My reps are all bought and paid for. They do not give a rat's ass what I think. I have sent them emails before. The replies should have read: Thank you for your opinion but we will v****g the way our masters tell us to. You have a nice day while you can.

Yet, the people in my state continue to elect these people buying into the government's propaganda. In my opinion we have the world's most ineffective government.

No, I'm not talking about ISIS. The t***h is, the Paris attacks did not increase our risk from ISIS anymore than the risk level that existed the day BEFORE those attacks. It just scared us and made us more paranoid. I'm talking about the real, everyday threats we face, that could k**l us tomorrow.

New age parents resisting v******tion, is one of those threats. Rubella is making a comeback, as well as tuberculosis, polio, plague and others. Not all of these can be attributed to lack of v******tion, of course, but those not v******ted who get those diseases, will result in stupid Doctors, responding to stupid people and making stupid decisions - that will pressure the v***ses to mutate - resulting in NONE of us being immune anymore.

Automobiles are being manufactured with more and more distractions built in, with more and more "dummy proof" features ( auto stop, etc. ), that convince drivers they need not pay as much attention to what they're doing. Add in the distractions of web surfing while driving ( aided by the "features" in the cars themselves ) - and the automobile is the most deadly weapon in our arsenal. We stand a higher chance of dying from a distracted driver, than any other method of instant death.

People in New Jersey, are still being blown up by corroded and leaking gas pipes. There is little, to nothing, being done anywhere else, to detect and replace aging and crumbling infrastructures that pose a deadly hazard.

Commercial medicine is resulting in more and more mistakes in hospitals and clinics, resulting in death - or worse. Healthcare is BIG business, and the pressure to maximize profits, results in faster turn arounds, decreased staffing, increasing reliance on technology, with the resulting inattentiveness evident on a daily basis. The advent of "super bugs", that is, anti biotic resistant strains of common bacteria, just makes the threat that much more severe. Being admitted to a hospital, or a same day surgery clinic - is playing a literal game of Russian roulette with your life - or the lives of your loved ones.

This will be my only mention of violent crime - that I'm not including it here - because THAT threat is made obvious on a daily basis. No, there are plenty of other threats a round, that no one is making a big deal of - but should. Autism is now prevalent at 1 in 45 children and we now know that v*****es are NOT the cause. My guess is, the incredible amounts of industrial chemicals we've been exposed to over the years, has mutated our genes, resulting in the phenomenal increase in diseases such as autism. There is now some research to support my guess - that I made 25 years ago. There are over 50,000 chemicals we are exposed to on a daily basis, in our food, shampoos, toothpaste and everything else - and to date, only 2500 of them have been tested for the long term health effects on the human body. That's one hell of a risk we're taking without a whimper. We're essentially human guinea pigs here - and we smile and give over our hard earned cash, for another go at the clinical trial.

If we are going to be paranoid, let's be paranoid about things that are MUCH more likely to k**l us - than some knot head terrorist somewhere, living out a psychotic fantasy of world domination. Besides, we have enough of our own folks living out such psychotic fantasies. We've put most of them in the Congress of the United States.
No, I'm not talking about ISIS. The t***h is, the ... (show quote)

I agree with most of your post. The only exception would be v*****es. Mothers of children stricken with autism are much more believable to me than a bought and payed for government and big pharm. I do not wish for any child in my family to be a lab rat for big pharm companies more interested in profit than safety.

I have often wondered: when we can't breath the air, drink the water, or eat crops grown from contaminated soil, what's the plan? To me the real threat is a corrupt government only interested in increasing profits for their masters. Any pollution will be allowed by these clowns as long as there is an increase in profits for the entities which own them.

I don't think r****m will ever be totally eliminated. It is human nature to fear what you do not understand The point I was trying to make is no political party can eliminate r****m. It is up to the individual to question their position. Political parties only reflect what they believe to be the position of the people v****g for them.If we change the way we look at people of different races, the money hunger, power hunger politicians have no choice but to change. That is if they want to keep receiving their ill gotten gains. R****m exists in both parties. If it did not we would not still be having the conversation in the 21st century. It is up to the people of a country to say this is unacceptable.

