But Democrats are ignoring the facts.

47 percent of residents in America’s largest cities predominantly speak a foreign language.

In Los Angeles alone, nearly 60 percent of residents speak a language other than English at home.

This latest policy is one of many by Trump.

He’s focused on securing our borders.

And that has Obama furious.

Our broken borders have cracks big enough to let millions of i*****l a***ns leak through – but a revolutionary new study says there may be twice as many people unlawfully living in our country than we ever knew.

Most news outlets say there are between 11 and 13 million i*****l i*******ts in the U.S. But experts now say that’s wrong by almost half.

Researchers from Yale and MIT have crunched the numbers and came up with what they think is a more accurate count.

The real number, they say, is at least 16.7 million…and possibly as high as 30 million! They average those two numbers out to 22 million i******s.

“Our original idea was just to do a sanity check on the existing number,” said one of the study’s authors, Edward Kaplan. But instead he and co-authors Jonathan Feinstein and Mohammad Fazel-Zarandi. “Instead of a number which was smaller, we got a number that was 50 percent higher.”

30 million?! To put that in perspective, there are only 28 million people in the entire state of Texas.

Kaplan said “the fact that there are actually more people here than we thought before might explain” how i******s take so many jobs from American citizens.

It also explains why the Democrats have made “abolish ICE” their campaign slogan, and giving i******s amnesty – and signing them up to v**e – their top priority.

Let’s crunch a few numbers ourselves.

I*****l i*******ts who support Democrats outnumber Republicans almost nine-to-one, according to a 2012 study from the Pew Research Center’s National Survey of Latinos.

“For them the issues of immigration are much closer,” said Mark Hugo Lopez of the Pew Hispanic Center.

Only 4% say they’re Republicans. In fact, Hispanic i******s are four times as likely to support “some other political party” as the GOP – and you can bet those “other parties” aren’t the Constitution Party or the Conservative Party of New York State.

Hispanic support for Republicans varies a little bit, but it always remains low – and ultra-low among i*****l i*******ts. A 2016 Pew study said that 70% of foreign born Latinos identify as Democrats or lean Democratic, versus 18% Republican/lean Republican.

Either way, Democrats look at i******s as a huge jackpot of potential v**ers…even if they only affect one, lone state.

Texas is the only large state that regularly v**es Republican – just like California used to.

Even if just a fragment of the estimated 22-30 million i******s cast b****ts, they could outv**e every conservative Republican in the Lone Star State, make Texas a “blue” state – and send democratic-socialists to the White House for the next few decades.

Experts say the fact that there are twice as many i******s in the country could show v**ers the magnitude of the problem…and spur President Trump to fix it even faster than he is.

That’s got Open Borders lobbying groups scared to death. The Yale/MIT study’s fuller count of i******s is “counterproductive to the public’s very real need to understand the true scope of i*****l i*********n and how best to address it,” according to the Migration Policy Institute.

Statistics are statistics, and this study may very well be wrong. Steven A. Camarota of the Center for Immigration Studies, a pro-enforcement think tank, said “there’s a margin of error around” the number 12 million, but it’s probably closer to 14 million.

One thing is certain: The U.S. has a major problem securing its border, letting millions of unvetted people from all over the world pour into the country, take Americans’ jobs, and k**l our very finest citizens like Kate Steinle.

But pro-amnesty Democrats are so desperate to get back into power that they’re willing to look the other way, even if the problem is twice as bad as anyone thought.

And Republicans think any day Donald Trump is talking about immigration is a day the Republicans are winning.

The Democrats know the situation is dire.

In fact, Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer sent a letter to all Democrats begging them to ignore immigration and only talk about health care.
Two Interviews Highlight The Contrast

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo met with reporters and declared that the migrant mob would not be allowed in the United States.

“The United States also has a message for those who are currently part of this caravan or any caravan which follows: You will not be successful at getting into the United States illegally no matter what,” Pompeo stated.

“I repeat, the caravan will not cross our southern border under any circumstances,” the Secretary of State concluded.

Americans compared that to statements from Democrat Senator Benjamin Cardin of Maryland.

Cardin appeared on CNN and claimed the United States needed to “help” the migrant mob.

“America’s strength is in our values,” the Maryland Democrat stated. “We have been a leader internationally standing up for people at risk. The people of Central America, many are at risk. If they qualify for asylum, we believe there should be a process by which that case could be heard in a fair manner, protecting the individuals.”

He concluded, “[T]he people that are in this caravan, many are in desperate situations. [If] it’s humanitarian need, the United States should be trying to help. Doesn’t necessarily mean they can come and live in America, but we certainly should not be using the language that the president is in regards to the caravan.”

Democrats closing message in the home stretch of the campaign is that there should be open borders and the United States should “help” 7,000 migrants gain asylum in the country.

