Key words "peaceably to assemble" what happened at the capital and in your other examples was not peaceable. Doesn't matter if she served her country when you enlist you take an oath to protect the constitution. Since she stayed in the national guard . She knew her rights then ignored them by attempting to enter through the broken window. To many times the excuse of the police officer involved in a shooting is that they feared for his/her safety. If she had gotten in what would have happened?

Your words
Tom, an unnecessary death was caused by a trigger happy cop. Why no outrage about excessive force? Months of r**ts to protest the death of a worthless dopehead black criminal and the death of an unarmed Air Force veteran who was not threatening anyone is "unfortunate?"

First part trigger happy cop.
Duty protect the building and those who are within.
Force apparently needed.
People within are unliked by some. Why come through the window? One reason to open the doors to allow others in. Causing more danger to those within.

Worthless dopehead black criminal.
Duty to serve and protect
Arrived on location because of a report of a f**e 20 bill.
Person a criminal started to give trouble while being put in vehicle.
Resistance given had to be put under control as per policy.
When claims can't breathe restaint still being applied.
key words "as per policy"
When resistance is subdued remove restaint and get medical aid if needed.

As per the constitution all people are created equal will receive the same treatment criminal or up standing citizen.

As for her being a veteran the oath she took follows

I, (state your name), do solemnly swear (or affirm)
that I will support and defend the Constitution of
the United States against all enemies, foreign and
domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance
to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the
President of the United States and the orders of
the officers appointed over me, according to
regulations and the Uniform Code of Military
Justice. So help me God. (optional)

There is such a thing as wrongful orders.

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

This is the one she didn't respect , I have no problem with her while out of uniform being at the meeting. Entering the building with the rest of the mob she payed the price of her decision.

Good news, everyone. Freezing lethal aid to Ukraine in order to thwart Russia is now good again. All it took was Donald Trump leaving office. Weird, right?

I know, politics often mimics parody, but this is a bit much.

Whoa: The White House is freezing a Ukraine military package that includes lethal weapons

When was that aid frozen? You guessed it, right after Biden met with Vladamir Putin. Prior to that meeting, the Russian Defense Minister had said they would pull troops back that had been stationed near the Ukrainian border. That hasn’t actually happened, though, so why would Biden make this move after meeting with Putin?

But despite Russia’s announcement, a top Ukrainian official said in May that about 100,000 Russian troops were still near its border and in Crimea, Al Jazeera reported. That same month, Biden officials told The New York Timesthat the number was closer to 80,000.

Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu announced in May that Moscow was in the process of building 20 new military units to base in Western Russia, close to the Ukrainian border over the next year, though he was vague on specifics.

In other words, the aggression against Ukraine is only getting worse, with current troop deployments being made permanent via new base building which will allow Russia to strike Ukraine at any time. Despite that, Biden bent the knee to Putin’s request and froze a lethal aid package being sent to the Ukrainians.

Statement;
Good news, everyone. Freezing lethal aid to Ukraine in order to thwart Russia is now good again. All it took was Donald Trump leaving office. Weird, right?

No not really it happened twice there was a different reason for the first time that exists the reported incident is below,

First incident,
American aid to Ukraine has drawn intense scrutiny in the past. In 2019, Trump moved to block the delivery of lethal aid to Ukraine as part of an effort to pressure Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to announce an investigation connected to Biden’s son. Zelensky made no such announcement, and the hold-up triggered the first impeachment of Trump. At the time, congressional Democrats were vociferous about the importance of the U.S. providing support to the war-weary country.

Yes he did the reason was put forth in the second commit;

Statement;

Reason;
A line was drawn again if he follows through or not time will tell;

The White House statement also acknowledged that additional security assistance had been made ready, but would be contingent upon Russia crossing territorial red lines:

" We have also prepared contingency funds in the event of a further Russian incursion into Ukraine. As President Biden told President Putin directly, we will stand unwavering in support for Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity."

Statement;
But despite Russia’s announcement, a top Ukrainian official said in May that about 100,000 Russian troops were still near its border and in Crimea, Al Jazeera reported. That same month, Biden officials told The New York Times that the number was closer to 80,000.

Now if the reason can be belived or not it, is listed next;

Reason;
“The reason they left those units is because they said that they intend to use them in Zapad 2021,” a large military exercise Russia holds every several years with Belarus involving tens of thousands of troops, said Michael Kofman, director of Russian studies at CNA. Moscow had already t***sported heavy armor, rocket units and other equipment from their home bases in Central Russia, “and they didn’t want to d**g them back. That was their argument, and we'll see,” Kofman added. The last Zapad exercise was held in 2017, and the next one is set for September.

As for added aid it is still there and being set for delivery. The only real opinion I have always belived is we as a country should not get involved in civil wars which Ukraine started as.

I believe that the schools must have rules of behavior, and must enforce those rules. But I stand by what I said in regards to the schools' purpose and responsibility being to educate, not to parent. I believe, of course, that schools should be reporters (of neglect, abuse, etc). However roles not being clearly delineated over many years appears to have caused schools to lose sight of their main function. Which is to offer a good education for children.

