I’m not so sure America “saved” them from Germany. The war was close to being over by the time we mobilized and joined the fight. I believe the Germans realized it was not fruitful to continue the war. Because of that we got WWII.

And we saved their sorry a$$es, from Germany, again!

did you notice the one line about a steam driven military "tractor" produced in the 1700s? Wow, before the revoluntary war. amazing, like to know more about that..

FYI; Ford started with the Model T. Ford produced all of the materials for his cars: steel, rubber, leather, wood….all of it.

Ford produced one million Model Ts by the end of 1915 and FIVE million by 1921. By comparison, Europeans couldn’t “fight their way out of wet paper bag”! In fact, we had had to save them from Germany in WWI!

FBI, R.I.P.?
The agency has become dangerous to Americans and an existential threat to their democracy and rule of law.
By Victor Davis Hanson

August 10, 2022
The FBI is dissolving before our eyes into a rogue security service akin to those in Eastern Europe during the Cold War.

Take the FBI’s deliberately asymmetrical application of the law. This week the bureau surprise-raided the home of former President Donald Trump—an historical first.

A massive phalanx of FBI agents swooped into the Trump residence while he was not home, to confiscate his personal property, safe, and records. All of this was over an archival dispute of p**********l papers common to many former presidents. Agents swarmed the entire house, including the wardrobe closet of the former first lady.

Note we are less than 90 days out from a midterm e******n, and this was not just a raid, but a political act.

The Democratic Party is anticipated to suffer historical losses. Donald Trump was on the verge of announcing his 2024 p**********l candidacy. In many polls, he remains the Republican front-runner for the nomination—and well ahead of incumbent Joe Biden in a putative 2024 rematch.

In 2016 then FBI Director James Comey announced that candidate Hillary Clinton was guilty of destroying subpoenaed emails—a likely felony pertaining to her tenure as secretary of state. Yet he all but pledged that she would not be prosecuted given her status as a p**********l candidate.

As far as targeting p**********l candidates, Donald Trump was impeached in 2020 ostensibly for delaying military aid to Ukraine by asking Ukrainian officials to investigate more fully the clearly corrupt Biden family—given Joe Biden at the time was a likely possible p**********l opponent in 2020.

The FBI has devolved into a personal retrieval service for the incorrigible Biden family. It suppressed, for political purposes, information surrounding H****r B***n’s missing laptop on the eve of the 2020 e******n.

Previously, the FBI never pursued H****r’s fraudulently registered firearm, his mysterious foreign income, his felonious crack cocaine use, or his regular employment of foreign prostitutes.

Yet in a pre-dawn raid just before the 2020 e******n, the FBI targeted the home of journalist James O’Keefe on grounds someone had passed to him the lost and lurid diary of Ashley Biden, Biden’s wayward daughter.

At various times, in Stasi-style the FBI has publicly shackled Trump economic advisor Peter Navarro, swarmed the office of Trump’s legal counsel Rudy Giuliani, and sent a SWAT team to surround the house of Trump ally Roger Stone. Meanwhile, terrorists and cartels walk with impunity across an open border.

FBI Director Christopher Wray last week cut short his evasive testimony before Congress. He claimed he had to leave for a critical appointment—only to use his FBI Gulfstream luxury jet to fly to his favorite vacation spot in the Adirondacks.

Wray took over from disgraced interim FBI Director Andrew McCabe. The latter admitted lying repeatedly to federal investigators and signed off on a fraudulent FBI FISA application. He faced zero legal consequences.

McCabe, remember, was also the point man in the softball Hillary Clinton email investigation—while his wife was a political candidate and recipient of thousands of dollars from a political action committee with close ties to the Clinton family.

McCabe took over from disgraced FBI Director James Comey. On 245 occasions, Comey claimed under oath before the House Intelligence Committee that he had no memory or knowledge of key questions concerning his tenure. With impunity, he leaked confidential FBI memos to the media.

Comey took over from Director Robert Mueller. Implausibly, Mueller swore under oath that he had no knowledge, either of the Steele dossier or of Fusion GPS, the firm that commissioned Christopher Steele to compile the dossier. But those were the very twin catalysts that had prompted his entire special investigation into the Russian collusion h**x.

FBI legal counsel Kevin Clinesmith was convicted of a felony for altering an FBI warrant request to spy on an innocent Carter Page.

The FBI, by Comey’s own public boasts, bragged how it caught National Security Advisor designate General Michael Flynn in its Crossfire Hurricane Russian collusion h**x.

As special counsel, Mueller then fired two of his top investigators—Lisa Page and Peter Strzok—for improper personal and professional behavior. He then staggered their releases to mask their collaborative wrongdoing.

Mueller’s team deleted critical cell phone evidence under subpoena that might well have revealed systemic FBI-related bias.

The FBI interferes with and warps national e******ns. It hires complete frauds as informants who are far worse than its targets. It humiliates or exempts government and elected officials based on their politics. It violates the civil liberties of individual American citizens.

The FBI’s highest officials now routinely mislead Congress. They have erased or altered court and subpoenaed evidence. They illegally leak confidential material to the media. And they have lied under oath to federal investigators.

The agency has become dangerous to Americans and an existential threat to their democracy and rule of law. The FBI should be dispersing its investigatory responsibilities to other government investigative agencies that have not yet lost the public trust.

https://realrawnews.com/2022/08/irs-to-open-sniper-school/

An administration whistleblower speaking under condition of anonymity for fear of reprisal told Real Raw News on Tuesday that the IRS will spend some of its newfound wealth–$87bn—on opening a “sniper school” where treasury agents will be trained to use the M24 Sniper Weapons System (SWS,) a military and police version of the popular Remington Model 700 series rifles.

