House Democrats praised the plan. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, D-Fla., who also heads the Democratic National Committee, called Obama's proposal "straightforward and fair," saying it would give consumers "additional choices."

So what was it last week Debbie? Does this mean it wasn't straightforward or fair before.

I think normal people cannot fathom how someone can look into a camera and lie away. This comes from the arrogance of great power. Democrats still have not recovered from the first two years of Obama, when they ruled the country unchallenged. Since then they have believed in their divine right to control every citizens daily life.

The GOP is Reviving R****m Rhetoric.

The r****m in GOP campaign rhetoric has returned with a pungency not seen in decades.

All because their simple minds cannot accept a black president!

Intellectual lazyness. If you actually read what Republicans said you would know there is no r****m.

You Liberals cannot accept what a lousy President Obama is. So anyone who dares criticize him must by default be a r****t.

Whenever liberals accuse anyone of r****m, I know they are losing. Charges of r****m is always their last fallback.

In the second half of the 20th century the Southern states switched from Democratic to Republican and the West coast switched from Republican to Democrat. Huge change you simpleton.

This simpleton knows the facts you are now stating. A lot of that change occurred in the 60s and 70s. So this simpleton knows as much as you do on your latest assertion.

What this poor simpleton fails to understand is what any of this has to do with Thomas Jefferson rolling over in his grave and how much the Republicans have changed in 200 years.

Instead of trying to one up me, why not just admit you made a mistake and move on from there.

If you can get this wrong reach inside of yourself and ask what else you have gotten wrong. Humility is the first step in a new you.

I never mentioned that the modern Republican Party was 2 centuries old! You witless fool!

You really are the prototypical Liberal. Facts can be put in front of you and they do not matter. You said the Republican Party has changed over 2 centuries. How is that possible?

If you catch me in an error I am man enough to admit it. Why can't you admit a small mistake?

The court said they can handle the work load but it wouldn't surprise me if they fill the slots anyway. The administration likes to spend.

So you refuse to even check out the link between Harry Reid and the DC Court? Yea the Administration likes to spend, but that has nothing to do with anything.

And the republicans have tried to rule America, too. That's the way it works around here!

The statement that I thought was ridiculous was that democrats are trying to destroy the constitution and create a dictatorship. WTF?!

As Quick Draw Mcgraw used to say " Hold on Thar. " The whole Obamacare bill concentrated immense power into the federal government. President Obama has exercised much of his power by executive order. He has put activists into the EPA and other agencies to harass citizens and their businesses. He has used the IRS to punish his political enemies. He has hidden witnesses to B******i from Congressional oversight committees.

He has chosen not to enforce certain laws, even though he took an oath to faithfully enforce all laws equally.

Sure sounds like he h**es that piece of paper.

The original Republican Party of Thomas Jefferson was founded in 1793. Jefferson was a Unitarian which in todays term means a liberal. The Republican Party has changed dramatically for the worse in the last two centuries, and Jefferson is spinning in his grave!

You really have no idea what you are talking about. The modern Republican Party was created in 1854 out of the remnants of the Whig Party. There is no connection with the Democratic-Republican Party of Jefferson. It is impossible for a political party to change dramatically in 200 hundred years, when it has existed for only 158 years. Pardon me, my math is incorrect. A slip of the keyboard. 159 years is what I should have written.

Trust me Thomas Jefferson is untroubled by the Republican party.

what has that to do with the president filling vacant judicial seats

Uhhhhh, cause the DC circuit is a , , , , , COURT. Uhhhh that is where some of tha vacant judicial seats are . . .

Senator Harry Reid with President Obama arm twisting disloyal Democrat Senators perpetrated the end of the filibuster. Obama is doing it for his agenda. Sir Harry is doing it to k**l the nuclear waste depository in his state.

I'm sorry, I cannot simplify it anymore than that.

Wow! If ever there was a comment that would destroy a poster's credibility, this would be it!

Wow if there ever was a poster who cannot tolerate an opposing viewpoint, you would be it. Ahh, well I remember the good ole days when Liberals and radicals were in the minority. I remember good and old Hillary going on a total rant that she was allowed by the Constitution to voice dissent. She was stung by people criticizing her for her hypocritical opposition to the Iraq War.

My, My how things have changed. Now that Liberals rule the Earth they cannot tolerate dissent. Funny how that DC official was fired for disagreeing with Obama's fix for Obamacare. Then there was the rodeo clown who got fired for wearing an Obama mask. I wonder what Liberals would have said if a clown was fired for a George Bush mask?

The Constitution, this is for you ignorant America h**ers, was largely a protection for minorities against the tyrannies of majorities.

I pray for the day Liberals are once again a minority and rediscover the wonders of Constitutional protections.

it is not packing the court there are three open seats all he wants to do is fill them , if he was a republican you would not be saying anything as conservatives would fill those empty seats , but he is a democrat and he is going to fill them with his picks as is his right , I am not deluded but your statement about packing the court leads me to believe you are the delusional one , but don't let the t***h get in front of your delusions

Okay one of us is delusional. Just to humor me, why don't you look up what I said about Senator Reid and the DC Court and Yucca Mountain. That way if we discuss the matter again, both of us will know what we are talking about.

I will say it again. Every generation has to defend that piece of paper. Because without defenders, a piece of paper is all it is.

We all know that Democrats when in power will appoint worthless hacks to adulterate and contaminate the words. The disappointment is when Republican appointed Justices betray their Country.

You are familiar with the concept of loyal opposition? FoxNews is the only major news organization that opposes the ruling party. In a functioning Democracy you need that.

when the paranoid delusion party of obstruction AKA the republican party regains it's sanity and become more interested in governance instead of obstruction then the nuclear option will not be needed , we need the old sane republican party back

You poor deluded peasant. Your betters are playing a higher game and you only know what you read and hear from your big brother news sources. Here is a big news flash, the opposition party is always the obstruction party. The party in power is always being blocked, but you think this time is different. It's always different, but always the same.

I have already posted this elsewhere but let me again inform the uninformed. Harry Reid and President Obama for different reasons needed to make this desperate short term power grab. Since Obamacare is d**gging his approval numbers down, Obama needs to get his agenda moving. He pressured the Democrat Senators who did not want to go nuclear. Now as for Senator Reid, he is all about shutting down the Yucca Mt project. The DC Circuit Appeals Court is throwing monkey wrenches into Harry's plans. So now that Republicans can't block Obama from packing this court with friendly judges, Harry is happy, Barry is happy, the whole left wing blogosphere is happy happy.

I go on the hardcore Obama sites which maybe even you don't know about. Idol worship is off the charts. Anyone, even reliable lefty Senators like Feinstein who are angry about how your hero couldn't launch a website without fumbling, are being excommunicated for disloyalty.

Anyway, if you want to acquire some real knowledge about what the filibuster tempest in a teapot is really about, I'm am more than happy to educate you low information types.

Harry Reid's number one priority in this life and the next is the Yucca Mountain nuclear waste site. The DC court has not been kind to uncle harry on this. Obama is desperate to get something going now that his popularity is in the toilet.

Obama and Reid need to pack the DC court with left wing floor mats. Obama did some major arm twisting on the few sane Democrats in the Senate to pass the anti filibuster motion. Now all is good in your universe.
