What you socialist Democrats should really worry about is the fact that the Republicans are very likely to take both branches of Congress, then march on to the White house and in the end, will destroy your liberal fantasies and hold power for a very long time.

All because of the Democratic far left agenda which has been shoved down the throats of Americans and caused a vast majority to vomit your ideologies onto the floor....

I will pause now while you think about it.

The anti-gun left and their allies in the news media rarely miss an opportunity to attack gun owners, and they’ve frenetically focused in recent months on the “New NRA.”

The younger, more hip, and more diverse stable of commentators that is the public face of the National Rifle Association in their new media properties seems to terrify the anti-gun left, and they’ve gone after them with a vengeance that they typically reserve for minorities that dare leave the liberal plantation.

Among the NRA commentators are:

a gay multi-racial ex-Google employee (Chris Cheng)
a Venezuelan Olympian immigrant (Gabby Franco)
a white female (Natalie Foster)
a bespectacled hipster (Billy Johnson)
an African-American lawyer (Colion Noir)
a former navy SEAL (Dom Raso)
a former beauty queen turned tactical training company CEO (Nikki Turpeaux)

They come from all walks of life, and different parts of the world, but their common, unifying trait is what they are not: the “uneducated fat old white guys” that is the stereotype of gun owners perpetuated by the media.

The reality that terrifies the anti-gun left is that this diversity accurately reflects the changing face of American gun culture.

I am with what must be the majority... As a retired old coot, I don`t have much of an active portfolio, but I still made a pretty good amount of money.. Being on medicare, the ACA has not yet had any noticeable effect so I will skip that... With a good accountant, my taxes are by no means a problem, except local property taxes which sky rocketed thanks to the past GOP govt we had in Minnesota. Currently, we are enjoying a very nice rebound state wide, so nice to have Gov. Dayton and the Dems in charge..
Best of all, my two oldest grand kids both have full time jobs with good pay, benefits, insurance and a future.. The grandson is also in the NG. So at 19 he is becoming a fine young man..

You can throw out all the BS you want about Obama, but the t***h is he has improved the nation far more than any of your GOP heroes have done..

About Romney, you often b***h about Govt. Jobs not counting, because Govt. produces nothing.. Yet Romney made a good deal of his fortune, after what dad left him, by buying, gutting and selling the assets of cos which he used to produce nothing.. His best part was to play finance games, a biz which manipulates the economy to produce nothing, but doe`s put large amount of money in the hands of those already rich enough to play the game.

And I would like all you cons to keep doing what you are doing. In over a year of reading OPP, nothing much has changed, each days rants are more or less the same.. continue on your quest.. do not make any plans.. this way it will be very easy to put whichever Democrat we wish into the white house come 2016...

Good work guys and gals of the right wing....

Was that "Good work guys and gals" message left on your answering machine by your union bosses?

Enjoy that "G****l w*****g" that is heading your way this winter. It is going to be a very cold November for you.

Really? So you approve of doing dumb things, for ( supposedly) good reasons? Even after all of Obama's stupid moves, I STILL believe he was the better choice. It isn't MY fault that the American people gave us the choice between evil - and more evil. Now, it's easy to say " we should have v**ed for McCain! ", but I have seen NO evidence that he would have been a better choice. Ditto for Romney.

Had Obama done a better job and been more respected, those who v**ed against him would be the one's with "egg on their faces ". The problem with such e******ns is, you never know what you're really getting until AFTER they are there. You have to make an "informed guess" when choosing. Of the choices available in 2008 and 2012, the pathetic, but better choice - was still Obama. Blame the RNC, for not doing a better job of vetting their candidates.

Consider that the association you hear liberals rile against every day is the NRA...

Perhaps you should support your 2nd amendment rights by joining that organization too..

At the very least it will piss off a liberal or two....

Just google up NRA and see all the nice bonus offers they have.

American by birth, Southern by the Grace of God, and Florida C*****r forever.............

Maybe we are neighbors. My family raises cattle in SW Florida. In fact we have a few head which we need to sell pronto. We are many generations deep, and still have the original homesteads (although not lived in) as a honored memory. Dirt floors and all..

Most folks do not realize the first cattle imported into the United States were introduced in my neck of the state.

Most folks also do not realize that Florida (up to a few years ago) was the largest cattle producing state in the Union.

As for me and my kin folks. We have never, and with Gods blessings, will never sell our land to Yankees.... We have seen the death and destruction they bring with them.... Just look at the destruction West of I-75 from Tampa to Naples, (they consider that progress) and then look at the peace and serenity on the East side and much of central Florida, where the old south is still maintained.

