Nearly 50 people, including congressional lawmakers and current and past aides, say they have personally experienced sexual harassment on Capitol Hill or know others who have, CNN is reporting.
According to the news network, sexual harassment is pervasive throughout Congress.

And CNN revealed there is a "creep list," consisting of lawmakers known for inappropriate behavior. The list is passed by word-of-mouth and includes male members known for everything from making sexually suggests comments and seeking physical relations.
The unwritten list is made up primarily of those House members, notorious for inappropriate behavior, CNN reported.
"Amongst ourselves, we know," a former Senate aide told CNN referring to sexual harassers. "There is a certain code amongst us, we acknowledge among each other what occur."

Women working on the Hill say elevators are often the place where staff and members target females. They say they have been advised to stop riding alone with men if possible, CNN said.
Capitol Hill is described by one Senate aide as "a sort of old school, Wild West workplace culture that has a lot of  'work hard, play hard' ethos and without the sort of standard professionalism that you find in more traditional workplaces."

With "so many young women" working on Capitol Hill, many of the men "have no self-control," one ex-House aide told CNN.
Some of the women interviewed by CNN specifically cited a Texas congressman for inappropriate behavior, while more than a half dozen named a California congressman for pursuing women staffers, the news network said.
CNN did not name any lawmakers since the stories were unverified.

The Committee on House Administration is meeting on Tuesday for a hearing on harassment on Capitol Hill, The New York Times reported.
And the Times noted, it too interviewed more than 50 people and found sexual harassment has been an occupation hazard on Capitol Hill.

That’s disturbing, Moldy. Perhaps the only remedy is segregating Capital Hill according to g****r...? Nah, that won’t work either, because according to the progressive left, we can change our g****r at any given moment.

“False narrative”? I implore you to read Blade Runner’s post. But keep trying to push your false narrative that banning guns will somehow end all mass shootings.

Why? There’s no evidence to support their accusations. As of now, this is a classic example of “he said/she said”.

True, not enough time before the e******n, but there’s still plenty of time for these people to have their day in court. Would you think it fair if you weren’t hired for a job because someone accused you of something that you know you didn’t do, or would you like to have your side of the story heard?

I don’t necessarily think they did bribe them, I just wouldn’t put it past them. The party has no platform to run on, they are collapsing, and like any animal, it will do what it thinks is necessary to survive.

Just don't say "innocent until proven guilty" because by that standard you would elect anyone who committed a crime right now, including the Vegas shooter, who has not had time to go to trial.

“Committed a crime right now”? You know Moore committed these crimes, right now? Or are you basing your decision on emotion?
I’ll say it all day long, because it’s the foundation of our criminal justice system, and I’m not willing to throw it away over unfounded accusations. I don’t care if it involves the pope or the homeless guy sleeping under a bridge. We are all innocent until proven guilty. I hope you can see here that I’m not directly defending Moore, I’m defending the American citizens’ right to due process.

The circumstances of the Vegas shooter is an entirely different animal. He was found in the very room the shooting came from, along with a whole bunch of other guns. That’s probable cause...

Why would these women uproot their own lives by making this up? To try to swing an e******n? Does that sound logical to you? The Dems convinced these women to make up a lie to beat Roy Moore? Really????

Why is this so out of the realm of possibility for you? Look, the democrat party is flopping like a fish out of water, they’re on life support. It’s already been shown that the Dems are not above rigging an e******n. And it wouldn’t surprise me in the least to find out the DNC is bribing these women. Especially when we found out one of these women has already been caught lying when it comes to allegations such as these. It’s unfortunate that you’re willing to disregard the foundation of our criminal justice system of “innocent until proven guilty” in favor of unsubstantiated accusations being all that’s necessary. There’s no reason he can’t be elected, then have his day in court, and if proven guilty, be removed from the position.

”Tony Podesta’s lavish art collection is coming down off the walls at the Podesta Group, as the lobbying firm — among the largest and most powerful in Washington — prepares to close up shop. Workers started removing dozens of pieces in Podesta’s collection of photography and other artworks from the walls of the firm on Thursday, the same day Kimberley Fritts, the firm’s longtime chief executive, abruptly resigned, according to a Podesta Group staffer.

