[Jesus said:] "Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it. Matthew 7:13-14

That tells me that there are an awful lot more people than some who have rejected God and are not in heaven.

Yes, this is indeed a chilling admonition and I could have said most rather than some. But I don't want to sound too dire. πŸ˜•

So what you are saying is that everyone gets to heaven? If so, you are a heretic.

BTW, I believe that you are misinterpreting the passages you referenced based on your post. To be succinct, the first is about the rapture and the second is about trial by fire.

The trial by fire is a good description of the process of purgation and the rapture is a good description of the result of purgation. Remember, purgatory is not a place but a pr********n. We want to look our best when we enter in to Our Father's house. By doing so we express our love.

I enjoy our exchange of views Parky. I am sure neither of us is totally correct, but we love the Lord and He meets us where we are and guides us to our Loving Heavenly Home. May God Bless you and yours abundantly! And may you have a Holy Lent.

God does not wish the death of any sinner. But God is Love, and love cannot be forced. It requires a free will choice. So I am sure that, as is the case of satan and a third of the angels, there are some people that have rejected God. These people are not in Heaven.

Everyone gets to know Jesus! When he died for all sinners he went to Sheol to deliver the news! No one left out! Read the Bible sometime

Exactly! Sheol, the Place of the Dead! Many people who have lived and died without knowing Jesus, through no choice of their own, will meet our Savior there! And we will all spend one -on- one time with Him. Billions and billions of us! With no waiting line!

Parky's in very good shape I think. But we all benefit from each other's prayers. I will pray for all of us tonight. Please pray for me as well.

But no one can pray you into heaven once you are deceased.

Right, only Jesus can escort you to the Father.

Jesus said, "No one comes to the Father but through me."

Sorry, if you're not saved before you die it's too late, no being purged of sin after death. And no reincarnation either. If so, show me where it is in the Bible that you can reincarnate or be purged of sin after death. Read Hebrews 9:27.

So it's safe to assume that everyone alive is a sinner. Has the stain of sin upon their soul. Some more so than others, but still...Right?

I understand that a Protestant view is "once saved, always saved". OK, but the problem is after you are saved you can and do still sin. But you cannot take your sin to heaven, you have to dump that wretched baggage and be cleaned off. This is purgation. Washed in the Blood of Christ. It may be instantaneous if our repentance is perfect and our heart contrite, or it may take awhile if we were very bad and not ready to let go.

But what is "a while" in eternity where there is no time?

No such place as purgatory, Catholicism

Purgatory is not a place, it is a process. Being washed in the Blood of the Lamb, thus purged of sin.

They 'existed' long before jesus was born, so did they and all other humans wind up in hell until the

Or is the bible just literature or an allegory, created by the fertile imaginations of men, seeking rewards

Jesus gives the answer to this in His parable of the sheep and goats. To paraphrase, when judgement day comes, those with no knowledge of Jesus will ask, 'Lord, when did we see you and do these things for you, or fail to do these things for you?'

And Jesus will answer, 'The way that you have treated others is the way that you have treated me. '

Do you understand what is being discussed here? A woman's right to choose what happens to her.

A young girl - maybe 10 or 12, who was raped even though she's barely big enough to get her feet in the stirrups of a gynecologist's exam table who might be forced to carry her rapist's child.

A young mother who is told her desperately wanted baby is dying in utero or will die in agony soon after delivery and being told by her doctor that he/she can't do anything because their state says "no exceptions."

Is a woman with a tubal pregnancy supposed to wait until the tube ruptures and it becomes a life threatening emergency before a doctor is allowed to do something?

A young mother who learns she has cancer when four months pregnant with her third child is told treatment will save her life but probably k**l the baby. Or she can delay treatment and possibly leave her first two children without a mother. Doesn't SHE, not the State, have the right to determine the best course for hrrself and her unborn fetus?

There are way more examples but the bottom line is that the decision to have an a******n is never made lightly. And NO MAN should ever take the right to make that decision away from ANY woman.

I am pro life but I agree with your stance concerning the situations you presented. There should be exceptions to the laws against a******n.

But when pregnancy is the result of careless intercourse, infanticide should not be allowed.

Our astronauts have not been to the moon in 50 years. Wanna know why? Because secretly NASA has been warned off the moon from the beings who control the moon the earth and every human being on this planet. I knew for a fact they wouldn't make it there and IF THEY DID they wouldn't come back to earth the same as they left. They would be so shocked by all they saw and who they saw. Looks as if they were warned away AGAIN!!!

If this is true, we must offer to share OUR moon with them in exchange for trade or else drive those interlopers away! πŸŒœπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ πŸ‡¨πŸ‡³
