Oldschool, as I understand it, in Syria, you have the Assad regime supported by Hezbollah, and they are fighting the rebels, who are supported by both the Muslim Brotherhood and Al-Qaida. Both sides are Muslim Arabs, and none of them are friends to Americans. In short, this is a civil war between Muslim factions. In my book, Muslims k*****g Muslims is a good thing, ... send guns and ammo to both sides!

Obama wants to jump into the fray, somewhat because he likes the Muslim Brotherhood, but mostly just to burn up some very expensive military hardware. I'm sure that his, and the democrat party's, campaign money raisers are already on the phones to the military hardware suppliers to offer big lucrative contracts to replace the weapons that will be used against Assad, if they will just contribute big bucks to the Democratic Party, right now.

Remember, the mid-terms are coming up next year. Buying military hardware, like $1.5 million (each) tomahawk missiles, with taxpayer money, will send big money to the suppliers, who will in turn, send campaign bucks to the democratic party. Those bucks will be converted to v**es for the democrats in 2014. Always remember, in politics, its about the money.

Darn, you gonna have to add even another star to your "I never get the facts straight" medal. Shellie said nothing about spousal abuse, she said "argument", that's all! And Zimmerman didn't "go berserk", he simply had to shoot a drug crazed attacker, who was trying to k**l him.

Damn, can you l*****ts ever quit lying?

Okay, BoJester, you can add another star to the support ribbon of your "I seldom get the facts" medal. I just wasted my time reading your link, which has nothing in it to connect this doofus to the Republican or Libertarian Party, or the right in any way. Since good ole Wendell Docteur is 22 years old, living in Connecticut, was stupid enough to shoot himself and then try to fool the police with an implausible story, ... Can you name even one liberal l*****t TV talk show host who has ever admitted to misstating the facts, and immediately gone on air to correct him/herself, with no excuses? Let me guess, you think that all l*****t talking heads ALWAYS tell the t***h.

Oh, wow! Another study confirming what all intelligent taxpayers already knew. Obama lied when he promised, among other things, that if the Affordable Care Act was passed, medical care would improve, and the overall cost to the nation would decrease.

We all knew he was lying, even the brain dead liberals. We knew he was lying, because he was reading a teleprompter, and his lips were moving. The liberals just hoped that the increased costs would all be heaped on the upper and middle class workers, which Obama often refers to as "those rich people."

Any person with no brain damage, and more than a second grade education, could figure out that if healthcare was expensive before passage of the ACA, once you added free healthcare for the lazy non-working and non taxpaying people, and as much of it as they wanted, .... administered by the federal government, .... cost were going to soar!

The entire concept of 'mandatory' healthcare came from the conservatard thin tank Heritage foundation, under the guise of making everyone personally responsible.
Read the following and lern something correct for a change.

Who actually wrote the affordable care act?

Answers:

--Many people:

Healthy policy research experts, economists, pharmaceutical executives, insurance executives, some in Congress who have expertise in medical field, financial planners, hospital administrators, physicians, lawyers, Dept of HHS, Centers for CMS and other government agencies had input into designing the legislation.

--The Heritage Foundation, which is a conservative Republican think tank. They came up with the plan of private health insurance with a mandate forcing every one to buy personal coverage. This was intended to be the Republican response to Clinton's call for National Health coverage in the early 1990s. However all the squabbling led to nothing even though Republicans had control of congress. The plan was later championed by Mitt Romney when he was governor of Massachusetts and it was enacted with great success. More than 90% of the public responded to the mandate. The federal version or ACA was accepted by the first Democratic congress under Obama on the idea that Republicans would sign on. Of course the Republicans were more interested in defeating Obama for his second term than to v**e for a good measure like health care, so despite being the "Republican Plan" it was passed with no Republican v**es. The federal plan has more impact than just the Massachusetts plan because it also deals with Medicaid and Medicare issues that needed attention as well.
Is it possible for conservatards to ever tell the ... (show quote)

Almost BoJester, but no cigar. As usual, your facts are a little twisted, obviously, to support the liberal talking points.

