Capitalism has lifted more people out of poverty than any other system in the history of the world. And America where it has flourished has been the model where immigrants from around the world have came to assimilate into the American culture and became prosperous. Poor people mostly from Europe came to America and actually owned property, something unheard of where they came from. Currently unless we as a nation get our tax system under control we will be nothing more than s***es to the system. When we get old we will be "renting" our homes from the Government. When we cease to be able to pay the property taxes we will cease to be able to live in our homes.

If Donald J. Trump and Joe Biden were running for Husband of the Year, one or two of your points might have some small validity. If they were running for Father of the Year, I would say that any of Trump's children more than prove Trump raised them better than Joe Biden raised coke head whore mongering H****r.

But Trump and Biden are running for a job that requires sk**l, judgement, and talent. Much like two men competing for the job of being the captain of an airliner or a giant cruise ship. This man will have many lives in his hands.

Competence is overrides all other qualifications. We have two men each with a term under their belts, almost. Joe Biden has proven he is more incompetent than Donald J. Trump. Biden's American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 was inflationary. That along with his other stupidity, like declaring war on the oil industry gave us 9 % inflation.

Then President Biden's botched Afghanistan withdrawal. Enough said about that. Next we have the total disaster at the Southern Border. Millions of i******s flooding over the border, along with tons of drugs. Then we have the botched handling of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. We have the worst of all possibilities, a bloody WW1 style stalemate. All because Joe slow walked supplies to Ukraine.

Donald J. Trump wins on competence against senile Uncle Joe Biden.

George Washington Law Professor Jonathan Turley took a sledgehammer to evidence Bragg presented thus far in court in an op-ed published by The Hill.

Turley called the case Bragg put on “truly insane.”

Turley started with Bragg’s opening witness, National Enquirer publisher David Pecker.

Pecker testified about his magazine paying Playboy Playmate Karen McDougal $150,000 for her story about an alleged affair with Trump.

“Bragg decided to start with a witness to discuss an affair that is not part of the indictment. David Pecker, former publisher of the National Enquirer tabloid, had supposedly been paid to k**l a story of a Trump affair with a different woman, Karen McDougal, a former Playboy model,” Turley wrote.

But the payment to McDougal isn’t part of the indictment, so all Bragg did was waste time on a witness who testified about a story that Trump isn’t facing charges for.

Pecker also testified about the volatile nature of Bragg’s star witness – former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen – which only serves to undermine the testimony Cohen will deliver when the time comes.

The absurdity of Bragg’s case summed up

Eventually, Bragg is going to get to the point – which is that Trump identified payments to Michael Cohen as for legal services when they were allegedly to reimburse Cohen for the nondisclosure agreement (NDA) payment to Stormy Daniels.

But Cohen was Trump‘s lawyer at the time.

And Turley pointed out that Cohen will testify that Trump should go to jail for following Cohen’s legal advice on how to structure the NDA to Daniels.

“Pecker added that Bragg’s star witness, Michael Cohen, commonly exaggerated and often became loud and argumentative. Cohen will effectively ask the jury to send his former client to jail for following his own legal advice,” Turley added.

Turley also compared this case to Rube Goldberg, an inventor who designed a machine that took multiple convoluted steps to achieve a simple task.

“Bragg has created the perfect Rube Goldberg attraction. The artist himself explained his unlikely success by saying, ‘It just happened that the public happened to appreciate the satirical quality of these crazy things.’ In New York, that appreciation has moved from the satirical to the legal,” Turley wrote.

If the jury is acting out of any sense of fairness and a desire to see justice done, they will all v**e to acquit Trump in short order.

But no one thinks that will happen because the jury is pulled from Manhattan, where both Bragg and Joe Biden got more than 80 percent of the v**e.

The good news for Trump is that polls show the American people don’t view this case as serious as poll after poll show only a distinct minority of the public – likely all Trump h**ers to begin – think Trump did something illegal.

proud, I have heard this before. My personal experience was that with my next door neighbor in Maryland. They were a delightful family. I once had a student exchange with Egypt, I volunteered to accept a couple of Egyptian middle school aged kids. One was scared stiff of me because I was Jewish. I sent him next door to speak with Palestinian neighbor, and wh**ever she said, he came back to my house and we had a great week.
Let's not forget that many Muslim Arab kids grew up where hatred of Israel and Jews were part of the curriculum. The current war with Hamas is proof of their greatest fears against Israel are true because of Israel's response to the barbarian attack, murder, rape and torture of well over a thousand Israelis attending a peace concert. They could have had a Palestinian state decades ago, if they would agree to sit down and work out any problems they have.