If Democrats fall short of winning back the House, this will be a big reason why.

President Donald Trump's effort to repel the "caravan" of migrants and political-asylum seekers from Central America heading north will be bolstered by more than 5,200 additional active-duty troops at the southern border, military and Customs officials said Monday.

Several hundred troops from Fort Knox and Fort Campbell in Kentucky are already on the move into southern Texas, said Air Force Gen. Terrence J. O'Shaughnessy, commander of U.S. Northern Command.

"By the end of the week, we will deploy over 5,200 soldiers to the southwestern border," he said.

O'Shaughnessy said the plan is to deploy the additional troops first to Texas and then to Arizona and California in support of U.S. Customs and Border Patrol.

The troops will be armed -- "they are in fact deploying with weapons" -- but their mission will be to back up CBP in law enforcement, he said.

Should the plan be fully implemented, the additional 5,200 troops will join 2,000 National Guard members already in place, for a total of 7,200 on the border -- far exceeding the 2,000 U.S. troops in Syria and the 4,500 in Iraq.

The additional troops will augment the customs agency's own stepped-up efforts to secure the border, said CBP Commissioner Kevin McAleenan.

"You should return home and apply for the appropriate visa," he advised those in the caravan. "You will not be allowed to enter the U.S."

At a brief joint news conference with McAleenan at the Ronald Reagan Building in Washington, D.C., O'Shaughnessy did not state where all of the troops would be coming from -- apart from the mention of Forts Campbell and Knox -- but said the deployments were expected to last until at least mid-December.

He gave no estimate on the expected costs for the active-duty military of the mission that has been dubbed Operation Faithful Patriot. The National Guard troops were sent to the border under a previous mission, Operation Guardian Support, which was strictly a support and surveillance role.

It was not immediately clear how the mission of the active duty-troops might differ from that of the National Guard. When the National Guard troops deployed to the border in April, the Pentagon stated that they would conduct "aviation, engineering, surveillance, communications, vehicle maintenance and logistical support."

Defense Secretary Jim Mattis told reporters traveling with him to Prague on Sunday that the rules of engagement for additional troops who might be sent to the border were still being worked out, according to media reports.

"The rules that the troops will be under -- I don't have that at this time," Mattis said.

O'Shaughnessy said the active duty troops would follow "posse comitatus" rules of federal law, which expressly bar members of the military from being used for law enforcement without the approval of Congress.

O'Shaughnessy said the additional troops would include units of the Army Corps of Engineers, which would assist in efforts to "harden" border crossing points with barriers.

He also said the troops would be bringing with them about 150 miles of concertina wire, which could be strung across points considered vulnerable.

"We're bringing in military police units. We're bringing in strategic airlift," O'Shaughnessy said.

He added that the deployed force would also include three combat engineering battalions and three medium-lift helicopter companies.

"As we sit right now, we have three C-130s and a C-17 that is ready to deploy with [Customs and Border Protection] personnel wherever they need to be" to stop illegal crossings, he said.

The initial caravan group, now believed to number about 3,500, was still several hundred miles away from the border and was expected to shrink. McAleenan said many would likely take up Mexico's offer of shelter and asylum.

However, McAleenan said a second group of several thousand migrants was forming at the Guatemalan border with Mexico and were intent on joining the initial caravan.

"We've got to be prepared for the potential arrival of a very large group," McAleenan said.

Trump has made the progress of the caravan and the threat that thousands of migrants would come "pouring over the border" a constant theme at his rallies leading up to the Nov. 6 midterm e******ns.

Hours before the latest troop deployments were announced, Trump sent out a tweet: "Many Gang Members and some very bad people are mixed into the Caravan heading to our Southern Border. Please go back, you will not be admitted into the United States unless you go through the legal process. This is an invasion of our Country and our Military is waiting for you!"

Last week, in an interview with ABC News, Vice President Mike Pence did not respond directly when asked whether Trump was considering a complete shutdown of the southern border.

"What we need to do is secure our border," Pence said. "The president will take steps to do that. But we also need to reform our laws."

Hundreds Of US Troops Headed to Border with Mexico to Deal With Migrant Caravan

Hundreds of U.S. troops are set to make their way to the southern border to help Homeland Security and the National Guard as a caravan with thousands of migrants pushes north with the goal of crossing into America, a U.S. official confirmed to Fox News on Thursday.

The official said roughly 800 soldiers will be sent to the area to offer “logistical support,” including providing tents and vehicles.

Trump admin will apparently not renew program to fight domestic terror

WASHINGTON — The Trump administration, which already canceled a grant for a group that fights w***e s*********t terror, now appears unwilling to renew the anti-domestic terror program under which it was funded, despite recent high-profile attacks like the Pittsburgh synagogue shooting and data showing a spike in attacks on religious minorities.