Fritts is starting her own firm and intends to bring many of the firm’s top lobbyists with her, according to seven Podesta Group staffers, who spoke on condition of anonymity to describe the situation candidly. But less than two weeks after Podesta stepped down as chairman, the firm he founded 30 years ago may soon shut its doors, with staffers unsure if they’ll be paid after next week.
“The firm as it existed is essentially over,” one Podesta Group staffer said. “The vast majority of people are going their own way.” At an emotional staff meeting late Thursday afternoon, Fritts told staffers they could clear out their offices and said that Wednesday might be their last payday. “We will try to compensate you on the 30th, but we can’t make any promises,”

Fritts said, according to one staffer who was in the meeting. Podesta tapped Fritts as his successor last week, hours after an indictment was unsealed charging Paul Manafort and his deputy, Rick Gates, with breaking foreign lobbying law. Special counsel Robert Mueller is investigating Manafort, President Donald Trump’s former campaign chairman, as part of his probe into Russia meddling in the 2016 e******n. The indictment accused Manafort of hiring the Podesta Group — identified as “Company B” — to lobby for an ostensibly independent nonprofit that “was under the ultimate direction” of the Ukrainian president, his party and the Ukrainian government. Neither Podesta nor the Podesta Group has been charged publicly with any crimes. Fritts didn’t respond to a request for comment. Podesta referred questions to a spokesperson. “Tony and Kimberley worked together for 22 years,” the spokesperson said in a statement to POLITICO. “He has tremendous affection, respect, and admiration for her and hopes that she and her team of former Podesta Group colleagues will build a firm that is even more successful than the Podesta Group.”

Fritts had been expected to relaunch the Podesta Group under a new name in the days after Podesta stepped down. But she instead announced in the meeting on Thursday that she was leaving to start her own firm after negotiations with Podesta broke down. Her last day was Friday, according to Podesta Group staffers. Fritts is now hustling to find new office space and get her new firm off the ground. Staffers, meanwhile, are struggling to figure out what will happen to the Podesta Group with Fritts gone and Podesta — an outsized presence in Washington known for his flamboyant ties and ubiquity at Democratic fundraisers — nowhere to be found. While Podesta has stepped down as chairman, he remains the Podesta Group’s sole owner. Staffers say they haven’t received any word from him about what will happen to his firm next week.

“I kind of feel like the ball’s in his court after last night,” one Podesta Group staffer said, referring to Podesta. “His name’s on the door. It’s his firm.”Staffers are wondering why a firm that brought in $24 million last year suddenly can’t pay their salaries, and why Podesta and Fritts were unable to strike a deal to t***sfer ownership of the firm. “There’s a lot of anger at Tony because of that,” one Podesta Group staffer said. Some Podesta Group lobbyists are now planning to join Fritts at her new firm, which The New York Times reported on Friday would be named Cogent Strategies. Others are considering joining rival lobbying firms or starting their own shops. One lobbyist, Paul Brathwaite, sent a note to clients last week announcing he was starting his own firm, Federal Street Strategies. In interviews, several Podesta Group staffers said they’d keep lobbying for their own clients regardless of whether the lights are on in the Podesta Group’s offices on G Street next week.

“I’ve talked to clients and explained what the situation was,” said one Podesta Group staffer. I’m going to keep working for them. We’ll figure out the formality of where my desk is and who’s paying my paycheck between now and Wednesday.”
But rival lobbying firms are pursuing the more than 80 clients that the Podesta Group boasted as recently as September. Two of the Podesta Group’s highest-paying clients, Wells Fargo and Oracle, have cut ties with the firm, although several others said last week that they were sticking with the firm for now. Other firms are eyeing the Podesta Group’s lobbyists, too. Ivan Adler, a lobbying headh****r, said he’d heard from at least half a dozen firms looking to snag Podesta Group talent. “I expect there will be more soon,” Adler wrote in an email. Those who expect to join Fritts — known affectionately around the firm as as “KF” — at her new firm are excited about the prospect of a fresh start, several Podesta Group staffers said. But it’s clear that it won’t be everyone. Fritts has arranged for headh****rs to come to the firm and help those who aren’t headed to her new shop find jobs. “Her No. 1 priority is trying to take care of folks,” one staffer said.
Still, two Podesta Group staffers said the meeting Thursday, when Fritts announced her plan to launch the new firm, rubbed them the wrong way.

