It was directly related to Trumps statement. People would not have done so and Clorox would not have had to make a statement warning people not to if it had not been suggested by the president.

Because some people are too dumb to know the difference between the medication and poison. Trump said he was being sarcastic, but his comments resulted in hundreds of calls to poison centers and subsequent deaths. Clorox had to post warnings not to drink bleach. What the hell was even thinking when he said that part out loud? Why was he up there talking about ingesting bleach and looking at the doctors for their confirmation?