P.s. Howdy fellow C*****r!

Understand there is a difference between Yankees and Damn Yankees. Yankees just visited and Damn Yankees decided to stay. JK. It normally takes around 20 years of residence to be considered Southern, and loose the Brooklyn or Jersey twang. We love the Yankees that acclimate and don't try to tell us how they did it where they are from.

What I am truly loving is that major gun manufacturers are relocating from Northern anti-gun, liberal states to Southern states. High tech, well paying jobs come with them. We can not tell what the future holds, but should another war of northern aggression occur, the south will have the gun manufacturers. Half kidding here.

I also love that many southern states are Right to Work States; large companies see the benefit of relocating to the area and bringing solid wage jobs. Our major container ports will generate become gigantic economic engines and encourage importers, export manufacturers, warehousing, t***sportation entities to relocate to the area and bring their jobs. One thing that truly amuses me is the relocation of the movie studios from California to Louisiana and Georgia. Louisiana has three and Georgia has five. Carry on.

Exemplified in great part by looking at the rust belt in PA, the demoted and bankrupt car city of Detroit and the movement of major automobile manufacturers into Southern states, and of course Boeing into South Carolina from the West Coast, which (by the way) caused Obama to hold up the opening of their new plant for months. Done only to suckle on the Unions hind tit.

Listen, I v**ed for Obama the first time because McCain was delusional and Palin is an i***t. I v**ed for him the second time because I knew that if Romney won, I'd either have to come up with the country club membership dues - or be deported, since he has no use for "less than filthy rich" folk.

Wow. What perfect examples of v****g for Obama because you were both "delusional" and a "i***t".

Not to worry though. It is apparent you cannot afford the dues to your local country club and most assuredly would not be accepted for membership anyway.

Poor, poor, pathetic thing.

Sherman Didn't Destroy The South.
S***ery And C*****r Culture P***e And Laziness Made The South What It Was.

The South Was Never A Hot-Bed Of Industry.
Although, The South Is Probably Better Off Economically Now
Than It Was Even 30yrs Ago.

But Obama Ain't Finished With America Yet.

So tell us what a "C*****r" is and the problem with their cultural p***e?

"C*****r" is used to indicate that their family has lived there for many generations. This would also include black residents who were born and raised in the south.

As an example. Here are some notable Florida c*****rs:

Doyle E. Carlton – 25th governor of Florida (1929–1933)
Kathy Castor – member of the U.S. House of Representatives for Florida's 11th congressional district (2007–2013) and 14th congressional district (2013–present)
Lawton Chiles – U.S. Senator from Florida (1971–1989), 41st governor of Florida (1991–1998)
LeRoy Collins – 33rd governor of Florida (1955–1961)
Fred P. Cone – 27th governor of Florida (1937–1941)
William Cooley – Florida pioneer
Bob Graham – 38th governor of Florida (1979–1987), U.S. Senator from Florida (1987–2005)
Ben Hill Griffin Jr. – "A C*****r millionaire from Frostproof, Fla."[7]
Spessard Holland – 28th governor of Florida (1941–1945), U.S. Senator (1946–1971)
Bill Nelson – member of the U.S. House of Representatives (1979–1991), NASA payload specialist (STS-61-C), U.S. Senator (2001–present)
Adam Putnam – member of the U.S. House of Representatives for Florida's 12th congressional district (2001–2011), Florida Agriculture Commissioner (2011–present)
Fuller Warren – 30th governor of Florida (1949–1953)

Want to reconsider your outlandish r****m by using the word "C*****r" as a demeaning, bigoted term?

Consider also: Since the huge influx of new residents into the south from the northern parts of the United States would indicate they contributed to the demise and p***e of the south you allude too, would beg the question of why they fled from your "Great Northern Society."in the first place?

Your ignorance is only outdone by your stupidity.

If you v**ed for Obama because of his work experience then you are delusional.

If you v**ed for Obama based upon his qualifications; to be President of this once great country, then you are ignorant.

If you v**ed for Obama because of his economic plan; you are a moron.

If you v**ed for Obama because he is black then your are a r****t!

If you v**ed for Obama because you want free stuff and he promised it to you, then you are nothing more than a greedy and self centered twerp.

If your union told you to v**e for Obama and you marched in lockstep with them then you are just a tool

If you v**ed for Obama because of his promise to provide you with free health care; while promising that you could keep your doctor and your existing insurance, then you are not only an i***t, you are a gullible fool.

If however you would try and convince others that you v**ed for him because you really know what he stands for, then you are a t*****r.