As individuals, we can bring about change in the collective views. If you feel you can't, why bother to v**e at all?

I am very surprised at the positions of Republican candidates running for president. With all the talk of cutting any and all social programs, we supposedly can't afford, how do they intend to pay for the deportation of all the i******s?

I believe anyone entering this country or staying past the date on their visa should be deported regardless of their country of origin. That said I need to know how much this will cost and how they plan to pay for this program. Of course we could always ask the Pentagon to return the billions they have stolen or ask everyone to pay their fair share of taxes.

We must secure our borders. I wish we could take in all the law abiding people who wish to come here. Unfortunately, we can not take care of our elderly, Vets, or disabled or provide jobs for our own citizens. We simply can not afford to continue taking in immigrants.

Why is it necessary for everyone to wear a label, and be painted into groups with a broad brush like this?

I do not believe as individuals any of us are all conservative or all progressive. I know I'm not. I am very conservative on the issues of gun control, don't want it, very conservative on immigration, we can't afford open borders, and very progressive on health care, taking care of Vets, and tax system which is fair for everyone.

It seems to me all we have now are representatives owned by the elite. None of them have any idea what it is like to own a small business or work for a living, while watching prices go up and wages go down. They are all so far removed from the average person, they have no idea how to solve the problems and most of them only care for the dollar bill. Both parties are bought and paid for. If you look closely both Democrats and Republicans make sure the elite are cared for. They are nothing more than the right or left hand of corporate America.

And Don, Bob and Ben had plenty of company. Goofy tax plans primarily benefiting the rich, will assure that little revenue comes in. Entitlements were under siege as well as any services to the poor. Both parties must take care of the people giving them billions for their campaigns. Ever noticed how the Democrats agree to most gifts to the the wealthy supposedly because they had to agree to get some help for the poor or how the Republicans will agree to fund an immigration plan as long as you give their masters a few perks along the way. The simple t***h is: Both parties are bought and paid for. Neither party cares about the people.

As long as we have a one party system, we will be ruled by the elite.

How did they accomplish this wondrous and marvelous ideal? They simply refuse to acknowledge it or call it something else. End R****m for the Right is to end complaints about discrimination, not the existence of such discrimination.

R****m exists in all countries. The only way to end it, in my personal opinion, is to stop defining people by race. An example would be: President Obama is the president of the United States not the Black president of the United State.

We talk a great deal about black on black, white on black or black on white violence. Does that really matter more than the fact that we have become a nation which relies upon violence to solve problems?

Is there discrimination in this country? Of course there is. Is it only directed at one race? Of course not. All people have preconceived ideas about other races. We need to work on all discrimination regardless of race, g****r, sexual preference, or economics.

To me a person is a person. Not all white people are evil and not all black people are evil. We are human beings which of course means each race has its' share of evil people. Weather we are right or left or somewhere in between, we perpetrate r****m by continuing to define people by their race.

If you truly want to end r****m, go out and meet people of all races. You will find most are just trying to live their lives with some dignity. It's just to easy to blame social problems on race.

Here is my opinion on the U.N. It was a good idea. However it has become little more than a political tool. Once again, what works on the drawing board may not work in the field. I do not feel any country has the right to influence the laws of another. We are not a one world government, yet. It may be time to consider just how useful the U.N is. Lately, it appears to me the U.N. is overstepping its' original purpose.

We no longer have a news media. We have spin doctors. Whichever target group a particular media outlet is using for ratings, will simply have their opinions backed up. It doesn't matter to a media group weather they report the t***h. It is simply that ad money. The more people they reach the higher the cost of an ad.

I personally check each story through all the media in this country and the media in other countries. Somewhere between all the BS lies the t***h. You just have to remember who you are dealing with.

