So much of what you say I absolutely agree with - one thing, the women can't form groups to work together alone - they also need the men. It works both ways, they need each other.
It takes cooperation by all. The first pilgrims to come here did not fair well, it was later when they learned to work together and work with friendly Indians that more of them survived much better.
BearK, there are so many youth today, not having been raised in a loving household, but a daycare center through high school, so hammered down into compliance and submission, that they have no sense of self worth or self confidence to run their own lives. Every decision is to be handed over to the "experts" in this nanny-state government.
Let me give you an example of HHS pandering to the hypochondriacs of hammered down masses by pandering to imaginary invalids via advertisements on the radio:
* (child speaking) When I have an asthma attack, I feel like a fish out of water... go to the EPA.gov and HHS.gov to learn how to clean your house.
* 25% of Americans suffer kidney disease and don't know it... go to hhs.gov for the test
* You don't have to be a perfect parent to adopt a kid, teens will take you just as you are. There are 3 million kids in foster care... just go to adoptuskids.gov brought to you by hhs.gov and the ad council.
* Do you have arthritis? Call this number for a free knee brace... go to hhs.gov
* Are you a man who did not get the test? Call your insurance company or go to hhs.gov
*If your child does not smile after his first six months, he might have autism, go to "autism speaks" for more information.
* Did you know that the second greatest cause of cancer is ***RAAAAAYDON***? It could be lurking under your house. Just go to hhs.gov to have your basement tested.
Ahhhhh! RAYDON is lurking under the house. Run, run! Save yourself first. Ahhhhhhh...
Just how much of the taxpayers money, borrowed from the private banks, adding to our national debt, is being peed down a rathole to finance these government nanny-state advertisements?
Had this money remained in our banks, it would have been loaned out to small business as start-up capital to create new industry, more jobs, houses and income for the poor.
LET US GET OUR PRIORITIES STRAIGHT !!!
We have 92 million people, either unemployed or under-employed, who have completely fallen off the radar and are not even counted in the economic statistics; people who need food, shelter and clothing to prevent illness and destitution.
These damnable Democrats just don't get it. The poor and homeless do not need pills and birth control, they need JOBS. JOBS. JOBS, start up capital, and industry which puts food on the table and a roof over their heads.