“We walk into the room and there’s Champagne bottles and glasses in the room, as if it’s a celebration,” said one Podesta Group staffer. Another staffer called it “in poor taste.” Other staffers, though, said that while there was booze at the meeting, the mood was anything but celebratory.

“It wasn’t happy clanking,” a third staffer said. “It was an Irish funeral.”

Trump promised: Repeal ACA (Failed) Drain the swamp (Failed) Tax reform which is not tax reform looks more like deficit funding tax breaks for the corporate And wealthy elite. Infrastructure bill not mentioned if Tax bill if passed another Republican deficit funded bill. Build that wall Mexico pays. (Wrong) if passed another deficit funded bill. K**l DACA with a EO (Wrong) just shoved the DACA problem with the Republican Lead Congress at this point totally ignored. (SO THE GOP AGENDA OF BORROW AND SPEND WILL CONTINUE.)

But the nation is enjoying a strong economy that was just a continuation of the Obama administration. Trump supporters enjoy the fact that the stock market has gone up with hopes of cutting corporate tax rates. The stock market has always been one of the gauge’s as to how successful a president has been. They are ready to put Trump on Rushmore. Well under Obama 127 all time highs and the Dow went up 140%. But Trump goes to Rushmore Obama goes to the toilet. What’s the difference I believe one guy is white the other is black.

So I took a look at a few items driving job growth. Trump brags repeatedly overstates his job creation. He constantly brags that he created 45,000 new mining jobs when facts show only 800 jobs. But his major EO deregulating is opening public land for coal mining and allowing the Coal industry to dump there waste in Nearby streams and rivers.

But renewables is creating jobs at 12 times faster than the rest of the country Over the last 10 years Solar, Wind, Hydro, Nuclear, Bioenergy has employed approximately 3.4 million Jobs either directly or indirectly. But Trump with his EO has done everything to distory g***n e****y but yet he takes credit for those jobs. But the Daycare nonsense continues.

OPP Trump supporters deny the Obama stimulus where he invested $90 billion in clean energy investments with tax incentives, $150 billion in low interest loans. But Obama was bad Trump is taking credit for Obama jobs.

Now let’s look at the Trump accomplishments that Trump brags about. EO directing the EPA to start the legal process to eliminate the Clean Powers Act. He walked away from the Paris Accord. The Paris accord made up of all major c*****e c****e scientists that have indicated we have to keep the planet from warming more than 3.6 degrees the point at which the worlds scientist say that earth will be irrevocably locked into a future of severe droughts, more frequent and increase of severity of storms, massive rain falls, flooding, sea levels rising, and major food shortage. But deregulation of coal produces the jobs. Wow MAGA with the talking point we always have hurricanes flooding and droughts but not as frequent and severe.

But Trump and his 32% ignore the rest of the world now being the only Country not to stay with the Paris Accord. But is Trump right and the rest of the world wrong. But Trump surly takes credit for the jobs created.

Here is some more of the Trump nonsense.

EO to revoke the Obama era Flood standards for for federal infrastructure projects by building to the higher flood standards. Just put it back together with federal funds and wait for the next storm and do it over again. What a great jobs creator.

EO eliminating the ban on Dow Chemical insecticide Chlorpyrifos which the EPA found the compound posed a risk to fetal brain and Nervous System. But republicans deny science and love legally k*****g people. Wow another job creator. How many jobs created with this EO

EO Canceled requirements for oil and gas companies to report methane emissions. To much paperwork and gives Trump his ability to deny having anything to do with destruction of our environment. This eliminated jobs but Trump brags about his job creation.

EO Revoked Rule that prevented local companies from dumping mining debris into local streams. Wow what a job created. Dump you’re garbage anywhere you want. Damm if I dumped my garbage on the interstate I would get arrested. Coal companies can dump there garbage anywhere they want. Thank President Trump you are a job creator.

EO Repeal a ban on gas drilling in the Atlantic and Arctic, due to the methods of exploration. Trump repealed Obama restriction of the use of seismic air guns for exploration. ( IT FIRES A LOUD BLAST THAT K**LS THE WALES AND FISH) but I guess it’s a form of k*****g which republicans love. There infatuations with death is amazing to me expecially There gun culture. K**l Medicaid k**l the ACA. They love mass k*****gs.

