Why don't you liberal i***ts get off this site, because you have nothing to contribute. We all know, Obama is a c*******t, who is destroying our basic freedoms we have enjoyed in this country. All he does is lie, lie, lie. He needs to be thrown out of office. Maybe we need to do what the Egyptions did to their leader.

May be we like to be with our kind.

I***ts that is.

Most of the money they spend would likely stay in this country.

I say let them buy what ever is on the open market & pay what ever it takes.

I only have knowledge of building that I had done work at bought by the Chinese.

People I do work for bought a building for $800,00 & sold it to a Man from China for more than & $1,600,000 after having it for not much more than 2 years & having made only minor repairs.

When they over pay it makes other properties worth more

Then they spend a large sum to do major repairs.

I go past the building often & it seems that it is under rented.

I would be willing to bet that it will be back on the market in the not to far distance future at a big loss.

Did you even open that link I supplied? I have to say no is the proper answer since you don't realize that they stand in 59th place.

I fail to see why I should reply to you about a post I made to emarine.

Yes I did check that link but I found it questionable & said so in an other post. I feel it was a hasty put together story & didn't state the correct amount of the Koch's contributions.

I have seen other stories that had them giving much more.

I am not in the habit of offering information from stories I read in the media.

For the most part I just offer my thoughts & feelings.

Judge me as you will.

Is there a chance that you could say something about the amount of inflation that was caused by unions?

Having been around & seeing good times & not so good times.

When there are rising prices there is no inflation until the little people start to get a wage increase & then of coarse it becomes inflation.

Each time we go through a down turn the little man is asked to give up wages or possibly be laid off.

After the monied interests raise their rates & fill their pockets they may hire people back & may even give some raises.
But most times the working man ends up farther behind. Then gets blamed for causing inflation.

Your point is well made; however, it still does not overshadow the amounts of money donated by the unions.

WalMart is considered the Darth Vader of retail and the Koch Brothers of politics; however, they are NO where near what has flowed from unions and Wall Street to the other side.

So it is fine with you that big business can give unlimited support to your side but if a few of the shrinking unions donate money to the side I support it is bad.

It is now legal for corporations to donate money to e******ns.
They use stock holders money or money they could use to pay more wages. People that may not want to support the same party.

Our country was at it's strongest during the time unions were at their strongest.

Now unions are less of a a factor & the economy is in a less than healthy way.

But of course there are those that think like the Koch Brothers. That those like them should have their way with changing the laws we live with to suit their own ends.

While the few union workers would like to have their wages let them keep up with inflation should have no competing voice.

Is Obama Opening Up America For A Chinese ‘Red Dawn’ Invasion?

Would it surprise you to know there were large contingents of Chinese troops on American soil last year? Not until a video was leaked of Chinese troops training at Fort Shafter, Honolulu, Hawaii did the Obama administration come out with the obvious lie that they were taking part in a “drill.” The drill—dubbed GridExII—simulated the detonation of a massive nuclear warhead high above the skies of the United States, creating a giant EMP that took out the U.S. electrical grid, communications, and banking services.

While it is important to know of things like this. One should be care full of using it to create fear.

It is possible we learned as much about the Chinese as they did about us.

I'm not on here to debate. I just wanted to share with everyone that I lost my husband on the 11th. He died of a heart attack from being septic. The blood infection went to his heart and caused him to have the heart attack. It's been a horrible week. Anyway I haven't been in the forums lately but I'll be back one day.

I am sorry to hear about your husband.

A loss like that never leaves completely. But please when the pain eases return & share your thoughts with us.

your just scratching the surface on Koch money.... citizens united was their brain child...why? Charles Koch is one of the smartest people on the planet... who do you think owns and funds half the right wing internet blogs... if it sounds patriotic Koch owns it and if he does not own it he funds it... Obama is a peon compared to Charles Koch, and everything Koch does in his own best interest ... keep digging into Koch you will be amazed.

I guess that every one has to pick & choose who they support or look to for support. I just seem to think that any one that wants to tie their tail to the Koch's kite will in the end go down when the kite falls.

We will have a little chuckle when they waste more of their money on the next e******n.

No where did I make such comments. My comment was strictly based upon the statistics shown.

By the way, not all individuals "voluntarily" provide money to the union coffers. There are states that require individuals to have union dues paid whether the employee chooses to join a union on not.

Further, unions contribute, as well, to e******ns where they have no presence, ie. "Right to Work" States.

Both are equally culpable in e******n influencing.

Well if you got to a site that wish's to paint a picture less harsh of some one this site did it.

I put no more faith in the numbers posted there than I do with many post on this site.

I avoid posting things from other sites that paint what I think in a better light for what I think.

I like to post what I think & I think that story was just a story.

Group some together to make it look like your people are not as bad as others. The Koch brothers support many groups that are not open & subject to reports like this.

Have you given any thought to just what is behind the Polar Vortex?

It seem that the Arctic is warmer this year.

Could that have caused a change in our w*****r p*****n?

I think the folks in Florida will find that "stand your ground" means something entirely different than what they had in mind. Disney World will have to re-package itself as the American Venice. Mickey and Minnie will need to learn how to master guiding a gondola...

You are right in we need forward thinking for answers to what could well need to be done.

Don't go to far with this great mind on my part.

It is just that I have been around the block a couple of times & seen many things. It hasn't been a large block but with the inter-net it opens your eyes to so much that is out there.

I try to look for the good in things first rather that looking for the bad first.

Even if we lack agreement with many it is nice to know that we are not alone.

Excellent summary of the problem. However, considering the human tendency for self deception, I think we will be extinct in a few decades. About 98% of organism on earth have become extinct and it is because they have failed to adapt. I don't know for sure the climate scientists are right, but I do know the odds and going with them is the way to bet.

It is not that we need to make unreasonable changes.

But we all should think about what is going on & perhaps make as many little changes that would help.

Well thank you.

I try to put down my thoughts as clear as I can. But because each of us uses words differently & our views are different it is hard to get what each of us means.

To me you put your thoughts across in a way that I can understand. Maybe it is because I agree with them for the most part.

I would not put to much faith in the numbers put out.
I don't have the true numbers, but from I have read from other sources the real number is much higher.

I would not put the Koch Brothers on any list for saint hood.

They stand for much that is wrong with America.
I get the impression that they take p***e in what they are doing. They seem to show smugness about it.