According to the source, the IRS has already scouted a location in Utah and plans to break ground once the criminal regime ratifies the unconstitutional climate, health, and tax bill, which earmarks over $80bn for “Internal Revenue Service Improvements.” Those improvements include hiring 87,000 new agents, a percentage of whom will attend sniper academy.

The IRS currently has 78,000 employees divided into two categories: pencil-pushing desk jockeys and enforcers, or what it calls Special Agents, the latter of which persecute hardworking citizens for no other reason than to enrich the federal government’s already overflowing coffers. In other words, we’re not only paying the IRS to hire more tax collectors to tax us, we’re also paying the IRS to arm itself against us. To be clear, the IRS does have a sniper division, approximately 150 persons who were taught to shoot alongside FBI agents at the FBI Academy, in Quantico, Virginia. But IRS Commissioner Charles Rettig, our source said, has promulgated the notion that his agency needs an independent facility so agents can be trained to combat the “rising threat of Sovereign Citizens and Trump supporters that oppose taxation.”

Rettig, our source added, wants to increase the number of long-distance marksmen by thirtyfold—or about 5,000 sharpshooters.

“He [Rettig] personally scouted several potential spots for his sniper school, and he picked an area near the Bonneville Salt Flats, about 140 acres of land. He wants to start building ASAP and he’s put in a purchase order for 3,500 rifles. Once completed, it would greatly increase the IRS’s offensive capabilities. He’ll have tons of cash to spend at his discretion,” our source said.

And he’s right, for the regime’s 800+ page bill makes no stipulation as to how the IRS spends the $87bn, only that it’s spent on “IRS improvements.”

Within hours of Kabula Harris’ tie-breaking v**e on the bill, Rettig came under scrutiny, with constitutionalist lawmakers asking whether the IRS would increase audits on average-earning citizens. Rettig lied, of course, saying Americans earning less than $75,000/year would not face an increase in audits, and said instead that money would go toward replacing an antiquated computer system and depleted workforce.

“Outright lies,” our source said. “The IRS is looking to cement itself as a militarized arm of the government, just like the FBI.”

Air-activated hand warmers contain cellulose, iron, activated carbon, vermiculite (which holds water) and salt and produce heat from the exothermic oxidation of iron when exposed to air. They typically emit heat for 1 to 10 hours, it usually takes 15–30 minutes to start to heat up, although the heat given off rapidly diminishes after 1–2 hours.[5][6] The oxygen molecules in the air react with iron, forming rust.

Lightfoot's plan to sue Chicago's gangs has stalled

A while back, Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot put forward a proposed bill that she named the “Victims’ Justice Ordinance.” If enacted, it would authorize the city to take gang members to court and sue to seize their assets. This was a plan that was seen as being crazy enough that she couldn’t even get all of her fellow Democratic aldermen on the City Council to go along with it. When she attempted to schedule the v**e, some of the members moved to put it on hold. This has been one of Lightfoot’s pet projects, and she sent a letter to all of the aldermen to better “educate” them on the proposal. As of this week, the measure is still on hold and the Mayor is taking her case to the public. (Chicago Tribune)

Days before aldermen were set to v**e on Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot’s controversial plan to sue gang members as an anti-violence strategy, she texted an impassioned message to several City Council members seeking their support.

“We must send a strong message to gangs that we will take away their profits which last year was over $26M. I would not press this without the appropriate checks and balances and as you know, we will have to file in court, and a judge will determine whether we have met our burden of proof,” Lightfoot said in a text message, which she apparently copied and pasted to several individual aldermen in February.

“To me, this will be an essential tool we need in the crime fight. I hope we can count on your support. Let me know if you have any further questions.”

I really would like to give some credit to Lori Lightfoot here because at least she’s trying to do something to break up the power of the gangs and disincentivize gang membership. That’s more than most big city mayors can say, particularly in Baltimore. But with that said, the plan makes very little sense. What she has managed to do, however, is unite nearly everyone in law enforcement and the municipal government for once.

Nobody seems to like this plan. The police unions have scoffed at it as a waste of time and resources that will produce little or nothing. Democratic aldermen have warned that trying to do this will only end up “seizing property from grandmas who aren’t involved in gang life.” Lightfoot herself has admitted that the city will need to be able to demonstrate to the courts that City Hall can “meet the burden of proof” and have the appropriate standing to bring such suits.

I’ve no doubt that the cops (and the Mayor) have a good idea as to who the main players are in Chicago’s gang scene. The problem they have is catching them in the act or finding charges that will stick. But in order to take an action like the one Lightfoot is proposing, you need to know more than just the identity of the target. You have to be able to show the “ill-gotten” nature of their wealth and you also have to be able to identify where their wealth is located so it can be seized.

That last part is probably the biggest hurdle. “Businesses” such as illegal drug dealing, prostitution, selling vehicles that you carjack, and the black market gun trade all tend to involve cash t***sactions. The higher-ranking and presumably wealthier gang members near the top of the food chain probably don’t have all of their assets tied up in a Citibank retirement investment portfolio where the government can get hold of it.

If Lightfoot and the rest of our big-city mayors want to get the gang violence problem under control, I doubt they will do it with a series of lawsuits. The only thing the gangs will understand is a significant disincentive to continue their operations. You will reduce gang activity when you make the cost of doing business too high. And that’s going to involve locking up gangbangers for such extensive sentences that they will probably never see the light of day again. It’s going to take police intervention into their turf, breaking up their activities and, if it can’t be avoided, putting some of them six feet under if they try to shoot it out with the cops. But as long as nobody is interfering in their “business” too much, that business will continue to thrive and people will continue to die. I honestly don’t know how this has gone on for so long without these municipal governments realizing all of this.
