All fishing expeditions driven by blind h**e in the hope of finding anything to use to get Trump. The needs of the country be damned. All that has ever matter to Democrats is getting Trump.

All that mattered the past few years to Republicans were phony hearings into Hillary Clinton about B******i and her email server. Despite the efforts of Trey Gowdy and colleagues, nobody connected to her went to jail. Although Trump has not yet been indicted, there were a number of his people who did go to jail.

The title is not only dishonest its foolish. And I don’t watch Fox News

If you do not watch Fox, you do not have a say in this discussion. I have watched that station to see both sides of the political world, and Fox is not fair and balanced in any way. It has also affected my family to the point where we agree to disagree. My normally empathetic parents frequently rail against a raise in the minimum wage, Medicare for all, and the regulations imposed by the government on businesses. Those regulations are for the safety and health of the citizens. We will be realizing those consequences in the near future with food safety as the Trump administration will now allow the meat industry to police itself. Fox fans do not realize that they are being fed propaganda that is really against their best interests.

Rape allegations against Donald Trump, Trump's support for Judge Roy Moore, Trump's connections to Epstein, and Tucker Carlson advocating sex with underage girls is quite telling about our president and his spokespeople. They like them young - I guess this is okay when you are wealthy.

Donald Trump is truly a piece of human waste.

[quote=Larry the Legend]Serious question: The Federal government was partially shut down for more than a month; did anything change in your life as a result?

My life did not change, although a young woman I work with had a discussion with her parents about lending them money because her father was working without pay. Both parents work, but life in New York is expensive and they were starting to get worried. If the shutdown affected your Social Security payments, how long could you pay your bills before you started to worry? (No sarcasm intended)

[quote=trucksterbud]Caught in the act, the DimmoCrapps now have to start squirming out of this quagmire.

No, Donald Trump caused the shutdown because Limbaugh and Coulter called him a wimp. He is on video claiming that he owns the shutdown and will not back down. The end result - he backed down.

No, I would not sign a petition asking for the removal of Nancy Pelosi. She is the person in this situation who is acting like a mature adult. Trump's ego is the problem - if Coulter and Limbaugh had not goaded him at the last minute, he would have signed the same bill and avoided the unnecessary shutdown. The Democrats are willing to discuss border security, but believe building a wall does nothing for the country's safety, but rather is a selling point to the r****ts who support Trump at his rallies.

That sounds a lot like Trump yelling "Lock her up, lock her up."

What’s wrong with this picture?

Trump gave up his Christmas vacation trying to close a deal with the Dems to fund the border wall. The Dem’s went home to celebrate.

Trump has offered concessions, but the Dem’s have flat out refused to consider them. They refuse to negotiate.

While the President remains in the Oval Office To Close the deal, the Democrats bask in the sun on the beaches in Puerto Rico.

Their obvious lack of concern for America and the Federal Worker is appalling!

You guys talk tough, but if the shutdown meant that your doctor would not treat you because Medicare was unable to reimburse them for your visit, or your Social Security check was not mailed to you for two, three, or four months, you would understandably be upset. The president is the problem, and does not know how to escape the problem he caused. He is embarrassed, but too stubborn to compromise.

BBZ: thanks for info on go-fund-me, but WHY did u have to editorialized h**e comments about Trump may seize money for defense fund and his being a crook? You may believe that but nobody has proven it. So your motives aren't pure, just unbridled h**e.
We just came thru Christmas. Watch "A Christmas Carol" and reform as Stooge did.

I don't h**e anyone, but Donald Trump is a terrible president and a worse human being. The reason I think he would attempt to take the go-fund me money is that he has spent money from the Trump Foundation money for his personal use. I find it rich that the people who are still calling for Hillary Clinton to be further investigated and jailed are willing to defend Donald Trump. He is the subject of many investigations and will be out of office before the end of 2019. Since Pence will probably be gone as well, we should get used to the idea of President Pelosi. I am not a Pelosi supporter, but I will be glad to have a sane adult in the job.

I haven't heard any gloating in quite a while. How's it coming along...have you hit a hundred million yet?

An attempt to crowdfund money for a proposed border wall between the U.S. and Mexico is nearing $19 million in 18 days.
The GoFundMe started by Brian Kolf*ge has raised $18,884,102 as of Friday morning. I am surprised that this much money has been raised, but I would not be surprised if Trump somehow managed to have it t***sferred to his legal defense fund. He is a con man and a thief, and his supporters are quite gullible.

Well, it won't be too much longer before Mueller will start naming names and indicting Donny Two-Chins and his criminal, although not too bright children. I suspect it will be in about two weeks, and the sane part of our country will get a very special Christmas present.

Whereas most people have a universal understanding that facts should generally be accepted true until disproven, Trump supporters see scientists, doctors, reporters, historians, mathematicians, statisticians, and economists, not as arbiters of fact and fiction, but as partisan hacks, all on George Soros’ payroll, spewing anti-Trump lies, designed to make America crummy.
Therefore, any presentation of factual information to a Trump supporter will instantly trigger a massive reflexive recoil, as though you’ve just tossed an angry rattlesnake in his lap. His response will be instantaneous, indignantly pointing out the Soros connection that you missed, and laughing out loud (LOL’ing) at your childish naivety and lack of understanding the real world. Using facts is not only a no-win tactic, we normals actually lose the argument because, obviously, we’re chumps who don’t understand what’s really going on.
The second rule of talking sense to Trump supporters is that you cannot discuss Trump’s promises or policies and how they will adversely affect the Trump supporters. We normals see Trump’s signature health care and tax bills, and his billionaire, CEO, banker, and corporate lobbyist cabinet picks, for what they are, political tools designed to help the wealthy and their corporations, at the expense of the poor and middle classes. We see his many broken promises and outright reversals as meaningless campaign rhetoric intended to sucker v**ers into thinking Trump really cared about their tiny little lives. But Trump supporters don’t really know, much less, understand what his policies are. Heck, even Trump doesn’t know what they are, admitting last week: “I don’t stand by anything.”

To his supporters, Trump truly moves in mysterious ways. No matter the travail, they remain ever faithful, wearing their inexplicable steadfastness as a badge of honor. Biblical Job didn’t get an explanation from God for all his heartaches, so why should they be so presumptuous?
So with customary conversation starters off the table, you may feel limited, like the Trump supporters themselves, to exclusively using ad hominem attacks. But I’d like to expand your universe: Use their “alternative facts” against them. Just make up some bizarre, “alt-t***h” concept, tell your target that Trump said it, and make him defend that.
Heck, find queasy quotes from Hitler or Stalin, say they’re from Trump, and demand an immediate, full explanation. Obviously, Trump supporters never look anything up, so have fun.
