There were many at one time who thought the world was flat, but that didn't make it so. You are quite correct in pointing out the media and the Democrat leadership views Obama as legitimate, but that doesn't make it so. A couple of the most telling things surrounding the issue are:

1. The phony long form birth certificate. Why issue a fraudulent document if the real one existed? This leads to point two...

2. By making legitimate documents open for verification, it would provide a golden opportunity to make all those who question Obama's eligibility look like complete jackasses for bringing it up. Instead, as you pointed out, the media and Hollywierd circled the wagons around their golden boy by painting the patriots who stand up for the Constitution as extremists and nut cases. This, in no way, makes the case Obama is indeed eligible to hold the Office of the Presidency. This should make all fair-minded people of all political stripes cringe as their laws are being bastardized instead of being upheld.

Do you think the Left, Hollywierd and the media will look the other way if Ted Cruz throws his hat in the ring for 2016?

My final point is the original "birthers" were those who questioned John McCain's eligibility under the Constitution because he was born in Panama on a U.S. military base to TWO American citizens.

Good post! :)

It just goes to show you there are some like us who still think the Constitution means something while others think it is only a collection of old suggestions. What they fail to realize is they are making their God-given inalienable rights subject to whim and political expediency - something which our Founders would find terribly abhorrent. Bottom line: There are two Americas: One where citizens believe in the Rule of Law and limited, accountable government and the second in which the citizens are those who worship the almighty, all-knowing and most benevolent god of Big Government whose world is founded on relativism and fraud.

This article was originally published in the Capitol News Daily on 11Oct13, and the link is provided at the end of this article:

Today is a rainy, gloomy day in Washington.

And as John Boehner is up at the White House negotiating the unconditional surrender of House Republicans, I unexpectedly ran into Senator Ted Cruz outside of Washington’s Omni Shoreham Hotel.

Cruz was smiling and said he was invigorated by the outpouring of support for his campaign against Obamacare.

Of course, you may be wondering why Cruz is happy while the Republican leaders around him are groping for a lifeline from Obama and a way to settle the dispute.

The reasons are simple…

Strength Through Experience

First, Senator Ted Cruz isn’t like most politicians.

He was raised by a father who escaped from Castro’s revolution – a revolution that started by instituting socialized medicine, and then moved on to confiscating private property.

Initially, Castro was seen as a leader who could break the endemic corruption of the Cuban government and free his people. But the corruption never ended. Instead, Castro twisted the system, but kept the most insidious traits of the earlier Fulgencio Batista regime.

This family experience has made Cruz impervious to the usual pressures of Washington.

He isn’t really concerned with the media calling him names. Like Megyn Kelly. She launched her new show on Fox News by asking Senator Cruz, “What’s it like to be the most h**ed man in America?”

Cruz is impervious because he believes that America stands at a crucial crossroads. He doesn’t want what happened in Cuba to occur here.

So he isn’t playing for re-e******n or popularity. He’s attempting to build a coalition to retake America.

Passion the Founding Fathers Would Be Proud Of

Second, Ted Cruz knows the U.S. Constitution by heart. Literally. He was part of a group of high school students who memorized the document from beginning to end.

As a young man, he traveled through Texas, giving speeches about the Constitution and the free enterprise system.

When he talks with passion about the 1st, 2nd, or even 4th and 5th Amendments of the Constitution, his passion is similar to the Founding Fathers.

And during his recent 21-hour filibuster against Obamacare, he took some time to read at length about the signers of the Declaration of Independence. When you hear Cruz talk about these documents, you know immediately that he isn’t a man to be turned from his commitment.

So it remains to be known exactly what Speaker John Boehner will do to end the stalemate with Barack Obama. My only prediction is that he’ll eventually cave in to the pressure of the media and D.C.

John Boehner is very much a member of what I call the “Permanent Class.” They’re the ruling elite who always look to grow and expand the power of government.

But wh**ever Boehner, Senate GOP Leader Mitch McConnell, and House Majority Leader Eric Cantor do to bring Congress back into compliance with the wishes of the Permanent Class, Senator Cruz has won the debate.

Obamacare is a failure. And wh**ever D.C. does to fix it won’t likely work. And everyone in the country knows Cruz is the leader with enough courage to actually repeal it.

So along with launching the first broadside of the 2014 battle for Congress, Cruz has laid the groundwork to run for President of the United States. With that, he’s nicely positioned to be the anti-Washington candidate in the 2016 Republican P**********l sweepstakes. (Heck, since he’s such a perfect candidate, the e******n should just be canceled.)

