The Republicans in the senate have the opportunity to call and question witnesses under oath. They can subpoena Biden, his son and whoever else they want and expose him for the corruption they and the president claim. If what they claim is true they can destroy Bidens chances and completely exonerate Trump proving his actions were above board, and his complaints of a witch hunt true. They have the v**es why not let the chips fall where they may? What could they be possibly be afraid of?

ADDITIONALLY.., Why didn't the House Democrats call H****r and Joe Biden to establish that President Trump had no reason to question whether they were implicated in exposing the full extent of their connection to suppressing Ukrainian corruption regarding Burisma? What could they be possibly afraid of?
I've followed the case closely and.., despite Democratic claims that NO evidence exists that supports the case against the Biden's and that the accusation was "widely dismissed" is COMPLETELY FALSE [see LIE]. The FACT is that, while it was reported.., a follow-up investigation was NEVER carried out.
Kevin, like his fellow libs.., want it BOTH ways.
In fact.., the ONLY UNCONTESTED case of "E******n I**********e" by a Foreign Government on behest of a political campaign was that of Hillary Clinton's [see Steele Dossier].

Face it Kevin.., you lost [see today's end to the charade].
Time to go back to your whining.

FUNNY.
while, i admit to being "haughty" and "hard core"..,
i'm UNQUESTIONABLY and PROVABLY of the "rightist" variety.

please provide ANYTHING i've written to suggest otherwise.

that'll NEVER happen because it's an ABSOLUTE LIE.

heck.., if Al Gore's predictions were true.., half of us would be dead already.

of course.., it doesn't help your position that the reliability of dire scientific predictions have historically been pathetically weak.

still.., good luck on yours.

You libs have no problem using the 1st Amendment to destroy the 2nd.
I assume, therefore, you would have no problem if conservatives used the 2nd Amendment to destroy the 1st.
I like to remind people that many of the Constitutional Delegation wanted the Right to Bear Arms to be Amendment #1.

Nothing personal sir/ma'am, but this attitude is a great part of what is wrong with our world. People looking down their noses at each other.

Without the "trades", you "formally educated" types wouldn't have a building to sit in, and gain your superiority over all of us "reglar" folks.
If the heat, or a/c went out in your classroom, would your professor, or that piece of framed paper on your wall be able to cool it down, or warm it up?
If the plumbing, or electrical went out, could your degree fix it?
Do you have your car repaired by an economist, politician, or lawyer?

Or, do you just sit on your throne of superiority, and expect that that you have "inferiors" to handle these things for you?

This post reeks of snobbery in my opinion. br Not... (show quote)

your attitude is a bit snobbish itself.

i don't "look down" on tradesman but.., for a "tradesman" to suggest that i need to "educate myself" as to politics and the law [where this conversation began] is ridiculous coming from someone who is CLEARLY less "educated" in those areas than i.

it would be equally irrational for me to tell a tradesman to "educate himself" if i disagreed with how he practiced his trade which i know far less about.

what truly "reeks" is your jumping into an ongoing dialogue ignorant of its' roots.

[quote=eagleye13]"4 years College [BA from University of San Francisco with 2 Majors -- Economics a Political Science"

LiberalArts! LOL That figures.

Then you became a Lawyer? Figures

I spent over 40 years as an HVAC design engineer. Primarily designing High Tech industrial systems for companies such as; McDonnell Douglas, Boeing, Fluor corp, and various Design Engineering companies.

Sorry Chamuco; but your ego is getting to be very obnoxious.

BTW; We can now all see why you are an anti-Trumper. Putting down blue collar workers, while being an egoistical parasite.[/quote]

I admit to having a large ego. Certainly, yours is no smaller.
Additionally.., it was YOU who first questioned MY intelligence level proving even "blue collar" workers can believe themselves smarter than others.

I do agree with you and Shakespeare about lawyers. Loved going to school but NEVER practiced a day.

As for your anti-trump comment..., this is 100% untrue.

I've supported Trump from the beginning and believe him to be correct on EVERY important issue.

I believe in the "Swamp" and "F**e News.

In my 71 years on this planet I have NEVER v**ed Democrat and ALWAYS v**ed Republican [except my one shameful failing by v****g for Perot which, unfortunately, helped get Clinton elected].

I volunteered for Vietnam and served 2 tours.

I'm PROUD of my "patriotism" and PROUD to be an American.

I haven't an inkling why you would classify me as anti-Trump.

Please refer me to ANYTHING I might have written to give you that WHOLLY INCORRECT impression.

Well I normally do not mention my education but since you made an assumption;
I have an AA in Heating Ventilating and Air conditioning (HVAC) from Harbor City College. (2 years)
I have a BS from Cal Poly, SLO, in Engineering Technology, HVAC option. (4 years)

Can you count, Chamuco? LOL

Sorry. I don't consider HVAC training "formal" education by any stretch of the imagination.
It's closer to a trade than a profession.

That's why I didn't include my 2 year Army Engineering training at Ft. Belvoir following two tours in Vietnam as "formal" education.
It involved maintaining and repairing tactical 50K generators powered by Cummins Diesel Engines.

Although, it purportedly equaled 2 yrs in College..., like your education.., it was pure "trade school" stuff.., so, like Kindergarten.., I didn't include it in my "formal" education total like you seem to be comfortable doing. Hey.., if I was an Air-Conditioning repairman.., I'd probably feel the need to do so myself.

My "formal" education included 12 yrs HS followed by 4 years College [BA from University of San Francisco with 2 Majors -- Economics a Political Science] followed 4 years Law School [Juris Doctorate] from McGeorge School of Law.

BINGO!!!!
Thanks for proving my point!
"20 yrs."?
LOLOLOL

BTW; Are you including kindergarten?

sorry.., was unaware i was dealing with a blithering i***t.

your response made no sense whatsoever.

btw... kindergarten would make it 21 for me.

i don't usually include it but can see that it would be important to someone
limited to a high school education (12 years) like yourself.

Chamuco; it is time you discover the important differences between a Republic (our Republic) and a Democracy; instead of the similarities.

It seems you have been schooled by liberals. Do some studying.

I seriously doubt your formal education equals my 20 yrs.
Additionally.., liberals are the one's clamoring for the elimination of the E*******l College which is the cornerstone of our Republic form of government.

I'm surprised that so many people on this thread are unaware that a "republic".., like a "parliamentary" system.., is a FORM OR TYPE OF DEMOCRACY.

It's like arguing that a male is not a human being because he's not a female.

Like "democracies" there are different "forms" of human being-ness.., male and female.., neither of which are more or less human than the other.

To argue that a Republic is not a Democracy is pure ignorance and reflective of an extreme need for a civics class.

Since trump just sided with Hong Kong and pissed China off, the chance of a new trade deal may have just vanished like the t***h when trump or his con supporters try to spin a lie.

That said, if trump is telling the t***h that China's economy is much worse than the U.S economy, and that China is paying billions and billions and billions of dollars into the treasury, the question becomes why should trump ever end his tariffs on China, in fact why not increase both the rate of tariffs and expand the number of products affected by the trump tariffs.

In a few years or less, trump could bankrupt China, and lower taxes here even further. And pay down the ever increasing trump monthly deficit and ever increasing national debt.

Sounds like a plan that all trump cons should be able to support, so why won't trump do it?
Since trump just sided with Hong Kong and pissed C... (show quote)

Trump has done MORE to counter China's economic aggression than all the previous presidents combined.
Still, to the deranged liberal minded like yourself.., such represents a Trump failure.
Nice try.
