I watched a video earlier today that listed among others.....Russia before c*******m, Turkey, Poland, Western Imperialistic advances, Cambodia, China, N**i Germany,just to name a few, who, in the last century, after confiscating the targeted peoples weapons, k**led of their own people.....

250,000,000 plus. Add soldiers that died and the number jumps to over 300,000,000. Folks....that's over 1/4+ of a BILLION souls k**led by their own governments !!! AND were defenseless because they gave up their guns. You say NOOOO!!! That could never happen here !!!!! Let me tell you, that is ALSO what those helpless souls thought too.
While we were all involved in the Parkland shooting, 11 black children ( 7 to 17 Yrs old) were k**led by drive by shooter gang members. Why was this not mentioned in the media??That's almost as many as Parkland in a 2 week period. The difference is Fla kids are white, these other kids are non white. The media showed white mothers crying over their dead children, but there are thousands of black mothers ( and other races) crying over their dead children every weekend in the inner cities.
What is the difference you ask? Gun control. The agenda of the media and the left is to do away with private citizens owning firearms, a right guaranteed us not just by the Constitution but a GOD given right that every person has to defend themselves and their loved ones. Sad but true, John Q Public is more upset with white kids being k**led than inner city black (and other) kids.
That's why you didn't hear about 11 members of a Hispanic family being slaughtered in Chicago because at the time, the media was all about Travon Martin being shot by a white man ( who turned out to be half Hispanic).
It doesn't take a genus to figure this out !!

OK I agree one is too many, BUT,.......there are over FIVE MILLION AR-15's in this country alone. That leaves four million, nine hundred thousand, nine hundred and eighty six AR-15's that wern't used in mass shootings.
Plus, over THREE THOUSAND teen deaths per year are attributed to cell phones.
In 2010 almost THIRTY EIGHT THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED TWENTY NINE teens died from drug overdose.
Also in 2010, FOUR THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED teens died due to abuse of alcohol.

NOW....seven children and teens are k**led each day by guns. That comes out to TWO THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED FIFTY FIVE underage deaths in an average year. That's ONE CHANCE IN ONE HUNDRED SEVENTY SIX THOUSAND that a teen will die by any kind of firearm.
A teens chance of getting k**led due to a cell phone is ONE IN EIGHT HUNDRED SEVENTY FIVE. This is a way...WAY higher risk, don't you think?
SIX OF EVERY ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND teens will die from drug overdose. So, far more teens k**l themselves with drugs and alcohol...FAR more than die of gunfire.

My point is...the AR-15 is a pretty safe item where teenagers are concerned.
Many...many...MANY...MANY more teens are k**led by drugs, alcohol, or even cell phones that by ANY kind of firearm.

So, before I state why I need an AR-15, where is the outcry to protect our teens from these deadly evils?

On another note....SIX HUNDRED FIFTY TWO THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED THIRTY NINE a******ns were performed in 2014. That's a rate over TWO HUNDRED FIFTY FIVE times MORE often than a teen being shot by ANY kind of firearm. Plus it is murder.
And too, how many teens commit suicide each year because of bullying, an act that can be easily be stopped?

Now....why do I need an AR-15? I don't. I had the money and I wanted one. I heard that Obama was going to ban them, too. So I bought one. It has NEVER k**led anything. As a matter of fact, none of my gun collection has EVER k**led anybody !!! I figure in case of an electromagnetic pulse or an invasion by a foreign power, (Red Dawn was completely believable), I have a good chance of living longer and staying safer than I would without my firearms. I am also an armed security officer. No matter what the circumstances, I pray each day that I NEVER have to use ANY of my weapons against another person.

Long winded I know, but if you are really interested in saving teen lives, then why not attack what really gets 'em, and it ain't just guns (which are just a small part). Should we not be concerned with the greatest k**lers of teens?

POTUS is outlawing bump stocks, purchases of firearms under 21 years of age, and purposing a much stiffer background check. Soooooo......I wonder what the reaction will be for the dems in D.C. and and the libs on OPP? Will he get credit from those that h**e him? Will they come out in favor of no gun control just for spite. Will they so dumbstruck that they will remain silent? Will they, as always, find only fault with anything POTUS does. This is going to be interesting to say the least.
BTW I am a gun owner, an armed security officer, and a firm believer in the 2nd Amendment.

I heard that God does not exist in linear time from an astrophysicist....sorry that I can't remember his name. In linear time, for us at least, we exist only in the second that exists now, because a second ago exists only in our memory, and one second ahead of us cannot be experienced until it becomes the second that exists now. You can't be k**led by a bullet that was fired yesterday, or by one that will be fired tomorrow until tomorrow becomes now. God does NOT exist in this time frame, but has access to any time because he created it.

Since matter, visible or dark, cannot be destroyed, it will always be with us. Antimatter may not exist in large quantities anymore, but that doesn't mean that small amounts of it don't exist in sparse areas of space, at least until it contacts matter.

OK. Yes, we live in linear time and God does not, so he can see our beginning, our middle, and our ending. However, allah only lives in the imaginings of misguided men and not in any reality or plane of existence. He is not real.
I don't know about what you said about dark matter. From what I gather, ( and I'm no expert), all we know about it is that it exists and has atomic weight and therefore creates gravity. While we can't see it, collect it, experiment on it, or even identify it, we know it MUST be there because of the interactions of heavenly bodies with each other that would be different if it didn't exist.
I can see you like science and all, but beware because mankind does NOT know everything.

A true Christian is supposed to be and is one who has received salvation by the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and tries to emulate Him in their life by trying to follow His teachings.
