The only things trump has done serve to put the damper on the record growth..

Tariffs and trade wars are halting investment as uncertainty always does..

A reminder, president Obama did not bring the nation down.. it was down when he had to enter office and the direction he sent it was UP..

The obstruction by McConnell and the republican to everything President Obama did was historical.

food stamps are a state service related to time lines as well as the economy.. Obama allowed extension on time lines a/c of the recession it is natural that the stamp program have fewer users as things got better. a delay due to those time lines only amounted to a few months.

Farm markets are in tatters and business investment has become the slowest in 10 years..

The growth cycle will fall apart sooner rather then later and that is what trump get credit for..

As nearly always, the republican POS puts the economy in a hole and then some Democrat will have to work to fix it.. this coming maybe harder then even the great recession that President Obama did so well to fix.. or it may be a decade away..

These times are good, yet the Repubs boost the debt, and have trillion dollar deficits..

Yes, as a matter of fact, I am very proud, there were many good bills and acts that have been brought forth through Obama, giving millions health care for one, to the people who wouldn't have been considered, due to the pre-existing clause.

Or what Obama was doing for the environment, his clean air bill in his Clean Power Plan,

His clean water plan(Waters of the United States (WOTUS) rule). The regulation defined the scope of federal water protection in a more consistent manner, particularly over streams and wetlands which have a significant hydrological and ecological connection to traditional navigable waters, interstate waters, and territorial seas.

How about the Dodd-Frank Bill that protected us from the exploitation of the abuses of greed through the banking financial system.

How about protecting our wildlife, where h****rs had to stop shooting in dens and by choppers.

How about preserving our lands and parks, which under Trump are now being ruined and destroyed to please the oil mongers, rather than exploring and developing new energy sources and also creating new jobs.

What has Trump done take all these protections away.

The socialism part I mean.. and so are the great majority of Democrats..

As for the candidates, the ones making the most noise get the headlines and publicity therefore the lead..

But others, note my girl Amy Klobacher.. are middle of the road and have expressed some practicable and doable policy. complete with the how-to..

She has still, to my surprise, in the running and has qualified for the next debate..

Perhaps if these people can stay around for a while we and you will get some sound bites from them..
