I have no particular bone to pick with Trump. I disagree with a number of his policies, but I also give credit where credit is due. His public persona is annoying but it’s scarcely a scandal. As for his tweets...oh brother.
I see where he is suspected to be the whistle blower. I was looking for a reference to Schiff staff releasing his name. In other words, confirmation.

Of course he has the same rights. However, both Bush Jr and Obama were held in contempt of Congress when they refused to comply with subpoenas. Trump could face the same consequences.
Prior to 2008, these charges were related to documents. 2/14/08 both Myers and Bolton were found in contempt of Congress for failing to comply with a subpoena to testify in connection with the firing of a number of US attorneys. 6/28/12 Holder was found in contempt of Congress for failure to testify in connection with Operation Fast and Furious. 5/07/14 Lerner faced the same charges related to the IRS controversy. Finally, most recently, 7/17/19 Barr and Ross were charged in relationship to the effort to include a citizenship question to the census.
Instead of protecting his people, he is placing them at risk of charges. They’re the ones who will pay the price.

Seventy percent of Americans said President Donald Trump was wrong to pressure Ukraine’s leader to pursue probes into his political opponents, according to a new survey, and more than half of respondents indicated he should be removed from office.
An ABC News/Ipsos poll published Monday found that 51 percent of those surveyed believed Trump should be impeached by House lawmakers, as well as convicted by the Senate. Six percent said that while Trump’s actions were wrong and that he should be impeached, he should not be ousted by the Senate.
An additional 13 percent also deemed the president’s push for foreign investigations of his rivals to be wrong, but believed he should neither be impeached nor convicted by Congress. A quarter of respondents, 25 percent, said Trump did nothing wrong.

The way I see it - Trump, and those who blindly support him are the embarrassment -which will soon end. Seems that everyone but you and Trump know that he was not "duly and legally" elected. Do you even know the three qualifications the EC is supposed to determine the president by? 1) an American citizen aged 35 or up, 2) a person with the requisite experience to lead, and 3) a person of good character. Just because republicans are satisfied with 1 out of 3, does not make him the l********e p*******t by any stretch of the imagination, at least not to true patriots.

The conspiracy theories and possible flaws of the past administration are not of relevance here -the past administration is not currently ruining the country -you may as well bring up the flaws of Andy Jackson or Jefferson. The only 'beneficial' thing that I have heard from Trump thus far was his "proposal" to eliminate the student loan debt of our Wounded Warriors -which still remains to be seen. No, I don't see Trump's $1 trillion dollar gift of a tax break for the elite 1% as beneficial to the majority. So, no, I don't see any of these great things you claim Trump has done for the American people. What I do see is an adulteress, lying, narcicisstic, r****t and discriminatory con man preying upon the public, with the aide of complicit charlatans who have sold their souls for dirty money, fame, and pseudo power.

I can't help but wondering what you will do when Trump is no longer in office, but no worries, I know what I and the other sane Americans still here are going to do.
