The Confederates who fired on Ft. Sumter, in South Carolina, could have told you a lot about how the federal govt. feels about such behavior.

The low h*****g f****l f**l fruit has pretty much been taken. The stuff that remains is either of poor quality or not readily accessible without risking incredible pollution disasters.

The BP gulf platform blow-out is a case in point. We jeopardized our sea food and beaches for ultra deep sea oil. BP gambled and the U.S. lost.

One of the major goals of the petro criminals is to socialize the risks and privatize the profits. This is what BP and the Koch brothers are all about.

Their philosophy is that if the peasants water becomes polluted, let them drink boutique wines.

The oil sands are the Canadian version of the La Brea Tarpits, toxic sludge, that would only be used by people whose options are running out. Same thing for shale oil and natural gas fracking.

President Obama, after the Nov. e******n will put this pipeline sludge project out of its misery (at least on the U.S. side of the border with Canada).

YAALO. Mr. Sterling was actually being nice about it. The only reason you are upset is because you have been programmed to believe that you are a victim.
The reason people like Sterling doesn't like b****s is because many of them behave in a manner that causes others to see them as offensive, petty, and clownish. If you behave like a clown, expect to be treated like one.

To those who have children getting ready start their road to a college education may I suggest they follow the plan of my youngest, now at the ripe old age of 33, daughter.

We had dinner with her, her husband, her 7 year old son and her 11 month (today) daughter to celebrate the completion of her Doctoral degree in Political Science. We get too to her commencement the end of next week.
Not bad for the child of a farm boy from Arkansas.
Before you Libs start thinking you have another one on your team, she is so conservative I almost feel like a centrist sometimes. Just had to say that.
Her student debt will never be paid off ...... SHE DOESN'T HAVE ANY!!! No, we, her parents did not pay her way, in fact, we were able to give her very little financial support.
She started working part time while in high school. She wanted a car so she saved up for a down payment, I helped her find a car and she made the payments her self even paying it off early. She sought out and applied for scholarships from schools and private organizations and what she didn't get covered she paid herself.
What I'm saying is, young people, if you are willing to put off some wants and work for it you don't have to go deep in debt to get an education. You will be a better person if you sacrifice something for it.

Since I doubt that many college agers read this site, some of you old folks may want to pass this on to them.