Back in the early 1990s, Stuart Butler, et al., at the Heritage Foundation, wrote some opinions that there needed to be some requirements that everyone have some protection for catastrophic accident/health care. At that time Stuart and others at the Heritage Foundation did not advocate government mandated purchase of insurance, but instead tax breaks and vouchers to entice individuals to purchase insurance for catastrophic illnesses, so that taxpayers and hospitals did not have to foot the bill for the uninsured people who had major accidents or catastrophic illnesses.

The Heritage Foundation wanted expansion of health insurance to happen because of the carrot of health credit or voucher, not the stick of punishment by the h**ed IRS. The only thing close to that was the suggestion of the loss of some tax breaks, if catastrophic accident & health insurance wasn't purchased.

Even more important, a few years ago, Stuart and others at the Heritage Foundation, changed their opinions on having any incentives to purchase insurance, because health research and advances in economic analysis had convinced Stuart that an insurance mandate wasn't needed to achieve stable, near-universal coverage. Also, advances in "risk adjustment" tools were improving the stability of voluntary insurance. Heritage-funded research on federal employees' coverage — which has no mandate — caused Stuart to conclude he had made a mistake in the 1990s.

Nothing in the Obamacare package was written by the Heritage Foundation. As you said, lots of people, especially the insurance companies, had a hand in this crappy legislation, but mostly in the quest to get their own money grubbing hands into the pockets of the working taxpayers.

If you all want the t***h about the so called "Obamacare" law, do some research. It was supposedly written by a "friend" of Max Baucus and former VP of WellPoint Inc., named Liz Fowler, but in t***h it was written by the insurance industry, most notably WellPoint Inc., an independent licensee of the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association, and the nations largest insurer. The entire insurance industry was in some way supportive of this massive extraction of money from the pockets of the working class, and that money's deposit into the pockets of the insurance industry and their biggest investors.

This law was authored to do two things. First, to force thousands of working people to purchase a product, health insurance, which they would not have purchased without government forcing them. Second, it allows government to funnel millions of tax dollars, in the form of insurance subsidies for the non-working, into the pockets of the insurance industry, and thereby, the pockets of insurance company VPs and the investors in insurance companies.

Democrats led the passage of this massive taxpayer financed give away to the insurance industry, so I wonder if you can guess which party, and which p**********l candidate, the insurance companies and their biggest investors have been supporting with their political contributions, for the past seven, or so years?

Democrats couldn't care less about the poor uninsured, except that by giving them free health insurance on the taxpayers dollars, they also line the pockets of some of their biggest political contributors, keep the money flowing to the DNC, and to democrats, that's politics. The icing on the democrat's cake is the continued v**es of the ignorant and lazy people who get the free, taxpayer financed, insurance.

I know I wasn't the person you asked, but I am one who has one answer, from one source, to answer your question.

Here are the facts:

To date, 46 states have prosecuted or convicted cases of v***r f***d.

More than 24 million v***r r**********ns are invalid, yet remain on the rolls nation-wide.

There are over 1.8 million dead v**ers still eligible on the rolls across the country.

More than 2.75 million Americans are registered to v**e in more than one state.

True The V**e recently found 99 cases of potential felony interstate v***r f***d.

Maryland affiliates of True The V**e uncovered cases of people registering and v****g after their respective deaths.

This year, True The V**e uncovered more than 348,000 dead people on the rolls in 27 states.
California: 49,000
Florida: 30,000
Texas: 28,500
Michigan: 25,000
Illinois: 24,000

12 Indiana counties have more registered v**ers than residents.

The Ohio Secretary of State admitted that multiple Ohio counties have more registered v**ers than residents.

Federal records showed 160 counties in 19 states have over 100 percent v***r r**********n.

The Florida New Majority Education Fund, Democratic Party of Florida and the National Council of La Raza are currently under investigation for alleged v***r r**********n fraud.

