Time will tell what happens. If it comes down to civil war this country is lost! Any solution to the problem has to come from those in a position of leadership of this country.

I have to agree with those who say "pray". There is no power greater then God. He is responsible for this country's birth, and will be responsible for this country's death (whenever that happens).

Why he didn't go to Louisiana or Texas to survey the damage ??? Thank God he won't be ! !

Red, I agree with your last line. The reason neither Biden or Trumpdid not go to Texas, or Louisiana may be they'd ID not want to get in the way of cleanup people. Both can see the damage on TV. How much money Trump sends the states has not been determined yet (that I know of). You can bet that it won't be enough in the opinion of dumocrats!

You mean we h**e the freedom of speech and right to protest? Like taking a knee to protest how b****s are treated by the police? Is that what we h**e? What about e******y and the right not to be discriminated against--like a gay person having a wedding cake made for them without being discriminated against. Is that what you mean? What about the right to control your own body--without that there can be no other rights. So we are against a woman's right to control her own body? Is that what you mean?

All these are fundamental to the founding of this county yet YOU Cons are the ones who stand against them. You don't believe in e******y, a woman's right to control her body, or the right to protest or freedom of speech. And last you don't believe in the rule of law. These are all fundamental to the rights outlined in our founding yet you don't believe in a single one of them so maybe you need to think again about just who is it that h**es America.

Does the Baker who's business is being discriminated against have the right to select who's business he wants or doesn't want? Does the baby have a say on the k*****g of itself? A woman has the say on does she or does she not want to become pregnant. All she has to do is practice birth control! K*****g a baby is used by women for birth control.

Actually they started long before Johnson, but with the Great Society everything was ramped up.

I'm not sure just when this all started but the only thing I see stopping it is to start enforcing the laws that are on the books. From my point of view, that does not look to me like it will get done under dumocrat leadership.

If dumocrats are not going to stop it v**e in Republicans and hope they do. I say "hope" because too many Republicans seem to be turning against President Trump! Looks like they are more concerned with holding their seat then enforcing the laws of this country.

Yes, if a young person wants to improve himself to be a more productive citizen why should finances prevent him/her from it. We are only as strong as our up and coming generations in a very competitive world. Why not? The more people who get a career and become successful the more that cycle will continue. We've seen what happens to kids in the ghetto and in the majority what happens to them, more then likely they go to prison and become a debt to tax payers, is that what you would prefer? That bill is a LOT heavier than a college degree or technical school.

There is an old saying in the criminal justice world " don't do the crime if you can't do the time!".

The monetary cost of "doing the time" is borne by all tax payers. The human cost is borne by person convicted of the crime. I donot know what the percentage of those released for "illegal conviction" is, but it is very low.

Well, I don't know. If there's going to be money for welfare anyway, why not use it for a college education instead of handouts? The students who qualify for such a program either attend classes diligently, study hard and make good grades or they're kicked off the program. When they how much more money they can earn with a college degree than they would on welfare or minimum wage jobs, being on welfare will be alot less attractive.

Not everyone is college material which is where your comment is groundless.

If a person wants a job let them show the employer they want the job. Go dressed appropriately, sit properly and be respectful.

Nobody ever handed me a job. Second job I had after I getting out of service to this country I took a cut in pay to get!

It amazes me how so many of you actually miss the point. No one is asking "you" to 'pull them out of' anything. All that anyone has ever asked for is an even playing field.

Many black people today (in the r**ts) give people the impression they are demanding equal opportunity. Have they shown equal opportunity is not available to them today? They point to statistics like black versus white hired. But do the statistics show who is more qualified for the job?

What is the education of the people seeking the job, what kind of grades did they get in school, how were they dressed when they applied for the job? If your job was to hire someone for a job you would want the person you thought is the best person for the job, no matter what that persons race is.

If they want a college degree let them get a job & earn the money to go to college. No college degree was handed to me!

The difference between the money from a college degree & welfare is not that great if you want to relax at home, watch TV, go out at night and steal what you want.

Why do you not answer the question instead of giving a juvenile comment? Could it be because by giving a juvenile comment you avoid the issue?
