The l*****t narrative has become so pervasive, so unchanging that it bears all the symptoms of a "mass psychosis". Carl Jung calls it a "psychic epidemic". (I'd venture to say it is now a p******c.)

According to the psychologist Carl Jung the greatest threat to civilization lies not with the forces of nature, nor with any physical disease, but with our inability to deal with the forces of our own psyche. In Civilization in T***sition Jung states that this proverb “is a sad yet eternal truism” and our wolf-like tendencies come most prominently into play at those times of history when mental illness becomes the norm, rather than the exception in a society, a situation which Jung termed a psychic epidemic.

A mass psychosis is an epidemic of madness and it occurs when a large portion of a society loses touch with reality and descends into delusions. Such a phenomenon is not a thing of fiction. Two examples of mass psychoses are the American and European witch hunts of the 16th and 17th centuries and the rise of totalitarianism in the 20th century. During the witch hunts thousands of individuals, mostly women, were k**led not for any crimes they committed but because they became the scapegoats of societies gone mad:

The totalitarian experiments of the 20th century are a more recent, and a more deadly, example of a mass psychosis. In countries such as the Soviet Union, N**i Germany, North Korea, China and Cambodia it was a collective detachment from reality and a descent into delusions and paranoia that permitted the rise of the all-powerful totalitarian governments that destroyed the lives of hundreds of millions:

When a mass psychosis occurs the results are devastating. Jung studied this phenomenon thoroughly and wrote that the individuals who make up the infected society “become morally and spiritually inferior” they “sink unconsciously to an inferior…intellectual level” they become “more unreasonable, irresponsible, emotional, erratic, and unreliable,” and worst of all

“Crimes the individual alone could never stand are freely committed by the group [smitten by madness].”

What makes matters worse is that those suffering from a mass psychosis are unaware of what is occurring. For just as an individual gone mad cannot step out of his mind to observe the errors in his ways, so too there is no Archimedean point from which those living through a mass psychosis can observe their collective madness, or as Jung writes concerning the psychic epidemic that swept through Germany under Hitler’s rule:

“The phenomenon we have witnessed in Germany was nothing less than [an] outbreak of epidemic insanity. . . No one knew what was happening to him, least of all of the Germans, who allowed themselves to be driven to the slaughterhouse by their leading psychopaths like hypnotized sheep.”

It should be noted that those who are confronted with the possibility they are victims of a mass psychosis will often resort to a psycho-emotional defense mechanism called "projection". The delusional state they are in will invariably manifest as denial.

Jung describes what he calls "psychogenic triggers", as these are usually what lead to the mass psychosis.

Four paragraphs of accusations and not one actual crime even mentioned.. Just he's the worst . He's a t*****r. Why? What exactly has he done to be branded a t*****r? How was he the worst President? Did you see the blow right beside the officer's head that shattered glass and rattled the frame? That was not a bare fist.

They had numbers of reinforcements pouring in. They stated they supported the police and as there had been others hurt they did not want these officers to be hurt but they would be coming through, although his buddy standing next to him said, ""F" the Blue!" So maybe it was a bit confusing. Seems like those officers did move to the side as more officers appeared and they rotated positions or something. More breaking through ensued and Babbit was reported elsewhere to have been hoisted up in pr********n to gain entry through the violently broken door, previously intact and barricaded by furniture and posted with security directing them to desist.

Tragic.

Combatant was "armed" by the violent mob who in just that instant insisted they were arriving with reinforcement numbers and "they would be making a path through those officers!" They expressed the clear desire the officers remove themselves so as to not be hurt.*

Then, gun drawn, (announced by at least three shouting voices) an officer assumed a shooter's stance for 10-15 seconds. Check the time markings in video below from first shouted warning to point of gunshot.

An illegally trespassing, property destroying, violently threatening (against the specific officers present) protester then was seen to begin to encroach through a broken window glass. It's on video widely available on line. Choose your own link.

The reason the officers had been so restrained in their responses up to that point, seemed welcoming/passive/accommodating, even, was suggested to me yesterday and seems valid. They were overwhelmed by the numbers and should k*****g begin, knew they would end up dead, leaving Congressional staff unprotected. With the discovery of pipe bombs throughout the city, unclear how/when they were to be detonated, by what signal and means, a good guess would be they would be remotely detonated if/when widespread shooting started!

Make s**t up, show me which part was made up? Did she not come through a *window* does that seem like a normal entrance way to you? Was that not a sign of attack? Yeah it was. She made herself the the victim by attacking. Now, the cop was doing his job, there to protect the capital and the people in it. How would you feel if crazed people came running up to your home shouting to hang you from a tree, or death to you? Then came crashing through your window? Would you invite them in for tea? Or stand back with your gun pointed at them if they came through, you'd shoot.
