You're right, the Democrats, who claim to e "tolerant", are the most intolerant group out there. They think that every one should be tolerant of all their policies, but anyone that doesn't agree with them about anything is an " ist", they have a name for each. Fine, but what I really don't get is, how is it not r****t to judge a person for being white, or not sexist to judge a person for being male, or not wrong to judge a person for their sexual orientatoin if their heterosexual? I'm too narrow minded to see how prejudice and discrimination isn't wrong if it's directed at those who aren't minority status. Either discrimination is wrong r it's not, and I think it IS,no matter who the target is.

It is as if it never took place now..Then it was a horrific injustice everyone was at first upset about and then as Castro closed off communication and everyone went their separae ways what no one knew about was to also give up on those people and their way of life..The embargo of everything simply made Cuba, in theory, just disappear..Castro as evil as they come did unmerciful things to his own people...Fleeing the only means for many to survive......

The left has a long history of lionizing Cuba's education and health, while ignoring or downplaying the island's poverty and dictatorship. They may be sk**led in basic education but they still die earlier!! May well be that a literate population is relatively highly valued by both dictatorial and democratic government. When newspapers are tightly controlled by the government, having the populace read the government propaganda seem like a good thing. But when it comes to life expectancy—an excellent proxy for the standard of living in general and health of the populace in particular—dictatorships can't hold a candle to democracies.
