If there kids were in the vehicle, why was the cop shooting Blake at all?!?!? All of the children could have sustained fatal injuries.

My grandfather (M) went to France to fight in WWI.
My father and two uncles (M) fought the Japanese in the South Pacific.
My eldest brother (F), two cousins, and my husband fought in Vietnam.
I'm not sure about the wars in the Middle East, but I think I heard that a few of my nieces and nephews were in one or some of them.
We've been able to trace the records on my mother's side back to at least 1720. We have forebears in the Revolution, the Civil War, and on the Trail of Tears.
My father, having been swiped off the Rez, has no family records.

Hey Hopi, my father lived in re-education schools for Indian boys for most of his childhood. On his 17th birthday, Pearl Harbor was destroyed. He signed up, and spent most of the next 13 years pulling submarine duty in the South Pacific. He left the Navy under honorary circumstances.