EO to withdraw any documentation for any federal agencies to include any mention of greenhouse gas emissions in all environmental reviews. So any of the environmental reviews that come out will have no mention of Greehouse emissions. I wonder how many jobs that creates.

Announced he will be blocking any payments to the Green Climate Fund to the UN. How many jobs created with this little stunt.

So these are what you call job creation by Trump. This is what Trump brags about creating jobs. But Trump supporters ignore the industry that he is attempting to destroy creating 12 times as many jobs but takes the credit.

(TIME AND TIME AGAIN I PLEAD WITH TRUMP SUPPORTERS TO READ THIS STUFF TRUMP AND THE GOP ARE DOING. YOU REFUSE TO READ LEGISLATION YOU LISTEN TO FOX AND TRUMP AND IGNORE WHAT HE IS ACTUALLY DOING.)

Now just in the field of healthcare. Where Trump tells you it’s a job k**ler. There is no evidence of any substantial job loss due to the ACA. But it has one of the largest job openings and future jobs in this country in the medical field due 27 million people now carrying health Insurance. Not to mention the median salary being $92,000 a year. Trump takes credit for these jobs while trying to take jobs away with the repeal of the ACA.

( BUT TRUMP CREATED 800 COAL MINING JOBS) open up Rushmore we have another guest.

The only alleged crime that Moore supposedly committed was fondling a 14 year old girl, no sexual intercourse having taken place. 35-Year-Old Man Sues His Mother After Being Evicted From Basement Of Her Home
Posted about 3 days ago

Duane Hollingsworth shuffles around the cramped confines of his temporary home–a tiny 5th wheel trailer filled with boxes containing clothes, personal effects, and other meager belongings. After spending his entire life dwelling in the basement of his mother’s home, she had finally become fed up with her unmotivated son and gave Hollingsworth the boot.

The unemployed 35-year-old who has never lived on his own was clearly distressed when I spoke with him Wednesday. “She’s destroyed my life”, he exclaimed bitterly, staring at the photo in his clenched fist; A photograph of his family during happier times.

Duane has 3 younger siblings who have since gone on with their lives and become successful, driven adults, but Duane’s life just never seemed to take off. He remained content with frittering away his days playing video games and watching anime cartoons; Things that are mostly enjoyed by children. Duane is an adult male who just absolutely refuses to grow up.

After the death of Duane’s father 2 years ago, his mother Janice gave him an ultimatum: Either get a full-time job, enroll in college, or find somewhere else to live. After a handful of paltry attempts to secure employment at various fast-food establishments, it was clear that Duane would rather spend his time nestled among My Little Pony figurines in a musky basement than actually work for a living.

“It was clear he wasn’t serious about making a living for himself”, Janice explained. “He always had some excuse and frankly all these excuses were wearing very thin. I just wanted him out so I could enjoy retirement after having lost my husband. He was becoming an enormous financial burden and didn’t seem to care. Duane wouldn’t budge. He would frequently lash out and blame his siblings and myself for his lot in life.”

Eventually the moment of reckoning finally arrived in January of this year. Janice gave Duane 30 days to find somewhere else to live. “It was 30 days of pure hell. He stormed around the house screaming and crying. I could not believe what a spoiled brat he was at 35 years years of age! He always resented me for having more children after he was born. I suppose he just thought he would be the baby forever, but that clearly is not a healthy way for an adult to live.”

Duane finally found a tiny trailer for rent on the outskirts of town. He is currently supporting himself by selling off his vintage action figures and other collectibles on Ebay. He has also began taking steps to sue his own mother for damages, pain and suffering, emotional trauma and illegal eviction, all to the tune of 750k.

“I have PTSD now”, he exclaimed during our short interview. Duane sat across from me looking distressed and disheveled, wearing grimy gray sweatpants and a threadbare Power Rangers t-shirt which was clearly too small for his hulking frame. “My mother is going to pay for kicking me out! I had squatter’s rights! That was my lifelong home and my mother did nothing but torture me the whole time I was there! My parents neglected me when my other siblings were born so I totally deserve to stay there as long as I want! Nobody knows the hell I have endured!”

When questioned about the impending lawsuit being served up by her own son, Janice just shakes her head. “He only has himself to blame for his situation and obviously, he’s going to lose. Our only crime was being too nice and enabling this sort of behavior. Unfortunately, by coddling a weakling for far too long, I created a monster.”