The Obama administration launched the Countering Violent Extremism Grant Program in 2016 to fight domestic terrorism. Managed by the Department of Homeland Security, the program was given $10 million to distribute.

In the last days of the Obama administration, DHS awarded the money to more than two dozen groups around the country to counter violent extremism of all kinds, including right-wing extremism. Data from the Global Terrorism Database shows there was a spike in attacks on American religious organizations in 2016-2017.

The money paid for the development of new approaches to prevent terrorism before it begins. Programs that develop training materials for law enforcement, mental health counselors and schools to better identify warning signs of extremism so that terrorism can be averted were designated to receive funds.

Other programs built relationships, like a project that pairs Boston Police Department officers with young Somali-Americans. Another program in Illinois was developing the best ways to intervene with people who are leaning towards extremism before it's too late.

But weeks after President Trump took office, the funding was put on hold.

When the funds were finally distributed six months later, most of the original grant recipients received the money awarded them under Obama, with some receiving even bigger grants. At least four grants were cancelled, however, and three recipients confirmed that they had declined the grants, all citing political disagreements with the Trump administration. The Trump administration added seven new recipients, four of them law enforcement agencies.

The only group that specifically fought w***e s*********t ideology, the Chicago-based Life After H**e, was among those excluded from funding. The group had been slated to receive $400,000.

The organization is a national network of former w***e s*********ts who speak to young people to dissuade them from following s*********t ideology.

The executive director of Life After H**e, Sammy Rangel, said he was told by his contacts at DHS that the decision to rescind the funding for his group last year was made by DHS decision makers high up the chain. And he said staffers at DHS still make referrals to his organization connecting it to communities who would benefit from its message.

Rangel said the publicity from not getting the DHS grant led to online donations that doubled the $400,000 they had expected but never received from the federal government.

"I think the public felt like there wasn't any help coming down the pipeline for these issues and they saw the value in what we were trying to do," he said.

According to a March 2018 DHS progress report on the program, the "vast majority of projects are making substantial progress."

But now it appears the DHS has no plans to continue the program past the end of its funding in July 2019. Recipients have been told the funding was a "one-time" funding opportunity.

Up until Tuesday, the website for the DHS Office of Terrorism Prevention Partnerships suggested that a funding announcement was upcoming but a DHS spokesperson now tells NBC News the website was out of date and changed it to remove any reference to future funding.

"Our position is that they need to make sure that enough resources are going to the threat whether it is Islamic extremism or w***e s*******y," said Heidi Beirich, who leads the Southern Poverty Law Center's Intelligence Project. She says the threat from right-wing extremism is clear, pointing to the Pittsburgh attack, in which 11 congregants were k**led. "There's an incident every month to a month and a half," she said.

Bryan Tuma, the assistant director of the Nebraska Emergency Management Agency who oversaw one of the terrorism prevention grants says it's his understanding "there has been no new funding specific to combating violent extremism available through DHS." Tuma's agency is using the funds they received last year to develop threat assessment tools so that public health agencies and schools can better detect signs of extremism.

Bill Braniff runs the University of Maryland's START center that studies the causes of terrorism. His organization did not receive funds but he says the decision to end this kind of funding represents a lost opportunity.

Braniff says while some of the new approaches are untested, they're worth the investment. "We spend $100 billion dollars on counterterrorism without any effectiveness data, so the critique that we cannot invest $10 million on new approaches because we do not yet know what works is flawed."

At Monday's White House press briefing, Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders was asked what could stop the k*****gs like the Pittsburgh synagogue shooting "from happening over and over."

"You know, I think if we had a good answer to that, I think everybody in the country would support it. If anybody knows the answer, I think certainly this administration would be all ears," she said and continued, "The president spends every single minute of every single day looking for the best way to protect the safety and security of Americans and we're going to continue to do that."

DHS did not respond to a request for a comment as to why the grant program is apparently not continuing.

Did you read what happened earlier this week in Afghanistan? A suicide bomber set himself off in Nangarhar Province, east of Jalalabad on Tuesday and k**led 14 people at an e******n rally. At least 43 were injured in the attack, according to the New York Times.

Last month, a suicide bomber attacked a peaceful protest in Nangarhar Province, k*****g 68 and wounding 165 others.

The next day, another suicide bomber attacked a wrestling gym in Afghanistan’s capital, Kabul, k*****g 30, including journalists and aid workers, and injuring 91 more.

In June, a suicide bomber k**led 13 people and injured 25 more outside one of the government ministries in Kabul. This happened a week after another suicide attack in Kabul, which k**led 14 Muslim clerics who had gathered to issue a fatwa against suicide bombings, according to The Independent.

