Theoretically speaking the more people that heed the warning of the coming apocalypse,the more people that survive. Thus actually serving to weaken the effects of the apocalyptic events.
I guess you're saying that this is an attempt to save lives. If that is the case and these apocalyptic events are the fulfillment of Biblical prophecy then aren't you actually working against God?
