WHO decides
May 11, 2023

The World Health Organization (WHO) has joined Joe Biden in declaring an end to the C***D ** p******c. WHO has closed a chapter in one of the worst managed p******cs in world history where mandated treatments arguably resulted in more deaths than C***D would have caused without them. Effective treatments were forbidden. Doctors were censored and lost their jobs, Big pharma made billions with unproven, unsafe and ineffective v*****es. Government and business advanced propaganda vilifying anyone who refused the v*****es, and today refuse to admit that v*****e side effects are greater than any and all v*****es combined. WHO made this mess that will last generations.

The fifteenth meeting of the International Health Regulations (2005) (IHR) Emergency Committee regarding the c****av***s 2019 disease (C****-**) p******c, was held on Thursday 4 May 2023. It was at that meeting that WHO Director-General, Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus concurred “with the advice offered by the Committee regarding the ongoing C****-** p******c. He determines that C****-** is now an established and ongoing health issue which no longer constitutes a public health emergency of international concern (PHEIC).” That’s the obvious good news. The bad news in the same WHO announcement is that Ghebreyesus is going to convene the International Health Regulations Review Committee to advise on recommendations for the long-term management of the v***s.

The two-year WHO strategic preparedness and response plan is titled “From Emergency Response to Long-Term C****-** Disease Management: Sustaining gains made during the C****-** P******c.” In the forward to the plan, Ghebreyesus writes: “In the wake of so much loss and disruption we must now restore, reinforce and strengthen health systems– which have been devastated –while sustaining the gains made during the p******c. We must also continue to integrate C****-** surveillance and management into that for other respiratory diseases. WHO will continue supporting Member States as they make these adjustments.” Key words are “reinforce and strengthen health systems,” “integrate C****-** surveillance,” and “continue supporting Member States.” Given what the United States went through under WHO directives, no life is safe.

health systems, the Centers for Disease Control and WHO guidance mandated remdesivir and ventilator treatments with high death rates. They monitored whether you took the v*****e, and to control where you could go, what you could buy, and who you could see if you were unv******ted. This “surveillance” was oppressive and tyrannical. The idea that WHO would continue to support member states by issuing more mandates and surveillance, and that America’s CDC would submit to it, is frightening. Their power is suffocating—quarantining healthy people, locking down entire nations. As like in Ezekiel 22:27, WHO’s “princes in the midst thereof are like wolves ravening the prey, to shed blood, and to destroy souls, to get dishonest gain.” WHO cannot be allowed to decide your health for you.
Resist!

Have a Blessed and Powerful day!

Verse of the Day
for Wednesday, May 10th, 2023

and that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
-- 2 Timothy 3:15

Thoughts on Today's Verse...
From infancy! If you had a godly mom or dad who brought you into the world surrounded by faith in Jesus, stories from the Bible, and lullabies of faith, praise God and thank them. If you didn't, then make a commitment that your children and grandchildren will be given this head start in life. Yes, personal faith will be won in adolescence and adulthood, but being surrounded by faith in infancy is such a great head start. To fill a child's world with love, hope, faith, and promise because of Jesus is one of the greatest gifts a parent can give!

My Prayer...
Holy and attentive Father, I thank you for the incredible gift of believing parents. I pray that more of us who do believe will actively share our faith with our children. Please make my family and my life a place where children and grandchildren can find it easy to believe and safe to rejoice in Jesus. In his precious name, I praise and thank you. Amen.

Verse of the Day
for Tuesday, May 9th, 2023

And ye became followers of us, and of the Lord, having received the word in much affliction, with joy of the Holy Ghost: so that ye were ensamples to all that believe in Macedonia and Achaia.
-- 1 Thessalonians 1:6-7

Thoughts on Today's Verse...
The cycle of faithfulness is illustrated in this passage. The Lord is our great example. People of faith model the Lord's character and passion to us. We then live that life of faith as an example to others. In other words, the Gospel is more than words! The Gospel is the good news of Jesus taking root in the life of a person until the fruit it bears is enough of an example of the Lord that someone else sees it and begins to live it, too! The Gospel is both caught and taught!