Yes, according to the New York Times, Prince, the king of private contractors during the Iraq war, has returned to the battlefield to save our 17 year war in Afghanistan for us!

How is he going to do this? Well, for starters, he’s got his eyeballs firmly fixed on the tax dollars we’re currently spending in Afghanistan.

According to the Senate Subcommittee on Federal Spending Oversight, we are spending at least $45 billion a year in Afghanistan. About one billion of that amount is spent for “economic aid” to Afghanistan, and $5 billion is being spent on “Afghan forces,” according to the report. That leaves $13 billion we’re currently spending on U.S. military forces in Afghanistan, and $26 billion on “logistical support.” It’s that $39 billion Erik Prince has his eyes on.

Just between you and me, that’s a s**tload of money.

What he wants to do is draw down our military forces until all we’ve got over there are 2,500 special operations troops for “counterterrorism missions” according to the Times. Prince would replace the 15,000 American military forces currently serving in Afghanistan with about 6,000 of his private contractors. The Times reports that his contractors would provide “skeletal structure support,” wh**ever the hell that is, as well as “training for Afghan forces.”

Prince proposes that his force of 6,000 private contractors “would be supported by air through a fleet of contracted aircraft flown by joint teams of Afghans and contractors,” according to the Times. Huh? Just who those “contracted aircraft” would belong to, Erik is keeping to himself. But here’s a hint: we’re not in the habit of loaning out our combat aircraft to the kind of rent-a-private-pilots Prince is proposing.

We’ve got 15,000 troops over there being supported by what amounts to unlimited Air Force and if need be Naval air support, as well as American Army attack helicopters and Blackhawks. And our soldiers are serving in support of Afghan forces in fighting the Taliban, which means that they are providing intelligence, air support and logistical support to the Afghan army (remember the $26 billion for “logistical support?” Some of that supports the Afghans).

And with all of that support, all of those American troops, and those tens of billions of dollars being spent, “Afghan security forces are dying at a record number of 30 to 40 a day,” according to the Times. Not to mention the hundreds of civilians being k**led by seemingly endless suicide bomb attacks.

Erik Prince’s genius plan would take the $13 billion we’re spending to pay for 15,000 American soldiers and use it to pay for 6,000 private contractors. And he would take the $26 billion being used for logistical support for 15,000 American and Afghan forces, and use it to support his 6,000 contractors and wh**ever he decides to throw the Afghan army’s way.

Gee, do you see any room for profit there?

Of course, Prince is pitching his plan to the White House as a way to save money. He knows all about saving money fighting wars, this guy. According to the Times, his firm Blackwater was given “hundreds of millions” of dollars in contracts during the war in Iraq before his firm was blacklisted after some of his contractors shot a bunch of civilians in Baghdad in 2007.

Let’s see . . . the war in Iraq started in 2003. That means in four years, he was able to glom hundreds of billions of our tax dollars in private contracts over there before he was fired. The man is really, really good at spending money, that much is clear.

And don’t forget, when tax dollars are spent on private contracts, a profit is built in. When tax dollars are spent to pay American soldiers and send them to war, nobody profits. Not the soldiers. Not the government. Not the taxpayers. Nobody.

The report from the Senate Subcommittee on Federal Spending Oversight states that total cost for the war we’ve been fighting in Afghanistan is somewhere “between $841 billion” — a figure Brown University’s Cost of Wars Project says is vastly underestimated — “to approximately $2 trillion.”

That’s the kind of money Prince has his eye on down the road. We’ve spent 17 years over there. For all of his talk of ending American military government in Afghanistan, he knows we’re not going anywhere. He knows we’re going to keep on throwing money at the problem, because that’s what America does.

He just wants a good portion of the tens of billions we’re going to throw to land in his pocket. An American soldier was k**led in Afghanistan last Thursday, making a total of eight American soldiers k**led there this year. A total of 2,372 American soldiers have died in Afghanistan since 2001, with more than 20,000 wounded.

That’s the “blood” of the “blood and treasure,” politicians say we have spent in Afghanistan for 17 years.

What Erik Prince wants to do is replace the blood of American soldiers with the blood of his private contractors. He wants to take the treasure out of our tax-paying pockets and put it in his capitalistic profit-making pocket.

That has never been done in this country. We don’t hire mercenary armies and send them overseas to fight our wars for us. We send our Army and our Navy and our Air Force and our Marines overseas if we think something is important enough to fight a war for.

If we change our minds, and calculate that something isn’t worth spending our “blood and treasure” on, we bring our soldiers and sailors and airmen and marines home.

What we don’t do is substitute what we believe in for profit. We don’t substitute the men and women who serve in our armed forces for mercenaries. And we don’t substitute our financial sacrifices in taxes we pay for profits going into the already-bulging pockets of the likes of Erik Prince.
