Yes, some of Islam's more primitive instincts, which exactly mirror Christianity's practices of 500-600 years ago, are to be condemned. But can we condemn Christianity for IT'S burnings, beheadings, s***ery, and torture in days gone by? The practices you mention by no means characterize Islam as a whole.
