Homelessness to Become a Crime

New measures are being taken to put an end to homelessness in big cities and all across America. The White House is putting forth policies in which are favored among advocates and involve law enforcement. Some of the efforts have seen roadblocks as red f**gs go up, but the charge is still moving forward.
The move may end up coming from an executive order before all is said and done. President Trump said he wanted the streets cleaned up, and they will get cleaned up one way or another. Advocates feel the executive order is inevitable.
The goal is to give the police the resources to remove homeless encampments and strip housing funds from the cities which allow encampments. The White House’s Domestic Policy Council is working together with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development to stop cities from receiving funds from the government if they do not want to clean up their streets and use the money for what it is meant to do, put the homeless in homes.
Housing Secretary Ben Carson went to Houston, Texas, and met with officials to get the ball rolling there first in hopes other cities will follow in the footsteps. Carson toured an emergency shelter and a former Harris County jail facility during his stop. HUD officials have also been looking into real estate in efforts to the federal responses to end homelessness. The government is working toward turning former federal buildings and old correctional facilities into homeless shelters.
Washington officials stated HUD made a list to start off with 24 of the biggest cities with the biggest problems of homeless people sleeping in the streets. President Trump has made it his business to embarrass officials who have done nothing and allow people to sleep on the streets. Most of these cities are on the West Coast.
Houston is one on the list which is in the middle of the nation and has made great progress over the years to cut the numbers of homelessness in half. Even though Hurricane Harvey did extensive damage, the numbers are still going down. Dallas, Austin, and other cities have not made much of a difference.
Eva Thibeaudeau, CEO of Temenos, a development corporation which supports housing units in Houston stated, “I hope that what [Carson] takes away is that if you really turn all your resources to permanent housing and ending homelessness, instead of managing the condition of homelessness, it can have dramatic results.”
She continued, “We shifted a lot of dollars out of short-term, temporary, high-barrier projects, and reallocated them all toward permanent solutions. That really is the reason that our homelessness has been driven down.”
Benjamin Hobbs, who is a special assistant to Trump for Domestic policy, stated, “An executive order might not materialize for weeks (if ever). But such an executive action would reinforce the dynamic in Texas, where the conservative governor has sought to overrule the work of liberal leaders in Austin to legalize tent encampments, for example.”
The whole point of stopping encampments is to keep the cities clean. It is not that the people are trash, it is a fact they have trashed the location where they stay. Businesses cannot prosper if a person is sleeping at the doorway of the store. Making it illegal sounds heartless at first, but President Trump and Ben Carson are working together to put these people in shelters or homes. Federal funds have been put in place by the millions of dollars.
Liberals and sanctuary cites are the only ones who support encampments where people literally live on the sidewalks and streets. Their homes consist of cardboard boxes and tents. The grounds are covered in the trash left behind by those who live in these conditions.
Once the system is put in place, it would be at the discretion of the person choosing to live on the street to remain in poverty. They would have to either move into the shelters or the housing developments which are put in place to house them or face fines which they cannot afford to pay or incarceration.
Maria Foscarinis, executive director of the National Law Center on Homelessness & Poverty, told USA Today, “We’re thrilled that the court has let the 9th Circuit decision stand, so that homeless people are not punished for sleeping on the streets when they have no other option.” This is a typical Liberal who would rather see American citizens continue to live in poverty.

Homelessness is not a Crime!!!! There are Major numbers of People who have been forced to live on these Streets and they have no where else to go or any one to help them. I know when i came back from Vietnam,back in the days, I was forced to live on the streets because i could not contact my Family!! for almost 2 years. The Liberals need to get their acts together and help these poor people find a home. Now what do Y'all Think of these poor Homeless People is their any hope for them?

Taliban Announces a Cease Fire — Want Peace Agreement with USA

The Taliban announced a temporary cease-fire in Afghanistan on Sunday, Dec. 29, in an effort to encourage a possible peace agreement with the United States, according to The Associated Press.
The statement was released by the Taliban’s ruling council, but officials from the insurgent group did not announce when it would begin.
For one week four members of the negotiating team met with the ruling council to discuss the cease-fire measure, which is estimated to last 10 days. In the meantime, the Taliban chief is expected to approve the peace agreement once it is drafted.
Since September 2018, the United States has held talks with the Taliban, in the last round of talks envoy Zalmay Khalilzad proposed a final cease-fire.
As OAN has reported, if the agreement is approved, it would lead to a withdrawal of all U.S. troops in Afghanistan and would end the military commitment that the United States has had for 18 years.
The announcement of a cease-fire came amid an escalation of tension over an attack led by the Taliban last week that left dozens of people injured.