My Prayer...
Holy God, thank you for making your character known both in Scripture and in human flesh through Jesus. Through your Holy Spirit, I ask that you form in me the character of Christ so that others may see Jesus in my example and live for him. In the precious name of the Savior Jesus I pray. Amen.

Verse of the Day
for Monday, May 8th, 2023

I will praise thee, O LORD, among the people: And I will sing praises unto thee among the nations. -- Psalm 108:3

Thoughts on Today's Verse...
Songs go where evangelism, witnessing, and planned outreach sometimes cannot go. Songs tell a story, offer praise, and deliver t***h in a package that opens hearts and stirs emotions. Songs give life to our souls and stir something primal buried deep inside us by God. When you are around friends you are trying to reach with the Gospel, listen for the kind of music they like. Then when the time is right, point them to songs that share the message of the Gospel with a melody and beat that can stir their hearts. God wants us to praise him — not just in our sanctuaries and churches, but with our friends and across cultures. He wants us to sing in ways that help other people know the "heart song" of our Redeemer's love. So let's sing of God's love among all the peoples!

My Prayer...
Almighty God and righteous Father, thank you so much for the gift of song. Thank you for lyricists that capture the mood of our hearts and the word of your grace and help move others closer to faith. Please bless all those involved in bringing Christian songs to the public and making your Word more understandable to the masses. Empower singing in your Church, and help us to sing of your salvation in ways that reach all peoples on the earth. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

Verse of the Day
for Sunday, May 7th, 2023

Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; Who healeth all thy diseases
-- Psalm 103:2-3

Thoughts on Today's Verse...
Our God is incredible. He not only defines and defeats sin; he also delivers us from the deserved penalty for our sins by forgiving them and also purifying us of all unrighteousness. True healing means more than curing a sick body — and we praise God for the times he has given us physical healing. True healing, however, means we are forgiven and delivered from what breaks our spirits and makes our souls and bodies unhealthy. Only God offers this "benefit" as part of his retirement package for each of us! No wonder we should shout, "Praise the Lord!"

My Prayer...
How can I sufficiently praise you, Abba Father, for your mercy and grace that has forgiven, pardoned, and cleansed me of my sin. Help me never to forget the joy of being forgiven and included in your family. Thank you for your salvation. In Jesus' name I praise you. Amen.

Verse of the Day
for Saturday, May 6th, 2023

and he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for our's only, but also for the sins of the whole world. -- 1 John 2:2

Thoughts on Today's Verse...
Psst! I've got a great secret. Jesus died to set you free from the guilt and punishment of your own sins. Psst, #2! He didn't do it just for you but for everyone else, too! Spread the word.

My Prayer...
I am humbled to the point of silence, Almighty God and Heavenly Father, that you would take your most precious gift and offer it for something as ugly and horrid as my sins. I cannot think of a way to repay you, but I want to thank you by sharing this good news with everyone else for whom you've made this sacrifice. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

Verse of the Day
for Friday, May 5th, 2023

Ezekiel 18:31-32 KJV
Cast away from you all your t***sgressions, whereby ye have t***sgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will ye die, O house of Israel? For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord GOD: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye. -- Ezekiel 18:31-32

Thoughts on Today's Verse...
God commands us to turn away from our own self-seeking ways in repentance. He pleads with us to turn to him with a willingness to obey his will. If we refuse, we must know we are walking the road leading to death. God longs to do the work of rebirth and renewal in us, but he demands that we turn from our destructive ways and offer our hearts to him so that we can be made new by his Holy Spirit. Repentance is to turn off the road leading to destruction and onto the road that leads to the Father's house, the place of life, joy, and salvation!

My Prayer...
Please forgive me, mighty God, for trying to rule and govern my life. I confess I've made a mess of things when I haven't obeyed your Word and rebelled against your will. I want to turn my heart and life entirely over to you. I want to follow your will and live for your glory. Thank you for your forgiveness and strength as I seek to find life in you. In the name of the Savior Jesus, I pray. Amen.

