We have an economy, which is teetering on the brink of collapse. We have an invasion of illegal intruders, who pose an enormous economic burden on the populace, in welfare, medical, housing, schools and job stealing. These people form a pool of easily exploitable labor, which drives wages down or stagnates any wage increases to match inflation. In most cases these people work "off the books" so their labors go untaxed. Most of them remit portions of what they earn to the families in the countries they came from and this reduces demand in this country which in turn causes businesses to go bankrupt. This is evidenced by chain store closures and further loss of American jobs. Their presence is contributing heavily to the demise of the American middle class.

Is it fear or simple recognition that this distortion in the tenor of our lives must cease? These people were fleeing bad economic conditions in their own countries but they are recreating those same bad conditions here. Charity does not demand that we destroy our nation to provide for the masses who wish to enjoy our way of life. In t***h, they only wish to enjoy the freebies and benefits we provide while retaining their own way of life.

The label "Xenophobia" is of a class with all the other phobias, beloved as pejoratives, by Socialists. “All sound and fury signifying nothing”. The threat is not domestic so what should be feared?

Have you and I ever disagreed on political points? If so, I don't remember it, so I guess God, Family and Country are the main things in our reasoning. It has always amazed me the way left leaners have come up so much against all those things. Of course, I leaned pretty far to the left till I learned from the 1972 Democrat National Convention that the left had taken over the Democrat Party. They left me at that time, not I left them, because they nominated an avowed socialist for President and haven't nominated even one that wasn't too left for me. If they had nominated Bernie last year instead of that "horrible woman" they would have done it again. However, both of them were too socialist for me.

Yep, you and I are very extreme because we believe in God and want him returned to our governmental belief. The Socialists have always believed in k*****g the Christian family and have been trying to use that to destroy our country.
