As I've already pointed out to American Vet, they are not liberal sites. They are right-wing sites with strong opinions about liberal media. So let's get that straight.

The first one, focused on the 4th of July is a display of utter stupidity in which comments made by people assumed to be liberal are completely misunderstood and/or taken out of context. The point is obviously to falsely accuse those making the comments of trashing the holiday.

The second one, more focused on Christmas, is an attack on Slate and Salon for expressing their opinions about the programming on Hallmark, which is obviously guided by white Christian censorship. I personally don't have a problem with that. Hallmark is a privately owned network... If they want to dedicate their programming to making white Christians feel good about themselves then fine. I find the programming a little too cheesy for my taste so I don't watch it.

But other people in the L**T community feel more compelled to point out the censorship that leaves them out and Slate and Salon, also being privately owned, has just a much right to cater to their alienation as Hallmark does to cater to white Christians censorship.

The third one, more focused on Thanksgiving, is a basically a crybaby session about liberal media acknowledging some facts that conservatives don't want mentioned.

I gotta say, these articles and the comments I've seen on this topic really does confirm the intolerance conservatives have for any narrative that doesn't rub their ego. All I can say is "get over it". There are over 350 million people in the USA and they aren't all white Christians.

Wolf, I am a strong liberal, and I am not against any American holiday. I have never met anybody, liberal, moderate, or conservative that doesn't love our holidays. I believe that you conservatives listen to much to Fox and other conservative talk and/or news shows. They hear of somebody that makes a stupid comment and then they believe that every liberal thinks like that. I'm here to tell you to listen to a liberal talk show and see if you hear anybody trash talk about the country or it's holidays!

There's a bank of thunderheads to the west of us right now that look to be moving southeast and there's a small curtain of rain soaking the fields beneath them.

A rain cooled breeze has been blowing all afternoon yet the pocket of blue sky and sunshine above Comanche County has gifted us with a perfectly beautiful afternoon.

The last of our relatives left early this morning and the crew we hired to manage our Fourth of July celebration has packed and loaded everything and left the property.

It's mighty quiet where I sit right now except for the hum of the cicadas and the doves cooing.

I'm looking at my f**g pole as Old Glory waves in the cool breezes, and I'm thinking...........................

How can I not love this great country that has given so much ?

So many so called Americans have now set themselves against patriotic holidays like the fourth of July.

Well, we just had the greatest fourth celebration in our family history.

We honored my father and he prayed for us as his spirit poured out upon our entire klan.

He has now completely retired from running his businesses as my elder brother has taken over the reigns.

And he has now dedicated the remainder of his life to being the patriarch and leader of our family.

Yesterday, he expressed his own immense love for this country and we were all deeply inspired.

I was moved when he spoke of how it grieves him to hear our own American citizens speaking against our patriotic holidays.

And he did say, " The More They H**e America The More I Love It "
