New Cuomo Executive Order Will Have Military Take Ventilators from Rural Hospitals to NYC

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced he would sign an executive order Friday allowing the National Guard to take ventilators and personal protective equipment from hospitals that are not in urgent need of the equipment and send the supplies to areas that have been hit harder by the c****av***s.

Cuomo said there have been more than 100,000 confirmed cases of C****-** in New York as of Friday morning, and a majority of those cases are in New York City and its surrounding counties.

“I am signing an executive order allowing [the] state to take ventilators and PPE, which will be returned or reimbursed,” Cuomo said at a news conference, according to WGRZ-TV. “I apologize to those institutions.”

The National Guard will be mobilized to pick up and distribute supplies to hospitals in need, shifting resources around the state depending on need.

“There could be several hundred excess ventilators in hospitals that don’t need them right now,” Cuomo said.

“If they want to sue me for borrowing ventilators to save lives, let them sue me.”

Health care worker union leaders told The Buffalo News they were still trying to figure out how their members would be affected.

“Knowing what I know at this moment, it’s frightening,” Cori Gambini, a registered nurse and president of Communications Workers of America Local 1168, said.

Although the facilities in her area have not seen shortages yet, she does understand the current state of affairs in New York City.

“But we definitely don’t have enough to be sending anywhere,” she added.

Republican legislators in Erie County said Cuomo’s order “is extremely troubling.”

“Other parts of the state are in more advanced stages of this public health crisis and may display a greater need for our resources today than we do. However, that scenario might be different two days from now,” the Erie County Legislature Minority Caucus said in a statement.

“We cannot allow the state to confiscate our public health resources by force and redistribute them to New York City. The offer to pay for them only adds insult to injury. Once they are taken, we will not get them back when we need them, and clearly none are available for purchase.”

The statement added, “We want to help, but if we hit our peak while our resources are elsewhere, Erie County residents will die. We cannot let that happen.”

State Sen. Rob Ortt warned that the order would put residents and health care professionals in western and upstate New York in danger.

The “confiscation of these stockpiles for shipment downstate will leave our health care system dangerously low when our apex arrives,” he told The Buffalo News.

With the C****-** v***s surging from coast to coast, Americans are beginning to band together.

Have you been to the store lately? Did you see all the people with masks? Panic in this p******c is becoming quite insane. Social distancing is a good idea. But the economy being closed for business is a bad idea. Sending people home, is a good idea, but keeping them from work is a bad idea.

Look we are all God's children and by "Loving thy neighbor" is a good idea. Doing it to earn a buck, is a bad idea. Doing something for a neighbor out of the kindness of your heart is a good idea. Doing it because it is popular to do, is a bad idea.

I learned that one of my favorite Country Music Artists died, Joe Diffie.

Joe wrote the song, "Third rock from the sun." It was one of my favorite songs in country music. We will miss Joe, but I remember why I keep telling others to Pray. I started a topic to Pray for America once again, and yet no one has come to share their prayers, yet no one has done so, therefore, I ask you to do so again like you did in 2014 on the topic, "Praying for America through a Psalm of David."

God did not send this plague upon us because of Him, but rather we as humans brought it upon ourselves through our sins. Democrats pushed to crucify, Donald Trump through impeachment neglecting the C****-** v***s. Donald saw the threat and acted early. Those against the President, told us that Trump is ridiculous keeping us from traveling. Hmmm, I wonder who was right and who was wrong.

But whosoever was right or whosoever was wrong does not matter now. What is worse than the C****-** v***s, is the panic now raging worse than the epidemic of C****-**. How do we get over panic? We pray! God is listening yet no one is praying. What a sad state of Affairs. I will continue to pray, will you?

Prayer works, I believe that is how Donald Trump became president in the first place. Donald did not make the disease, nor did he bring the disease amongst us. But it is here anyway. But now it is here, Donald is determined to get Americans healthy again. Donald is just one man, where are the other 4.8 billion Americans.