Taliban extremists ambushed a checkpoint in northern Afghanistan last Tuesday. According to Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid, who officially claimed responsibility for the attack, the Taliban captured four Afghan troops.
“As a result of this attack, seven Afghan Army soldiers died and three others were wounded,” Afghan Defense Ministry officials said in a statement, adding, “Three National Directorate of Security (NDS) staff were also injured.”
President Donald Trump suspended the talks in September after a surge in violence in the Afghan capital, Kabul, led to the death of an American soldier.
However, the talks were resumed after President Trump made a surprise visit to U.S. troops in Afghanistan in late November and then announced that the Taliban was ready to talk and agree to reduce violence in the territory.

Is Trump Sending 14,000 Troops To The Middle East Or Not?
Tensions are on the rise in the Middle East. There’s a lot of news about 14,000 troops headed over to the Persian Gulf. The question is, is it f**e news or not? Mark Esper, the Secretary of Defense, is the first one to deny the reports of proposing an increase of US military presence in the area.
The denials are causing people’s eyebrows to raise. While he’s denying that 14,000 are being sent, he’s wording the denial in such a way that many wonder if there are still a large number of troops being sent – just not as many as 14,000.
A statement issued by the Pentagon explains that the department of defense has repeatedly stated that they were never “discussing or considering” the idea of 14,000 added troops into the Middle East. Esper is quoted to say that reports identifying this are “flat out wrong.”
Esper has specifically clung to the denial of 14,000 troops as opposed to ruling out any increase whatsoever. This is why so many people are holding onto the idea that there will be an increase in troops. Now, it’s a matter of finding out just how many could be deployed.
Another reason why people are talking about a planned increase is due to congressional testimony made by Undersecretary of Defense for Policy, John Rood. He answered a question regarding proposed troop increases that left the possibility wide open. He was referring to deterrence for Iran and “dynamic adjustments to our posture.”
Rood has said that the threat situation is being evaluated and the secretary has the ability to deploy additional forces if he chooses based on what’s being observed over there. Additionally, based on what is being seen with the threat picture, there may be the necessity to adjust the posture of the force.
The Wall Street Journal was the one that first started of the story, reporting a 14,000 troop figure. Trump was the first to label it as f**e news. It wasn’t long after that CNN reported that troop deployments could be considerably smaller – more along the lines of 3000 or 4000.
There has been a lot of discussion about sending troops, ships, and other military assets to the region as a way to deter Iran. However, such action has faced substantial resistance from the Pentagon, particularly with the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Gen. Mark Milley. Milley along with other Pentagon officials find the proposal to be problematic due to conflicts with the way that the Pentagon wants to shift from the Middle East to East Asia.
According to Rood, there is a legit new intelligence that would require an increase in US presence within the region as a way to deter Iran. This includes the possibility that Iran has brought additional short-range missiles into Iraq which leads to a bigger Iranian threat to US forces as well as the interests within the region.
If there is going to be the possibility of Iranian aggression, it would make sense to deploy more troops – though there are many reports as to how many troops would actually be deployed. With Iran already deploying missiles in Iraq as early as 2018, additional missiles would not be a surprise.
General Kenneth McKenzie, the commander of US Central Command, is the one calling for more troops as he is responsible for the Middle East region as a whole. McKenzie is also a proponent of “dozens” of added ships being included in the proposal.
There is a significant amount of discussion and arguments regarding how easily Iran can be deterred. McKenzie suggests that it is going to be more difficult than Rood has acknowledged.
Milley has also been extremely vocal in warning against creating a war with Iran, particularly because it could disrupt the strategic shift being made to emphasize the great power competition that’s taking place with Russia and China. He suggests that it’s best not to deal simultaneously with the Middle East as well as Russia and China.
Right now, it’s simply a matter of waiting for additional intelligence to come in. Meanwhile, Trump and a number of others are looking to avoid a military confrontation with Iran if at all possible.
It’s considered highly unpopular, and during a p**********l e******n year, it will be avoided at all costs. It’s simply a matter of waiting to find out whether Iran is going to back down out of Iraq or if a military presence will simply be the only way to deal with the problem effectively.