Hmmm, ... you're an Obama supporter, and you call Nixon a criminal? Nixon allowed his staff to attempt a minor break-in at the DNC, but your beloved Obama has been hands-on in the murder of a US Border agent and multiple deaths in B******i. Only a Dimwitted-0-crat could think that any past POTUS was ever worse than the criminal now in office.

And as far as conservatives being "stupid, selfish and petty", I think the Dumbocrats take that category in spades. Conservatives apparently aren't stupid, since they own a vast majority of small businesses. They aren't selfish, since studies show conservatives give more of their own money than liberals. (Liberals only support being real generous with other people's money, through higher taxes.)

And petty???, ... have you heard about the liberals going nuts over a rodeo clown making a joke about Odingbat? Some well known liberals even called for federal officers to investigate the rodeo clown. If any clown needs investigating, it is that clown presently occupying the white house!

Sorry, those of us called conservative or libertarians are just too busy to be out marching over these matters. We have eight-hour jobs (some of us have two jobs), ... to pay our taxes, ... so that our socialist federal government can send welfare to those who don't work.

After working five, or more days a week, we use the "leftover" time to repair and clean our homes and vehicles, attend our places of worship, spend time with our families, or possibly participate in some sports or recreation.

Perhaps next year, those deadbeats on the federal welfare rolls could get a job, pay taxes, ... and the federal government could subsidize us conservatives' and libertarians' house payments, pay for our groceries, and take care of our medical bills, while we head downtown to protest taxes, gun laws etc.

Oh wait!!! If someone else is paying all of OUR bills, while we march, r**t, l**t, b***h, be lazy and act stupid, we might like high taxes.

Lou, you are apparently the poster boy for the liberal left's attitude of "only the government can help." Those anecdotal stories are typical of how those of us calling ourselves conservative are able to accumulate wealth, and survive adverse situations without the help of the socialist government.

If you think that all unsk**led laborer should be able to work at MickeyD's or elsewhere, and make over $11.00 an hour, you have no understanding of economics. Once you pay all of the unsk**led labor force sufficient money so that a menial simplistic job, .. like flipping burgers, .. provides them the income to move them out of poverty, inflation puts them back into poverty. Wages increase = prices increase.

I'm an old man now, and I've worked all of my life. Most of my adult life, even though my two primary occupations paid well, I worked additional jobs with those primary jobs to make ends meet and save a little money. Most of my friends did the same, ... worked a full time job, and a second job nights and/or weekends.

I still work, even though I have serious health problems, and if my present employment ends, I'll either find another job, or start my own business, ... again, .... until my body just won't go any longer. Even while serving my four years in the military, I often had an extra job to make a little extra money.

I really don't need a damn thing from the federal government, except to protect me from foreign aggression, ... the ONLY thing they are actually supposed to do for me under the Constitution!

I used to get angry about this type of partisan rhetoric from the left, but after talking with some l*****ts, and reading more of their rhetoric, I have come to realize that it is simple ignorance that causes someone to be an extreme l*****t.

In the original posted article, one of the first (incorrect) assumptions of "Rmuse" is that all, or even a majority, if any, of Tea Party members harbor some extreme r****m that would cause them to be anti-black toward any president of African heritage. Far from the t***h. I believe that more than 90% of Tea Party members could immediately name at least one person of African heritage that they would support with both their money, and their v**e, for POTUS. Over half of us in the Tea Party, or even the Republican Party, could give you a list of desirable black people for the position of POTUS.

R****t? The color of a man's skin is far less significant to a conservative than a liberal. There's far more r****m on the left than the right, by anybody's count. I'll wager that, if asked, the majority of black v**ers would give, "Because, he's black." as their very first reason for v****g for Obama, .... and "He's gonna give us ??something??." as their second reason.

This article is the same l*****t BS, in easy sound bites, to keep the most lazy and ignorant of our society v****g for the same dishonest liberal politicians, who will keep promising more welfare for those v**es. Obama isn't the real problem, he is a symptom. The real problem is the large pool of very ignorant v**ers, who would v**e for someone as dangerous, dishonest, and unqualified to be POTUS, as Obama.
