The three classifications of documents were Biblical Canonical, Apocryphal, and pseudepigrapha. The Reformers reject the Apocrypha because the
books are not accepted as canon by the Jews, in THEIR Bible (Old Testament). Catholics had the Apocrypha, as well as variants like Bel and the D**gon(Serpent)
located in Daniel. Tough work sorting out the variants was made easier by mathematical patterns, augmented later by computer analysis.