True the rules should be enforced, but in action the schools can't because the enforcement isn't allowed. By parents and school districts and the law. While I was in school a saying was used to define this. The administrators are afraid of the school board, the school board is afraid of the parents and the students are afraid of no one. As my parents saw it at the time when your child is sent to school , the school is charged with caring for them which included punishment when needed. It was understood by both that the punishment was to equal the misbehavior and applied equally.
Unfortunately that understanding stopped and the children started to rule. This saying covers whats happening , spare the rod spoil the child. Physical punishment isn't always needed. But there has to be an understanding that every action has consequences. A good education can only be had when there are no distractions, by controlling the responsibilty of the school the distractions are many and have to be dealt with often.

Not history. My attitude toward the schools was that they should concentrate on the 3 Rs, and leave the 3 Ms to the family and their churches (manners, morals, morality and such)

Judging by some of the actions presented by children / young adults it is not being taught. Then again a full and stable family has to be present for the teaching. With the present situration it is not entirely possible when both parents have to work to survive. The single parent through what ever reason has to be included. Assistance has to be provided to allow this select group along the way to help themselves. Under reasonable conditions of course for the assitance to be provided is a requirement.
Example Pima county has a program that provides those who are quailifed for the program a grant to allow for living expenses , child care if needed and school expenses. The requirements are simple go to school and mantain your grades. This program helps to fill needed job positions.

Yes. It was NOT because "the white man" h**ed the black man being successful, as so many are trying to say. Race relations SUCKED back then, no doubt about that (in both directions). But I h**e when people use a tragic incident, that harmed so many, so long ago, to push a modern day narrative that doesn't connect, because it was literally a different world then.

The thing about history is that you can learn from it , then you are able to spot the trouble before it starts or choose to ignore it and repeat it. The deeper you follow the reports the more you can align what happen then to what's happening now. Not connected like you said it is a different time. One thing is for sure some people don't change their basic beliefs or teachings. I haven't experience the better then you , but have experienced the stereotype actions.

Not true. It began when a young black man was accused of raping a white woman in an elevator. Bystanders could hear her screams, and when the door opened she was disheveled and her clothing was ripped. The young man was arrested. A group of white men showed up at the jail ( probably with bad intentions) and a larger group of black men showed up armed. 10 w****s were k**led, and 5 b****s that night. The next day the w****s had a B*M moment, and burned down the neighborhood in retaliation. 36 people were k**led in total, including the 15 the first night. Hundreds were displaced. It's not right. But it's no worse than what B*M and A****a have been doing for years. It had little to do with "keeping the Black man down". I would guess it also had to do with mob activity, both black and white.

You are right a black man was accused of rape and a newpaper had an article saying that he had raped Sarah Page, with an additional editorial saying a lynching was to be held. "Guilty until proven innoccent." Sound familar ? During that time all it took was the word of a woman and the accused being black. For something like this to be started , the belief at the time . " A white man wouldn't have done it."

On May 30, 1921, Dick Rowland, a young African American shoe shiner, was accused of assaulting a white elevator operator named Sarah Page in the elevator of a building in downtown Tulsa. The next day the Tulsa Tribune printed a story saying that Rowland had tried to rape Page, with an accompanying editorial stating that a lynching was planned for that night. That evening mobs of both African Americans and w****s descended on the courthouse where Rowland was being held. When a confrontation between an armed African American man, there to protect Rowland, and a white protester resulted in the death of the latter, the white mob was incensed, and the Tulsa massacre was thus ignited.

Later on a commission was put together in 97 to record the incident,

In 1997 a Tulsa Race R**t Commission was formed by the state of Oklahoma to investigate the massacre and formally document the incident. Members of the commission gathered accounts of survivors who were still alive, documents from individuals who witnessed the massacre but had since died, and other historical evidence. Scholars used the accounts of witnesses and ground-piercing radar to locate a potential mass grave just outside Tulsa’s Oaklawn Cemetery, suggesting the death toll may be much higher than the original records indicate.

I do vett, the problem with that is one Source will be found as the originator of the article with the rest of the news media just re-copying it with their journalists name and then giving credit to some author who actually did do it .. You gave to literally go to outside sources to see what is being said by them.. Tedious and frustrating!!

That circle you speak of is exactly what our supposed impartial media intends....

Check it out before it goes out is what people should do even as if it tedious and frustrating. That is the only way to break the circle. Some do check , others still push the info as true.

True, yet how many of the media sources go there to cross reference along with the time to get wh**ever they may be looking for?? By then “ the news” has changed...That works on procedural contents/world issues involved in by the Prez but not the everyday stuff these liars suppress or intentionally ignore~~

No arguement there the media will go to where the money is at. If the people who are following the item being covered allows it to happen then it going to continue. Example apples aren't liked so the media will start tailoring the reporting to continue reported dislike of the apples. Since the people who dislike apples will continue to follow the reporting it going to keep the profits up. The same conditions are present when a report is made and it follows the peoples opinions. It then becomes a constant circle , to continue the profit the story will get more inline to what people want to hear. By not checking the sources and just putting it out by sharing it keeps the circle going.

The massacre he is referring to happened on May 1921 , to was known as black wallstreet. It's an area called Greenwood in Tulsa where black businessman at one time were living that were doing good in the business world. At the time it was very annoying to some that a group of people who were considered to be stupid and unable to add two plus two and get four. Were able to live as well as prominent businessman were. As for the prompting of a race war. It was started by the white population and some were deputized and given weapons by the government. It can be said that it is still happening. Forgetting history can lead to repeating it.

Just like the written word it also can be manipulated so it does not say the same thing to me , the text of the speech does not mention anything about the statement made.
