The Biden administration has created three hundred and fifty thousand new jobs last months. This far outpaces every other country in the world. Inflation is going down and the economy is great. Most Republicans won't give Biden credit for this amazing recovery from the c***d recession. Bill Clinton used to say, " If you see a turtle on a fence post, it didn't get there by accident ". Donald Trump would love to see the recession come back for his selfish political reasons. He knows if his base start thinking instead of blindly following him," he's toast ".

What a joke you are.

Government employment continued to trend up in January (+36,000), below the average monthly gain
of 57,000 in 2023. A job gain occurred in federal government (+11,000), and employment continued to
trend up in local government, MEANWHILE,

The labor force participation rate, at 62.5 percent, was unchanged in January.

The employment-population ratio, at 60.2 percent, was little changed.

In January, the number of people employed part time for economic reasons, at 4.4 million,
changed little.

The number of people not in the labor force who currently want a job, at 5.8 million, was
little changed in January.

There aren't any holes in a straw, there's an opening at each end. The opening @ the bottom is the gezzinta end & the opening @ the top is the gezzoutta end.

It's nice to see representatives from both sides agreeing on something but it would be better if they actually knew what the hell they were doing. I'm watching them chastising Big Tech for k*****g children... Wha?

Based on what? Moral values? Is Congress going to be our moral mommies now? I realize that congressional politics has devolved into popularity competitions and that's a problem. They are supposed to legislate. That is supposed to be their ONE primary job. They are not supposed to be investigators, judges or celebrity's they are supposed to be lawmakers. So they need to STFU, LEARN what social media IS, and THEN set about writing laws to make what they are calling MORAL violations, LEGAL violations. Then LEGAL actions can be taken to make social media "safer"... maybe.

And I DO mean they need to LEARN what social media is... Amy Klobuchar compares the situation to the door that blew out of the 737 and suggested the treatment of Big Tech be no less severe than the treatment Boeing got, as if the situations are comparable.

No, Amy... they are NOT comparable.

The abusive content is the product of the USERS, not the platform. This is not the case with aircraft doors and passengers. The passengers don't build or maintain the doors.

So there IS a fundamental difference. Blaming Big Tech for mean notes written by wicked children is like blaming the federal government for all the drunk driving incidents that k**l people when they happen on federally-funded interstate highways.

I won't marginalize the problem. I agree that content can be toxic and harmful. I've actually been involved in several projects to look for ways to protect users from abusive content. It's not easy. In fact, in the 8 years since, it still hasn't been done. These congressmen act like it's a simple matter of tightening the bolts. What exactly do they want Big Tech to do? Filter? Censor? Ban users? Didn't we already go through this when people were screaming at social media for not allowing the freedom of speech?

Yes, there is a problem... But it's not Big Tech, it's not the government... it's People. People are the problem. At least this is one thing the religious folks got right. Morals in our society are declining fast. And if we're leaving it up to Congress to lecture business leaders on morals, then our society is in deep doo-doo.

How can you say "the government" is not the problem when the government was running another typical sh~tshow? The government tries to say its morals sre superior to society's morals wh**ever they may be, in particular the goverment we have today. Are you kidding me? You got one thing right, the people are the problem too often than not.

The Biden administration has met with TikToker influencers about climate and energy policy. I was wrong. I didn’t think this administration could get stupider. Whose running this clown show?

This administration is NOT stupid, it is (pick one or all) crooked, incompetent, unsk**led, crude, bungling, inadequate, etc, etc. I'm in favor of crooked, if what you see above board, think what is happening under the table.

On Jan. 22, a tranche of documents published by America First Legal (AFL) alleged the Department of Homeland Security’s CISA was aware that mail-in b****ts were less secure than in-person v****g ahead of the 2020 e******n.

Nevertheless, it undertook an “unprecedented censorship campaign to mislead the American people about the t***h,” according to Gene Hamilton, AFL’s vice president and general counsel.

“But ultimately, I think Americans need to hold these government officials accountable for trampling on their constitutional rights.”

“CISA interfered in the 2020 p**********l e******n. CISA knew that in-person v****g did not increase the spread of C***D. CISA knew mail-in v****g was less secure. CISA nevertheless supported policy changes to encourage unprecedented widespread mail-in v****g.”

CISA formed the E******n Integrity Partnership 100 days before the 2020 e******n “to censor narratives relating to mail-in v****g,” AFL said.

The E******n Integrity Partnership, which involved CISA and Stanford University’s Global Engagement Center, aimed to “censor Americans’ speech in the lead-up to the 2020 e******n,” according to a report published on Nov. 6, 2023, by the House Judiciary Committee and its Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government.

“Common sense dictates that b****ts submitted via mail are inherently less secure than verified, in-person v****g by a citizen who shows identification before casting his or her b****t,” Mr. Hamilton said in a press release.

MY COMMENT: It's called "WILLFUL BLINDNESS" to claim that "mail-in" v****g is secure, yet our country continues to allow this practice. This just adds more fuel to the fire that our e******n results can be trusted. How can the public believe in the integrity of the v****g process? You need to ask yourself if this is a planned event, with the eventual outcome of some from of martial law. Is that why numerous government agencies are loading up with ammo?

Sounds like Miller's more upset about it than Ted Cruz. I guess Ted's in the doghouse now for endorsing that ignorant SOB. I don't always like the way Trump says something but I believe he is sincere about governing, it's ONLY just a job for most of the Republicans. I do wish he'd find some synonyms for incredible.

I disagree. Right is right and wrong is wrong. When you insult some one’s wife or kids that has never done anything to you an apology makes sense. Your 90% figure is bulls**t.
Depends on what he was apologizing for.

I watched/listened to Miller on Fox, he wasn't specific on who he thought Trump should apologize to or for what other than sounding like a Pol or a "New Yawker." On Fox we have to listen to the Chicago & NY mayors BS, Karine Jean-Pierre' constant lying, (Doocy should be more like Trump and tell her she's lying) & The View which I'd never know about except for Fox. Miller sounded like a real woose to me but the wife thought he was OK so I probably should have said 90% of the guys.LOL

Dennis Miller forgot or never knew Gibb's Rule #6, "Never apologize, it's a sign of weakness!" If he apologized for being Trump 90% of us would walk away, we don't want another mealy-mouthed politician. Tell me, what would you say if Biden were to try to apologize.
