Looks like those payments of around $12,000 will be delayed because Pelosi has thrown a wrench into the whole deal.

Where did you get that number?
The most I’ve heard discussed is $2000 per adult.

Unfortunately, not much is known about the negotiations in the House.

We do have some information about the process in the Senate.

March 18:
Senator Rand Paul - Republican, Kentucky:
proposed an amendment that would have:
-required a social security number to receive the child care tax cut
-provided the President the authority to t***sfer funds as necessary
-terminated United States military operations and reconstruction activities in Afghanistan.

The amendment was not approved.

The first relief package has been enacted.

Sponsored by representative Nita Lowey a Democrat representing the 17th district of New York.

Here are the revisions made in the compromise with the Senate.

The key in all 3 countries cases has been testing.

I worry because, as of yet, our health care system is behind the curve.

I disagree. It may not have as long a dormant period before symptoms appear in an infected person, but they were long enough to spread to many countries. If memory serves me correctly, many of the cases were spread sexually by truck drivers along some of the major roads connecting the various African countries. Ebola's death rate was much higher.

Ebola is much more dangerous than C****-**.

Seems Trump has his own Ebola situation that could hit the USA.

Yes but that was my point. Both diseases were spread by people traveling out of the original source of infection. I am trying to explore the WHY of how it was possible to control travelers from the African Ebola danger area against why the World failed to control C****-** carriers from China.

Though the diseases are completely different, the problem of containing them to the initial outbreak area is the same. Obviously not the same because in the first instance Ebola was contained and in the second instance of C****-** got into the larger World.

Generally people infected with Ebola died before they spread it much.
C****-** is asymptomatic and contagious for quite a while, thusly a much greater risk.

I know that you lack the courage to directly reply to a direct question.

Most liberals are like that.

Careful...don’t jinx him.

Ebola is much more deadly, most often k*****g it's host before it can spread.

We don’t know how long someone can carry it without having symptoms.
How many carriers do we have?
Without real numbers, we can’t know how dangerous it really is.
It’s a tough situation. Where’s the line between sensible precautions and paranoia?

Its kind of like the labor unions supporting liberal or democrat candidates, when the union members themselves, support other candidates. It's a misleading statement. Personally, I don't think any union should be allowed to contribute to ANY candidate. Union dues should be used to support the needs of the members of that particular union, but that could be a topic for another thread.

And corporate profits should be distributed to stock holders instead of going to political causes.

I want one of two things.
Either both can use their funds to promote their agenda, or neither can.
