With the house in control of enemies of the US there is no way to eliminate waste in the budget. After WWII was over and I was sent from my N. Luzon airbase to Manila about the end of 1945 we took Sunday jeep trip to Lake Taal. The crater and surrounding area looked as if it had been dormant more than 300 years. Now I read that it blew in 1977 and is now blasting out a nine mile high plume of SO2 and ash.
