We all know it? I don’t know it. Please show your proof of such a definite statement. I would have to think if there was proof there would have been arrests made. I haven’t seen that happen.

I was disappointed when Trump announced he will run again. It's weird. I like his policies and judicial picks more than I thought I would but I cannot stand listening to him. I have not seen one Democrat mentioned as a candidate I could even consider. Where are the Democratic candidates more in the vein of a Carter Lamb? Instead they all try to get even further left.

Agree. What both sides need to do is move more to the middle and try to actually accomplish something for a change. This do nothing Congress under McConnel and Ryan is utterly ridiculous!

I have stated in other threads that I am a Believer in Christ and was given a very poor choice. Two very flawed candidates in my opinion.Honestly,
since I don't like either of them it came down to Trump being pro life and Hillary vehemently pro choice.

Two very flawed candidates is absolutely the t***h in my opinion also. 👍. The worst part is that it looks to be the same in the next e******n too as the dems have no one, again! Hilary was by far the dumbest choice they could have made in the last e******n, too much baggage.

My point was calling all male Hillary v**ers girly men because they v**ed for Hillary is as stupid as Hillary saying white women v**ed for Trump because their husbands told them to.It was a statement meant to show how stupid Hillary's statement was. You can't be happy with the way she is whining. Correct?

No, I am not. Sorry, I misunderstood! I truly think she lost her mind when she didn’t win the e******n. And nobody like a whiny loser. Lol

Sorry, but I v**ed for Clinton and I will be happy to meet you in person and prove I am no girly man! I have h**ed the Clinton’s for years but just could not bring myself to v**e for a TOTALLY unqualified Donald Trump. I am very tired of having to choose between the lesser of two evils when v****g for President. Say what you will but Trump is an amoral i***t that only cares about himself and his wallet.

If you’ve ever seen Henri Herbert live – whether pounding the keys solo, with his new power trio or with The Jim Jones Revue – you’ll assuredly know there’s very few piano players on the planet who can feed so much power, emotion and sheer adrenaline-fuelled virtuosity into their performances.

“Super-charged boogie-woogie” (as Henri terms it), blues, jazz, rock’n’roll and “dark ballads”. Herbert’s jaw-dropping live sets cover it all with a phenomenally powerful left-hand and a mesmerizing right wowing crowds wherever he turns up to tread the boards.

Henri was a member of blistering rock’n’roll five-piece The Jim Jones Revue between 2011 and their ‘Last Hurrah’ in 2014. Since the split, Herbert’s been suitably busy carving out a new solo career, in addition to the odd smattering of session work.

Armed with a repertoire of recently self-penned tunes, Henri’s been trekking across Europe playing both solo piano gigs as well as shows with his power trio The Henri Herbert Band, which also includes ex-Jim Jones Revue sticksman Nick Jones. They’ve just released their brilliant debut EP, Wired, which is – unsurprisingly – essential listening.

What would they be arrested for? State and local government have absolutely no obligation to enforce federal law. It is a misuse of taxpayer resources to do so. They also have no obligation nor is it their business to inquire about anyone’s immigration status. Although most supporters of the Pumpkinfuhrer lust after turning the country into a police state dictatorship the vast majority of Americans are adamantly against it. So even though Trump is president people still need to be suspected of breaking the law to be arrested.

I have never understood how this whole immigration thing got started in the first place. When did we as a people decide it was right and proper to ignore the law? There is a legal avenue to enter the country and anyone entering by any other means is here illegally, period! However, lest either side claim the high ground here, it has been both parties that have been guilty of letting it continue. We are a nation of laws and as soon as we allow them to go unenforced we are just as guilty as the law breakers themselves. Either enforce the law or change it but we can’t simply ignore it and expect a good result

Welcome aboard, Swabby. What did you do in the canoe club?

Electrician on U.S.S. Piedmont ( Destroyer Tender) in San Pedro. And then briefly back at Great Lakes as a training instructor. Nothing too exciting but wouldn’t trade the experience for anything, I learned a ton about the real world.

“People are often unreasonable,
Illogical, and self-centered;
Forgive them anyway.

If you are kind,
People may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives;
Be kind anyway.

If you are successful,
You will win some false friends and some true enemies;
Succeed anyway.

If you are honest and frank,
People may c***t you;
Be honest and frank anyway.

What you spend years building,
Someone could destroy overnight;
Build anyway.

If you find serenity and happiness,
Others may be jealous;
Be happy anyway.

The good you do today,
People will often forget tomorrow;
Do good anyway.

Give the world the best you have,
And it may never be enough;
Give the world the best you've got anyway.

You see, in the final analysis,
It is between you and God;
It was never between you and them anyway."

Rockford, home of Hush Puppy shoes! Beautiful place on the banks of the Grand River. I used to go there and buy my shoes at the factory outlet store.

Your Your idea has merit, but there is a element in America not supporting our own sovereignty..to me that is a recipe for ruin as a nation..

I think the real bottom line of that is, how big an element? If it is over 50% then I agree, that is a recipe for ruin. I don’t believe that to be the case tho so I believe in live and let live.

If I might make another quick comment without giving it too much thought. Hemi does seem to put us under a rather dark cloud but, having lived in this Great Country for nearly 80 years, I feel that the extremes politically, morally, spiritually and about every other way are much further apart than they were even 50 or 60 years ago. I don't really know why that is so but I know it is true. Food for thought as they say.
Bernie

Bernie I agree that the country seems to be much more noticeably divided than I ever remember it being before but is it really? Yes, people are bitterly divided over the a******n issue, but that has always been the case. It’s an issue that brings out very strong feelings from both sides with no easy answers or even a workable compromise. Other than that tho the only real difference I can see from when I was a kid is media. Baby boomers were the first generation to grow up with television. May seem simplistic at first glance but I think media is far more responsible for our present situation than they are being given credit for. And by media I mean ALL media. Food for more thought! ✌️😊

I don’t. Not my job. You know if you are a true American or not. If other people disagree,which is their right, screw ‘em.
You know the t***h and the t***h is what matters. Or, so says I. 😳😊