Verse of the Day
for Thursday, May 4th, 2023

Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance, and begin not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, That God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham. -- Luke 3:8

Thoughts on Today's Verse...
Grace is given to us as a free gift. It cannot be earned or merited. But salvation that does not move us out of our self-destructive and rebellious ways is counterfeit — it's just religious motion and commotion. Repentance is a major life change. Repentance is the realization that we have been going the wrong way on a one-way street. Repentance is an acknowledgment that trying to guide our own lives will always end in disappointment, disaster, and death without Jesus being the Lord of our lips and our lives. As we do, we will change our behavior to reflect the character of the Father who sent his Son to be the atoning sacrifice for our sins! We know that God's grace is marvelous, but let's also learn that his will is gracious and life-giving.

My Prayer...
Loving and merciful God, I realize that you saved me from my past sins and also want to save me from the consequences of future sins by calling me to obedience. Please help me as I turn my life over to your will. Please strengthen me with your Spirit so that I may resist temptation and reflect your holiness. Bring to life the fruit that reflects your salvation and character in me. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

Verse of the Day
for Wednesday, May 3rd, 2023

The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. -- 2 Peter 3:9

Thoughts on Today's Verse...
Far from being a vindictive God looking for some reason to condemn us, God wants all people, of all races and languages, to come to know him, to turn to him in repentance, and follow his Son as Lord and Savior. That's why Jesus came (John 3:16-27). That's why Jesus' return has not yet happened. So if our desire is to do the LORD's will and please him in all we do, shouldn't we be doing something to bring all the people of the world to a knowledge of simple t***h about Jesus? This is the mission Jesus gave us (Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 1:8). Shouldn't we do everything we can to help them know his grace and call them to repent and follow Jesus as Lord?

My Prayer...
Righteous and loving Father, please help me as I try to share my faith with friends. Please give me the courage, wisdom, and timing to know when and how to reach outside my comfort zone to share the Gospel with others. Please bless all efforts to lead the lost to repentance and to help them follow Jesus as Lord. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

Verse of the Day
for Tuesday, May 2nd, 2023

And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! -- Romans 10:15

Thoughts on Today's Verse...
How beautiful are your feet? People with beautiful feet are either "sending folks" or "going folks" who share the good news of salvation in Jesus Christ. Which are you? If we're not one of those two options, we're Christians with ugly feet. Now we don't want that to be said of us, do we? So let's make a partnership agreement with other believers by either going and asking for their support and help or by helping and supporting others while they are going!

My Prayer...
Almighty God of the nations, I know it pains your heart to see so many people in our world today that do not even know the name of your Son, much less trust in him as their Lord. Through your Holy Spirit, stir in us the desire to have beautiful feet just like our brothers and sisters had in those early chapters of the book of Acts. May the Gospel spread in our day as it did in theirs! In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

Verse of the Day
for Monday, May 1st, 2023

We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers;
-- 1 Thessalonians 1:2

Thoughts on Today's Verse...
Why is it so hard to share with others that we have thanked God for bringing them into our lives? God let his Son, Jesus, know his love, approval, and pleasure in him. Remember his words at Jesus' baptism? "You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased" (Luke 3:22) He repeated most of these words on the Mount of T***sfiguration, validating Jesus' identity, ministry, and message: This is my Son, whom I love. Listen to him! (Mark 9:7). The Father was rejoicing and giving thanks for his Son!

The apostle Paul also let the struggling churches he planted know he was praying for them (Philippians 1:3). It's a great blessing to thank God for someone special in our lives. It's a double blessing to let those people know that we've thanked God for them being in our lives AND let them know what we have said about them in our thanksgiving. Let's each commit to being a "double blessing" person today!

My Prayer...
Gracious Father, you have blessed me in so many ways! Today, however, I'm especially aware of the many incredible ways you have blessed me through other people. I want to thank you now for the following wonderful Christian people you have placed in my life... (put the names of special people in here and then be sure and let them know you've thanked God for them). Please guard and strengthen them and use them to bless others as they have blessed me. In Jesus' name, I thank and praise you. Amen.