Cruz should be smiling.

Your eyes on the Hill,

Floyd Brown

The reason the "Permanent Class" and other do-nothings look at Cruz with derision is because he has something they don't: Courage to stand up for what is right. In Washington, such a characteristic is so rare, sightings of Elvis flying in a UFO are more common.

Now the hard part begins: How do we educate the low-/no- information v**er this is the kind of statesman we need to turn this country around? In a country where half the e*****rate is nothing but a bunch of Charlie McCarthys, this will be a daunting task as most of their sources of information are media outlets of the DNC - the fine bunch which made Detroit a t***sformation city from prosperity to bankruptcy, created the welfare plantation and brought the country the thought police.

That just isn't going to happen. You may be frustrated explaining freedom, common sense and the free market forces on products and services, but to this crowd, it is as easy as explaining how to play a trombone to a goldfish. Don't waste your time.

How can that be? As I point out to anyone who cares to listen, these people worship the almighty, all-knowing and most benevolent god of Big Government. Common sense, history and practical experience mean nothing because this god can do so much more. All you need is the faith the god of Big Government can make your life easier and better and it will happen. Now don't delve into the history too much because you'll find results in Detroit, failures in Social Security, Medicare, the postal service and more. In fact, if you are looking for an example where the god of Big Government has been a whopping success, you won't find any.

Another aspect of the worshippers of this god is they will explain how completely inept you are. In fact, besides having a teenager in the house, you won't find anyone better at telling you how stupid you are. They know how to spend your money better than you, raise your kids better than you, run your business better than you, and you will find, thanks to them, you can't even pick out a suitable toilet or a light bulb for your house.

Before you get too frustrated with these people, understand you are not communicating on the same wavelength as they. They think with their hearts while the rest of us think with our minds. You would find it easier to explain the free market to a Chinese national who can't speak a word of English. Don't ask them to do their homework, they know it all already. Don't suggest books to read as they only like revisionist history and books you can use crayons with. To be honest, in this forum (and others), I have only run across a few liberal minds who were willing to listen and be respectful in their replies.

Still, be of good cheer! There is always that chance when a liberal gets screwed hard and long enough will he re-think his positions. It is that point he will probably become more conservative and vocal than you and me. It may take a long time as those merry folks in bankrupt, devastated Detroit are still thinking they are living large off the government.

History will show the ONLY good that will come out of his tenure in the White House is he will serve as a bad example of what a president should be like.

Additionally, if there was a American Citizen's Test given before a person was allowed to v**e, Obama would have never made it. Some of you have read this before, but many of the questions could be:

1. How many states are there?
2. What colors are on the American f**g?
3. What is the capitol of the United States?
4. Independence Day is celebrated on what day?
5. Who was the first president of the United States?
6. How many stars are on the American f**g?
7. Who is the current Vice President?
8. How many branches of government are there?
9. Who was the President during the Civil War?
10. How many colonies banded together to form the United States?

Sadly, I would guess about 25% of the e*****rate would not qualify to v**e and I would say at least 98% of them would v**e Democrat.

That means no unemployment extensions.
That means no Federal Reserve.

The problems we have are because people got away from the Constitution. If everyone agreed to get back to the Constitution 80% of these problems would disappear.

Life must be so easy for a merry soul like you because you are never burdened with thinking for yourself. I am sure thinking must make your hair hurt. You have to be one of those dim-witted sheep that receives his marching orders from MSNBC and masturbates with images of Obama and Hillary on your bedroom ceiling. It was people just like you that filled the streets of N**i Germany cheering Hitler, cried in the town square when Kim Johng Il died and volunteered to be a human shield for Saddam Hussein.

It is abundantly clear you have no desire to learn anything while I have tried in vain to prod you into researching the facts for yourself. It is non-thinkers like you that enable the reprobates on the Left who are all too happy with destroying our country and culture.

Congratulations - normally I try to be gentlemanly and be nice. You have caught me at a time when my tolerance for abject stupidity is low and it gave me the inspiration to unload on you.

Do both of us and this forum a favor - don't reply to this or any other of my posts. Still, I hope your holiday is an enjoyable one.

