Just a t***hful observation. There is nothing to deflect about.

Do you believe that an unbiased individual would believe the US deserves to be sanctioned for its aggressive invasions of sovereign nations???

Yep, the chemical attack false f**g is just a few days away. All these anonymous claims that Putin plans on using chemical weapons are building and building. The perfect kind of info to make a chemical attack on Ukraine seem the natural retaliation. And yet, it comes from Ukraine.

It will come as Russia tightens the noose on the Ukrainian forces...

Most likely against civilians..

Why wouldn't China sell or provide weapons to Serbia. Serbia is and always has been allied to Russia.

If the conflict escalates, Serbia might like a little extra protection as the would be fighting against NATO. It appears the Chinese anticipate conflict with the west.

Also, Serbia can't purchase weapons from Russia at the moment, which is its traditional source... Makes sense to turn to?China...

And, has ALSO sanctioned some of the other barbarians of the world who haven't invaded a sovereign country. This is Joe the Imbecile's inconsistent game right now so why not ask him instead?

Do you feel that the US and its allies deserve to be sanctioned?

People get the government they deserve. Is it authoritarian?

Certainly leans that way... Much like many of the ex Soviet nations ..Including Russia...

Not surprising... Democracy comes in many forms...

The Russians were ignoring Chechnia until the Islamists there tried to spread their influence to neighboring Dagestan setting off terrorist explosions there. Only then did the Russians feel they had to subdue the area.

I think the Chechen rebels used Georgia as a sanctuary, which gives some justification for the Russian invasion there.

In Ukraine on the other hand the Russians have no excuse for invading.

True.. Chechnya did invade Dagostan...
True...Chechens fled to Georgia..
False...Chechens were also in the Ukraine targeting Russians in the Donbas region... Look it up

I have been depressed, but never experienced depression. My wife has, and a granddaughter. CD, I would never use the term 'weak' to describe anyone suffering from this disease. And neither would I consider it 'mental illness'. A victim CAN be weak, and CAN be mentally ill, but neither are necessarily true. But I guess it depends on your personal definition of the terms.
In the case of my wife, it was a hormonal thing that affected her over ten years, sometimes badly, sometimes unnoticeable. Medication and a hysterectomy (for other medical reasons) eventually eliminated the problem.
In the case of my granddaughter, she is being treated and is doing well.
In the case of the young man who committed suicide, I have no idea, and I doubt any of us can do more than provide guesses. But the lady, IMO, did commit murder, or at least attempted murder. Is the person who cocks a pistol and hands it to a suicidal individual guilty of anything? What about the wife who provides her suicidal husband with a glass of antifreeze along with his dinner? I don't see much difference. Does anyone feel differently?

My own experience with depression has been that it is manageable if the individual is strong... Strength comes from many places..Family, community, and self... I'm glad your family is handling it, sorry that you had to experience it....

Your reply is meaningless,
if you have something to say, say it.

The fact that China is supplying Serbia with weapons is what you could call a "concern",
and it most likely is based on Serbia's history of war crimes during the Yugoslav Wars,
including massacres, ethnic cleansing, systematic rape, crimes against humanity and genocide.

Defensive weapons Blade...

Like those the US supplies to the middle East and Israel...

Russia's invasion of Ukraine is now in its second month. I saw several justifications offered for Russia's action and many more (mine included) condemning it.

I'm curious as to whether anyone has changed his original position and if so, why. Please respond if you've reconsidered and tell us why.

One can both justify and condemn the invasion... The positions aren't mutually exclusive...

I have learned more about the Ukrainian government and history in the past few months, which makes me less inclined to support them...

The government, not the refugees...
