We don't give money to i*****l a***ns. They work for their money and pay taxes all of my Mexicans on my payroll had taxes with held and FICA taxes as well. We employ 750,000 Hispanics that pick the wine grapes, fruits, nuts and vegetables that grace your table. A 10 billion rainy day fund is better than a $25 billion deficit and the peace and quiet with no grid lock It feels sooooo gooood. California has a history of electing Republicans going back generations but they were not conservative Republicans they were progressive Republicans in the mold of Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt, Calif. Governor and Chief Justice of the SCOTUS Earl Warren . Then the people got conned in to electing conservative Republican beginning in 1966 with Ronald Regan and California began a dance with conservative devils that we only began to emerge from in 2011. We elected Jerry Brown from 1974 to 1982 but Republicans found they could get their way through the referendum. They could hire people to put up tables and take people in to signing to put an initiative on the b****t then spend a ton of money on slick TV ads to conn the people. Well the people have wised up to their game it's not working any more. California has some conservative districts that elect Representatives but they have no power except in the UYS House of Representatives.

Agreed on religion Larry, many are hypocrites. They preach one thing, then do another.

Of the three Muslim's I personally know it did take several conversations before Islam was broached. All of them are ashamed of how radical islamic terrorists, ISIS, Al-Queida, Hamas and their repugnant ilk have perverted Islam. Don't get me wrong, I believe radical islamic terrorists should be exterminated for the vermin they are. The three muslims I'm acquainted with are completely Westernized. You would be hard pressed to tell they were muslim at all, and after conversing with them on numerous occasions they are adamant it their denunciation of islamic radical terrorists. However, that being said they are the exception to the rule in the muslim community.

Of the muslim lady in my camera club we have struck up a friendship, and are going on a photo shoot together next Wednesday to Rocky Mountain National Park. I find her quite pleasant to be around with a quick wit and engaging personality. This could be the reason I have somewhat softened my stance on islam in general, now focusing on the despicable islamic terrorists which unfortunately make all of islam look bad. My one fervent wish is the moderate/conservative demographic of islam were much more vocal in denouncing islamic terrorism.

Actually, my only experience with muslims are the three I know personally. We didn't any in the Corps when I was serving. One is a family that own a convenience store (and yep, they sell booze), another is a neighbor in my apartment complex and the third is a lady that belongs to my camera club. Her and I sat together at the annual BBQ, and she drank Bud Light and we talked photography. These people came here for a better life, assimilated, are productive, taken the oath and are all around decent people. As far as the radicalized islamic terrorists go, I say exterminate them all because they are not conducive to a civilized society. I fully realize there are islamic theocratic repugnant terrorists in our midst, however there are some decent muslims as well and t***h be known, I would rather socialize with the three muslim examples I have stated, than some Christian religious bible thumping fanatics that are out there. Westboro Baptist Church comes to mind.
