one year. No wonder the Israelis are determined to stamp them out.

The PA propaganda machine is already in full swing. The resolutions at the UN, denouncing Israel for its latest “atrocity,” cannot be far behind. But in Judea and Samaria, Palestinians of all ages will now think twice before going out to hurl their Molotov cocktails.

During President Joe Biden’s State of the Union address on Tuesday, the president promised to lower prescription drug costs.

He brought up the high price of insulin, using Joshua Davis, a 13-year-old from Virginia with Type 1 diabetes, as an example.

Davis sat in the upper balcony of the House chamber during the address, and the cameras focused on him as Biden made his point.

The president blamed pharmaceutical companies for making insulin so expensive for people like Davis.
“He and his dad both have Type 1 diabetes, which means they need insulin every day. Insulin costs about $10 a vial to make,” Biden said.

“But drug companies charge families like Joshua and his dad up to 30 times more. I spoke with Joshua’s mom. Imagine what it’s like to look at your child who needs insulin and have no idea how you’re going to pay for it.”
Biden then advocated for the price of insulin to be capped at $35 per month, “so everyone can afford it.”

Some were revolted that Biden would use a child suffering from diabetes as a prop to promote his policies.

“I find the use of people as props to be very… unsettling, somehow. Double when it’s children,” Damir Marusic, a senior fellow at the Atlantic Council, wrote on his blog.

Some also argued that it was actually the Biden administration that caused the rise in insulin prices.

In the U.S., about 34 million people are living with diabetes, and for those with Type 1, having insulin is “the difference between life and death,” Newsweek reported.

On his way out of office, former President Donald Trump finalized a rule that directed the Department of Health and Human Services to “establish practices to provide access to insulin and injectable epinephrine to low-income health center patients at the price the health center purchased these two drugs through the 340B Program.”

The 340B Drug Pricing Program “requires pharmaceutical manufacturers participating in Medicaid to sell outpatient drugs at discounted prices to health care organizations that care for many uninsured and low-income patients,” according to the American Hospital Association.

The Biden administration rescinded Trump’s rule in October due to “excessive administrative costs and burdens.”
