Declaring NATO obsolete and saying he’s not sure he’d honor its mutual defense agreement.
Telling the people of Puerto Rico that he’s not sure how much longer the US will be willing to pay for their disaster recovery.
Calling c*****e c****e a Chinese h**x.
Announcing the location of battleship groups and submarines deployed near Korea, which half-reveals some of our strategy to North Korea. Claiming, on the other, that “a whole armada is headed toward Korea,” when in fact it was 8,000 miles away and sailing in the opposite direction.
Leaving key government positions unfilled, including ambassadorships and under-secretary positions in the state department for key areas of the world that are critical to our foreign policy.
Implicitly endorsing the murderous campaigns of the President of the Philippines against drug dealers, instead of following judicial process.
Engaging in a screaming match with his own party’s Senate Majority Leader.
Sitting down and apparently working out a deal with the leaders of the opposition party and then, a few days later, tweeting that he didn’t mean it.
Blowing off his daily security briefings on the grounds that “I’m smart enough.”
Telling the Navy to ditch a new digital system for electronic catapults on aircraft carriers and “return to goddam steam” because digital is “too hard to understand.”
Approving a special operations mission that had been strongly recommended against by the previous administration, resulting in the predictable loss of a Navy SEAL and then turning around and saying “The generals lost him” (and this was after saying “I’m smarter than the generals”).
Firing the Director of the FBI because he won’t squelch an investigation and then publicly announcing that the reputation of the FBI is in tatters.
Promoting a travel ban whose restricted countries don’t account for a single terrorist who has attacked the United States.
Saying it’s “d********g that the press can print just anything.”
There are others, but these should do for a start.

I have wondered for a goodly time if keeping my handgun close to my bed is wrong. I have it in case someone breaks into my house. I intend to use it just as this old man did for the same purpose. Maybe of that age fail to be as afraid as most think we should be. I am sure the intruders got to him and earned a bullet or two and he only gave them one and k**led one of them with it. It is exciting, to me, to see that I was 17 when the Korean Action broke out and another about the same age took out a burglar who broke into his house.

Just think, if THEY had managed to take our guns from us the old man would have had to fight them with his bare hands. Maybe all those Dems who want our guns so badly are working for the bad guys.

What to do if you fall into a conversation with someone about the terrorist attacks who doesn't believe in retaliation:

1. Engage in conversation, and ask if military force is appropriate.
2. When he says "No," ask, "Why not?"
3. Wait until he says something to the effect of "Because that would just cause more innocent deaths, which would be awful and we should not cause more violence."
4. When he's in mid sentence, punch him in the face.
5. When he gets back up to punch you, point out that it would be a mistake and contrary to his values to strike you, because that would be awful and he should not cause more violence.
6. Wait until he agrees, and has pledged not to commit additional violence.
7. Punch him in the face again, harder this time.
8. Repeat steps 5 through 7 until he understands that sometimes it is necessary to punch back.

Donald Trump is a teatoataler, and has no history, at least that I am aware of of substance abuse. He has said publicly he has avoided inbibing after seeing his brothers tragic death as a result of alcoholism. Accepting that this remains the case it is difficult to explain his recent inability to speak in complete sentences and the pronounced slurring of words in his disjointed speech on Israel. Aphasia can have many causes ranging from traumatic brain injury, brain tumors and stroke to the onset of dementia or Alzheimer’s. Obviously someone with diminished mental capacity has no business serving as president, especially someone who is impulsive and inconsistent. As Muellers investigation gets closer and closer to Trump the right wing nutters just squeal like piglets about Clinton. Trump is in trouble up to his eyeballs and no matter how much he and his apologists lie and deflect, the t***h is his enemy and it will bring him down. Mueller now has the finance records of his loans from Russia via Deutsche Bank. Trumps lawyers at first lied about the matter, but now it has been confirmed. Can you Imagine when a team of forensic accountants pour over Trumps books? He realy has no way out of this mess. I guess he can start a war with North Korea or Iran to take the focus off his troubles, but he will eventually pay the piper.

Most Americans agree that we have too much division and need a president who represents the interests of all Americans not just the gilded few and special interests. They are also tired of identity politics and the deluge of propaganda and f**e news from our overseas adversaries. We need someone to run against President Pence in 2020 who seeks justice above politics and puts country before party. Someone who is tough but evenhanded, someone who encourages bipartisan cooperation, someone with a long track record of public service. That man is Robert Mueller.