Sorry, but your post is typical liberal drivel. It doesn't matter to you and other liberals how many times we say it is Obama's POLICIES we have a problem with and his ELIGIBILITY with regards to the Constitution's requirements - you guys will always fall back to race. I can assure you about 99% of conservatives and Tea Party members could give a damn what Obama's heritage is or anyone else's. It's completely immaterial to holding the office or any office for that matters.

Just for the sake of your own personal enrichment, go to a Tea Party meeting and see how much r****t talk you hear. No one tolerates it, so you probably stand a 100% chance of hearing NONE. Go to a Republican meeting and see how many times you hear race brought up in a condescending manner. Again, it is not tolerated so you stand nearly a 100% chance of not hearing any. Everyone is welcome. If they weren't, I would not be part of these organizations.

It is only after you attend these two meetings will it dawn on you why people like me think liberal references to race, as you have put forth, sound so incredibly asinine to us. Either you will go to the meetings to see for yourself or you will validate once again some words of wisdom my Uncle Bill gave me a long time ago: "Be careful with the t***h as there are many who don't care to hear it."

Obamas Official Birth Certificate!

Read it and weep!

Sorry, but this is the very copy Sheriff Joe and the typography expert claims are fraudulent.

To be honest, when I first saw Obama parade his long form birth certificate on national TV, I believed everything was finally put to rest. It was only later I found out the document he put forth was a fraud. Still, even though he produced the document, and even it if it were valid, it still doesn't fit the definition of what a natural born citizen is: A person born to TWO citizen parents on American soil or military installation.

Additionally, as I think about the possible candidates for the next p**********l e******n, I cannot in clear conscience v**e for Rubio or Cruz or anyone else who is not eligible under the Constitution no matter how much I like him/her. The law applies to everyone, right?

Like most Americans, I don't like being lied to or played for a fool. Obama has yet to say anything which isn't a lie, a twist of the t***h or to be an artful dodge. My righteous indignation rises and I think, "Who in the hell is he to constantly lie and subvert the oath of office he swore to uphold?" Although I didn't like Slick Willie, he is a small time piker compared to the Marxist buffoon we have now. We do deserve better. The t***h should not be optional. Obeying the law would be refreshing. Usurping the Constitution should not ever be tolerated. Legislating from the Executive Branch should be impeachable.

If you care to do a little research, read the book, "We've Been Had" by James R. Keena. It is footnoted and annotated for your further scrutiny. There is a real possibility your whole perspective may change - unless you're afraid of the t***h. Either you will find you have been duped by this regime and the Democrat operatives or you will see your current positions validated. I'm willing to bet you will be POed after the shock wears off. The book is probably in your public library or can be picked up from Amazon.

All I want is the solid evidence you base your claim on that Obama is a "natural born citizen" as prescribed by the Constitution. I find it incredible you and other detractors have seen actual, certified evidence that casts no doubt to Obama's eligibility to hold the office of the President. If so, I want to see it as well. You may as well add the Democrat Governor of Hawaii who went looking through archives to find those records ostensibly found. You may wish to include of copy of your work to Sheriff Joe Arpaio as he and a legion of investigators have determined the last birth certificate is a fraud. I am sure they will be thrilled to find out you guys have found the real one that has been so elusive!

You mentioned "birthers" - Is that a reference to those Democrats who still doubt John McCain's eligibility to hold office? That's right, Sparky - the Democrats aligned with Hillary said McCain was not a "natural born citizen" because he was born in Panama - to TWO American citizens on a U.S. military installation. Maybe you found Obama's real daddy who was an American citizen? The reason I ask is because Obama, by his own admission, said his father was a Kenyan, not American. Obama admitted he was a DUAL citizen at birth which is not a natural born citizen as required by the Constitution. Maybe this is all moot because you have undeniable proof he is a natural born citizen which will make laughing stocks of people who don't trust him or the government. There was a time in American history where this type of person was a patriot - of course in those days there wasn't Hollywood or MSNBC.

I don't like to put titles to people, but gullible, blind and naive come to mind. Prove us all wrong - I simply can't wait for the breaking news on television. Dave--

It is obvious you and I have the same position with regards to ObamaCare and addressed those concerns raised by RetNavy already. Perhaps he is too regimented to think for himself and needs his "superiors" to make decisions for him? My position is to empower people to make the right choices with government addressing a few issues that impedes competition and/or access to affordable care. When you think about the real reason the government was formed in the first place - to guarantee your liberties - you can see it does have a valid function by helping remove restrictions, but let the free market with free citizens making the best choices with their money for their own family. Empower people, not government may be too "radical" for some people.