Dems Allowing I******s to Take Control of the Country
In a place where the minority rules, the i******s will prevail. All over the United States, millions of i*****l a***ns are stealing jobs from people that have the right to work them.
These nasty i******s are not protected as workers under the National Labor Relations Act. The person actually has to be a legal resident of the country to receive this kind of protection from labor laws. But right now the deceptive Democrats are looking for a way to change the NLRA.
Nancy Pelosi loves i*****l i*******ts. She has brought up a bill that might just allow the i*****l i*******t to rule in America.
One person from the Taxpayer Protection Alliance has brought to light that “the dangers of Protecting the Right to Organize, or PRO Act. Under current regulations, workers seeking to unionize can use signed cards to demonstrate that a clear and commanding majority favor unionizing.
At that point, an employer can either accept the unionization or offer workers a secret b****t e******n. The latter can prevent coercion by unions and protect workers’ v****g privacy. Some workers who do not want to unionize will sign cards to give their fellow workers the opportunity to v**e. E******ns are overseen by the NLRB to ensure they are fair and free.”
Right now, i*****l w****rs cannot take such actions. But if nasty Pelosi has her way i******s can begin suing their employers and get away with it. The psycho Democrats have been trying to do away with the NLRA for some time.
In 2009, they tried and failed to pass a bill to restrict v****g rights of workers and it would have paved the way for i******s to unionize themselves. And now they are trying to pass a more subtle version of their failed attempt to high jack legal workers by introducing a bill to favor the i******s stealing from Americans.
The new bill is being seen to be worse off than what was v**ed down in 2009. The ProAct would give i******s rights that hard-working Americans do not even have. The way that the ProAct would work would “It would make i*****l i*******ts eligible, for the first time, for back pay, consequential damages and ‘an additional amount…two times the amount of damages awarded.’
I*****l i*******ts would also be able to sue the employer in federal court if the NLRB fails to award these remedies within 60 days.” The Democrats are trying to strip away the given rights of Americans.
It is also being discovered that the Act would subject “owners and employers to civil penalties up to $100,000 from accusations by i*****l w****rs. This puts them in the crosshairs for accusations of firing them over their union status rather than being in the country illegally.

Some workers who do not want to unionize will sign cards to give their fellow workers the opportunity to v**e. E******ns are overseen by the NLRB to ensure they are fair and free.”

In May, a whopping 144,116 i*****l a***ns were arrest trying to cross the border, either illegally in deserts and rivers, or by trying to sneak in through legal ports of entry without legal authorization.
In November, that fell to 42,649 arrests for i*****l i*********n, according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection — a nearly 63 percent decrease.
In fact, illegal border crossings have fallen for six straight months, the CPB announced in December.
What happened six months ago that made the border crisis slow down?
Donald Trump took action. And since Congress wouldn’t lift a finger to protect our country, he did it alone.
Trump made three huge decisions.

First, he stopped letting people go if they claimed they were a family.
In April, he signed an executive order demanding that the Department of Homeland Security and other agencies “expeditiously end ‘catch and release’ practices.”
The order gave the agencies 45 days to come up with a plan to end the practice of turning i******s in custody loose.
45 days after April is June—six months ago.
“The safety and security of the American people is the president’s highest priority, and he will keep his promise to protect our country and to ensure that our laws are respected,” said then-White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders at the time.
She said Trump also called on “all on congressional Democrats to cease their staunch opposition to border security and to stop blocking measures that are vital to the safety and security of the United States.”
Now, we see the results.

“We have all but ended catch and release,” said acting Customs and Border Protection Commissioner Mark A. Morgan earlier this month. “If you are a family from the Northern Triangle countries, you are no longer released into the interior of the United States simply because you have a child.”
Guess what happened next? The number of Central American i******s posing as “families” nosedived, down 85 percent since May.
Almost 90,000 “families”—many of them totally unrelated, or possibly human traffickers and their victims—illegally crossed the southern border in May. The number broke records for illegal “family” crossings into the U.S.
“We have probably removed a couple billion dollars from their illicit criminal scheme,” said Morgan.
That spared women, and especially young children, inhuman treatment at the hands of criminal gangs that run the i*****l i*******t smuggling routes in South and Central America.
Human smugglers marked the i******s in their caravan with spray paint, treating them “literally like a piece of cattle,” Morgan said.
He brought pictures for Congress to see and said he hoped “when you see these pictures…that you have the same level of disturbance” as he and Trump had.

The second decision Trump made was to build the Wall. Since Congress kept stiffing him, he found the money from other parts of the budget.
“Our goal at the end of 2020 is 450 miles,” Morgan said this month.
A third turning point was when Trump reached an agreement with the government of Guatemala. Now, anyone who crosses through that country must apply for asylum there instead of making their way to the U.S.
Those who pass through are deported back there. Even though they’re given the option of citizenship and a job in Guatemala, most just go home.
The Trump administration hammered out a similar deal with Honduras and El Salvador, which haven’t yet taken effect.
“For those in the region who may be weighing the option of taking the dangerous journey north, I’d strongly urge you against it,” said acting DHS Secretary Chad Wolf.
The bad news is, the criminal cartels have shifted tactics.