Separation is very difficult for children esp. younger children. They sometimes feel it is their fault. "If I had been a better kid, Mom and Dad would be together."

I do not believe in lying to a child. However, one must consider the age of the child. A four year old can not understand the adult world. I agree with the person who stated, it sounds like Mom has decided to end the marriage. If that is the case, then explain Mom and Dad won't be living together anymore but they both love the child. D**gging it out only hurts the kids. No matter what happened between husband and wife, they must present a united front when it comes to the children. Rules must be the same at both houses.

I would just say you are spending time with Mom or you are spending time with Dad. Both houses should feel like the child's home. To me the person you are spending time with is more important than the location.

I do not know how to make this simpler: I do not accept your intellectual superiority. You are either a member of the this group or you benefit from being one of their tools which would truly be sad.

If you are so knowledgeable on so many subjects, why do you always resort to childish behavior? You seem to feel a need to call anyone who disagrees with you stupid. They have pills for that. I am sorry but not everyone in this country shares your rather warped views and until the corporate masters gain complete control, we have a right to voice our opinions.

I get better political debates from my teen age granddaughter. At least she can have an opinion without resorting to playground behavior. From this point on I shall simply ignore you.

We should have addressed this problem years ago. No country can have an open border. When people come here illegally we can not just welcome them with open arms. By doing so, we are lowering the quality of the life for both citizens and immigrants.

What is the cost of allowing these people to stay if we must subsidize them for life? If cost is our real concern, it seems cheaper to me to deport them. It is also insulting to the people who waited years to come here legally, followed the rules, and became citizens.

There are a great number of people who stay past their visas, also. They need to be deported as well. We need to put an end to the ridiculous law making a baby born here a citizen. What was a law to protect children has become a law to gain entry without going through the proper channels.

I wish we could welcome all those truly seeking freedom. The hard fact is we can't. We must control how many and from which countries we allow people to gain entrance to the U.S. I believe the first step is to enforce the laws. You come illegally, you get deported.

I believe this is more a case of some people feeling a badge places them above the law. We have allowed some policemen to get away with murder for years.

My heart goes out to the family of this father and child. There is no excuse for this. We must rid ourselves of all the bad cops both black or white. People fear the police now. Think how that effects the good cops. It must be hard to do this dangerous job, knowing that due to a few bad apples, a great number of people feel you are just another crooked cop.

We have allowed our police to become America's SS. I am fortunate in that where I live the police force are for the most part hard working, dedicated people, who have not forgotten the protect and serve portion of their jobs. We do have a citizens' review board which is not in name only. That may be one of the reasons our police departments are very careful who they hire. Citizens complaints are taken seriously and investigated.

Yep..lets get rid of all the big business people...so we have no more companies so no one that is now working we have a job. Do it. Then who will pay for all the "free stuff" that your Kenyan King has obligated us for the next 100 years to pay for?

You i***ts want the glass to be full without any water to put in it. Damned C****E!

If by Kenyan King you mean the duly elected President of the United States, didn't v**e for him There is a big difference between c*******m and democratic socialism. I am sorry your fifth grade teacher didn't teach you the difference but it is never to late to learn.

Big business sent most of the jobs overseas and in case you haven't noticed, they are now importing foreigners for the few well paying jobs left. They can afford to work cheaper with the aid provided to them by the i***ts we continue to re-elect. All of our so called representatives who accept large amounts of money from corporations are owned. These people do not make investments without a large return on their investments.

We only have one party in this country, the corporate party. Doesn't matter if you call yourself a Republican or a Democrat, when you accept large contributions you are owned and serve only the interests of your masters.

agreed. The only people who fear Democratic Socialism are the people who have enjoyed a free ride. No more tax breaks, no more corporations are people, and no more fat government contracts, health care not controlled by big pharm. or the insurance companies. Bernie will make an excellent President. At least unlike all the other Democrats and Republicans no one
owns him. His campaign funds come from the people.

Of course we can continue rule by the elite. Look what a great job they are doing.
