This is true, it has the potential of becoming...a baby. A ball of clay is not a bowl, it is a process. The beginnings of a tadpole looks an awful lot like an embryo.

Get a microscope. Things happen, Morg, that can't be seen by the naked eye. Or take a course in embryology.

When you are engaging in the instantaneous gratification of sexual pleasure, there are things going on in your body that in most cases contribute to the well-being of society. In your case, probably not, but I wouldn't hold that against any offspring of yours.

The American people should not be paying for others to get their rocks off, either. Welfare, when you get down to it, is basically just that: payments for breeding. Or lack thereof.

Yes, she is and was even before she just started speaking her mind so to speak.. In her capacity though it violates the fundamental rule of staying impartial, and keeping her personal opinion out of the public at hand.. She has diminished the respect of the highest court in her outlandish disrepect which leaves me not respecting her!!!

No doubt about it, Marsinah.. It allowed irresponsiblity and thinking they could just abort all because they both couldn’t take a pill or put on a condom....

I support freedom of choice because I don’t believe our government should be interferring in our right.. I do not support a******n unless medically necessary or rape, incest.. I do believe in carrying too term and then adoption in those late term pregnancy where a fully developed live sustaining baby is involved..

Hey, Forgive me for not welcoming you earlier..Welcome and enjoy..Great topics and people, take nothing serious.. We do get passionate in our political views at times... 🌺🌹

Thanks, lj. But you know me.

Murder, lj, is not a right. If a woman chooses to have sex, she is also choosing to carry a baby---a new soul---to term, should that possibility occur.

By the way, stay away from Rodney, ok? He told me he likes to impress you.

This topic, "The Most Dangerous Game", started by Seer (Me) in February 2016, was blocked from view. Someone important on the world stage has suggested that perhaps it is because the Gulch has been infiltrated by members of the "vile entanglement of Leftism and Global Deep State" and/or their cohorts, the Neo-Cons. He was very impressed with both the content of the topic and the comments posted thereto, as well as the pertinency of the topic.

Thought you all might like this quote, from "A Canticle for Leibowitz":

The atheist physician tells the abbot of St. Leibowitz Monastery (1900 years post-apocalypse): "You think people have a soul..."

To which the abbot replies: "You don't HAVE a soul; you ARE a soul. You HAVE a body, temporarily."

Do you all know that a "zygote" is the cell formed by the immediate union of sperm and egg and contains all DNA necessary for that "soul" to reach its full potential?

Who said the man has no resposibility?

I believe I was referring to lj's comment:
"Not do they have a right to force a woman to keep the baby even if he wants it..
I believe that should be a consideration yet it is not."

Responsibility is the other side of the coin.

Are you serious? Please point out which of our unalienable rights are immoral.

Please explain why "usurpation"of our unalienable rights are challenged in the US Court of International Trade.

FYI: Roe v Wade is neither an unalienable right nor is it a constitutional statute. It is a SCOTUS ruling, nothing more.

If you think that our laws do not have a moral basis, you need to go back to first grade and start over.

Murder is not wrong because it is illegal, murder is illegal because it is wrong.

Ronnie is saying a fetus has no rights, unalienable or otherwise. He apparently has no one to talk for him either.

A real weirdo. And gave America an opportunity, more than any war, to the devastation of vast amounts of intellect and creativity.

And birth defects. I am of the opinion that because some v***ses hide in human semen, there is a colossal amount of "defects" due to the colossal amount of sexual activity released by Roe v. Wade.

Apparently men also believe they have no choice in even "her" right to sexual intercourse. Just spread your seed and get away. No responsibilities, just fugitives of sex.

Lets get back to Joan of Arc. I believe the 'she looked like a man narrative'
was something that TPTB at that time put a label on to discredit her. I studied
a lot of art work and many oil paintings show Joan of Arc to be quite lovely.
Now on the other hand many line art drawings not so much.

And to address the 'she looked like a man narrative', how else would anyone look
outfitted to the hilt in total body armor?

It was a very long time ago, but I understand that George Bernard Shaw, who referred to her as the first Protestant saint (because when her interrogators tried to make her feel she was sinning against the Church, she replied: "God first served") portrayed her as somewhat homely.

