It is no wonder that you are an apostate, you didn't get the message, did you? You are preaching h**e.

Evangelical Christians do not force anyone to follow Christ. Acceptance of Jesus is a choice and a matter of the heart, it is not an intellectual exercise, not something you do just for kicks. However when Christians are vilified and condemned for their resolute defense of their faith, like when a gay couple confronts them and demands service, a cake, a bouquet, a catering, wh**ever, the Christian baker knows full well it is a set-up. There is probably 100 bakeries for every Christian owned bakery, yet the Christian business is targeted, not because the gay couple wants a cake or a bouquet, but because they want to destroy them, simply because the Christian understands the consequences of sin and will not succumb. 'Tis a subtle and particularly salacious form of persecution.

Declare His glory among the nations, His wonders among all peoples.
Psalms 96:3

Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.

That you are not one of the h**ers is commendable, unfortunately there is a large group of h**ers who identify as being christian, they are not at all friendly or civil towards gays and Muslims, are they? And it is up to you as a good christian to do everything in your power to quell that perception.

Any "good Christian", who as human is wracked by sin, must h**e the sin, not the sinner. We can love people, yet condemn their action, just as we must condemn the actions of ourselves when not in line with Gods Word. The world today does not wish to be convicted of their sin, and therefore must demonize those who would bring it to light. There is no grey, there is right and wrong, period. We all know this, but some choose to rage against it, and those who carry the message, because it exposes sin for what it is.

So how is evangelical fundamentalism any different from one to all? With fundamentalism, if you veer from the path so much for your soul. Are you trying to tell me that god won't curse the kids and grandkids of those who criticizes Trump? I've already been told I was to be cursed for not believing in god is it a reach to assume I will be cursed if I don't kiss the ass of one Donald J?

Every soul is given freewill, whereby we may curse ourselves, or not. Perhaps a curse in the outcomes of l*****t policy may effect those you leave behind. Not believing in God, will grant you your wish of being eternaly separated from Him and all He embodies. As for our President, God Bless him, God has used imperfect vessels to achieve his will before. You are so focused on your hatred for this man, that you are blind to the bigger picture. Stamping you feet and pointing out all his flaws, will not lessen yours in any way.

Speaking with televangelist Jim Bakker last week, “Christian leader” Mary Colbert explained that Donald Trump is part of God’s Master Plan and that anyone who opposes the President will be cursed.

And then, just for good measure, she extended the curse to the critics’ children and grandchildren.

The End is Nigh: Ten Reasons Why (continued...)

10. Convergence: While each generation could claim one or two from this list, none but ours could claim all of them. The sad fact is that this list is hardly comprehensive at all. There are so many more things pointing to the soon return of Christ that written space here does not allow for. Daniel was told that the end would come as a flood, and a flood-indeed it is (Daniel 9:26). However, it is not only the convergence of signs that is noteworthy; there is also the convergence of believers all coming to the same conclusions.

At no point in church history, has so many believers from so many spectrums all been so convinced that we are living in the last days. I believe this speaks to the Holy Spirit’s witness to us all who are awake and watching. Granted, most of the mainstream and aberrant churches and movements (Emergent, Hebrew-roots, Social Justice Gospel, Prosperity Gospel, Seeker-Sensitive, etc.) are sound asleep; however, the watchers are not. We may disagree on some of the finer points of eschatology; but we all generally agree that these are what the Bible describes as the last days.

With this in mind, I would like to share the good news of Salvation in Jesus Christ. It’s as simple as ABC:

A is for Admit you’re a sinner
Romans 3:23: For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard.

B is for Believe
Romans 10:9-10: If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved.

C is for Call
Romans 10:13: For “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

Your response struck me, because it is so true. For myself, I find it very difficult to find t***h beyond God and His Word, upon which my values are placed. Watching any news, sifting through the internet, you find pieces of t***h, and attempt to form a realistic picture, but it remains incomplete. Gods Word is the only absolute, against which to measure the information. All this stuff that is happening are just events on a trajectory God has mapped out. Did so and so lie? Yes, of course, they all lie. Will the bad guys win? Yes, for a time...but in the end they will see it has always been a battle lost. God already won. The begining and end of this mess is before him as we speak.

They believe President Trump’s Middle East policies will cause the second coming of Jesus.

Evangelical Christians hold varied interpretations of events that will usher in the second coming of Jesus and equally varied thoughts on what part the United States might play in its unfolding.

Generation after generation has believed that it is witnessing the End Times -- and today's evangelicals are no different.

In their support for President Donald Trump, there is a keen awareness that his policies could draw nigh the end of times and facilitate Jesus's return, and there is no need for Trump to be 'one of them' if God intends to use him.

Pastor Paul Prather explains:

“For American evangelicals, there is a term of praise for President Trump that falls like a question mark on most everyone else: ‘You are Cyrus,’” writes Samuel Goldman in a recent New York Times op-ed. “That’s what the Christian pro-Israel activist Mike Evans promised to tell President Trump after his announcement that the United States would move its embassy to Jerusalem.”
...

He says top evangelicals — circles in which I decidedly do not travel —support Trump because they believe him to be the 21st century embodiment of the Old Testament monarch Cyrus.

In their minds, Trump’s willingness to go against the grain means he can support biblical mandates and even fulfill biblical prophecies that may usher in the second coming of Jesus Christ.

In the Old Testament, the Persian king Cyrus allowed the Jews to return from exile and rebuild their temple in Jerusalem, thereby proving that God can work His divine plan through ungodly men.

And some evangelicals appear to hold Trump in the same light.

For them, Trump’s appointment of conservative Justice Neil Gorsuch to the U.S. Supreme Court, for instance, and his startling, controversial decision on the U.S. embassy, fits the Cyrus bill perfectly.
...

Many evangelicals expect Jerusalem to become the center of the world’s attention during the period leading up to Jesus’ return. Some say the Jewish temple will eventually be reconstructed there. Some say a cataclysmic world will may erupt in the process.

But Trump is not the first to be viewed as Cyrus, nor is he likely to be the last:

In the 1790s, a New Jersey minister imagined President John Adams as a potential Cyrus.

In the 1890s, it was President Benjamin Harrison. More than 400 prominent citizens, including a Supreme Court justice, a future president, and tycoons J. P. Morgan and John D. Rockefeller, beseeched Harrison to carve Palestine from the Ottoman Empire and give it to the Jews. Their petition’s cover letter explicitly compared Harrison to Cyrus.

In 1953, President Harry Truman did them one better. Introduced as the man who had helped create the state of Israel, Truman replied, “What do you mean, ‘helped create’? I am Cyrus!”