Since this is a Mark Twain thread, I will need to inform you that Twain called her the "...most extraordinary person the human race has ever produced". I'm sure her looks reflected that.

This puts me in mind of "The Walden Fallacy" from Frank Herbert's "The Dosadi Experiment":

"Behavioral engineering in all of its manifestations always degenerates into merciless manipulation. It reduces all (manipulators and manipulated alike) to a deadly "mass effect". The central assumption, that manipulation of individual personalities can achieve uniform behavioral responses, has been exposed as a lie by many species but never with more telling effect than by the Gowachin on Dosadi. Here, they showed us the "Walden Fallacy" in ultimate foolishness, explaining: "Given any species which reproduces by genetic mingling such that every individual is a unique specimen, all attempts to impose a decision matrix based on assumed uniform behavior will prove lethal."

Think Social Cognitive Theory.

This is to follow up and finish up Lady Laughs Alot topics on Mark Twain:

"...In my contacts with the species I find no one who possesses a quality which I do not possess. The shades of difference between other people and me serve to make variety and prevent monotony, but that is all; broadly speaking we are all alike; and so by studying myself carefully and comparing myself with other people and noting the divergences, I have been enabled to acquire a knowledge of the human race which I perceive is more accurate and more comprehensive than that which has been acquired and revealed by any other member of our species. As a result, my private and concealed opinion of myself is not of a complimentary sort. It follows that my estimate of the human race is the duplicate of my estimate of myself."

Was it dread?

Do You Know Someone Suffering From Trump Unacceptance Resistance Disorder (TURD)?

Know the signs, spot the symptoms, and save a life!

"TURD" is a pattern of pathologically disasociative and psychotic behavior, first observed in the late hours of November 8, 2016, and increasing in severity with passing time.

Sufferers of "TURD" often exhibit pronounced cognitive dissonance, sudden bouts of rage, r**ting, and uncontrollable crying.

People with "TURD" are characterized by a persistent unwillingness to accept that Donald Trump is going to Make America Great Again.

"TURD" is caused by the e******n of Donald Trump as President of the United States of America. For many, both in America and worldwide, this was a shocking and unexpected outcome; their preferred news sources having failed to inform them that the other candidate was a criminal and in such ill health.

Research is ongoing, but "TURD" appears to correlate closely with the following environmental and behavioral factors:

– Membership in the Democratic Party.

– The 1st amendment, Free Speech, only pertains to them.

– Believe religiously in the media's integrity and unbiased reporting.

– Advocating strongly that Barack Obama should be "sainted."

– Consider themselves perfect; that any witch-hunt would find they have never sinned.

– Believe that a country (all sexes) that pees together, stays together.

– Identifying as a Feminist

– Currently enrolled in college, and/or Possession of a Liberal Arts college degree

– Living in a densely populated metropolitan area

– Believe that guns k**l people rather than people k**l people.

– Think that John Kerry is the greatest military hero in US history.

– Consider Hillary Clinton the greatest woman in the world history.

– Admire Nancy Pelosi and her great oratory and leadership sk**ls.

– Pushing to nominate Bill Clinton to lead the "MeToo" movement.
– Consider Maxine Waters the most rational speaker for the Democrats.

– Massive student debt.

– Spotty or non-existent work history.

– Every i*****l i*******t should be given the same rights as an American citizen.
Patients with "TURD" are very resistant to treatment, and dangerous in large groups. Any possibility of treatment requires that they be separated from their propaganda support apparatus; they cannot begin the process of accepting reality in the presence of encouragement towards delusion and irrationality. Separation may require the assistance of law enforcement.

If you have a friend or loved one suffering from "TURD," stage an intervention to help them.

TOGETHER WE CAN BEAT THIS SCOURGE & MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN.
Do You Know Someone Suffering From Trump Unaccepta... (show quote)

If America is going to be great again, it won't be Trump---El Stupido---that is going to do it. And the only thing I suffer from is misanthropy, brought on by OPP posters and topics such as this one.
