No, not at all. Jesus, the Messiah, will return at a time of God's choosing. At that time many faithful Jews will rebuild the Temple in Jerusalem and will believe in Him. They will inherit eternal life just as faithful Christians will. God is a loving, merciful God who gives us every chance to live eternally with Him.

When man was created he was sinless. He had everything that he needed in the Garden of Eden. God gave Adam a mate, Eve, together they could roam freely, pet the animals, eat all they wanted. The only thing they were told not to do was to eat the fruit of the tree of the KNOWLEDGE of good and evil. Like all humans, when told not to do something, they wanted to try that fruit. Once they did that they knew right from wrong. From that time forward all people have been born with a sinful nature. As time went on man became more and more sinful. God decided to start over so he flooded the earth and only Noah found favor with God. When Noah and his family let the ark the winning began again. Finally God chose Abraham to be the beginning of a line of people we know as the Jews. Over the centuries God save His people from danger, let them lose battles, win battles and sin over and over again. He would tell them how to win but they would diobey His directives. Finally God saw that His people needs a way out of their sins. Up to this point they had to give sacrifices of pure, unspotted animals. Now He sent His Son to teach them and they h**ed Him. Some Jews chose to follow Jesus but so Did many, many Gentiles. The leaders of the Jews h**ed Jesus so much they wanted to k**l Him. They got their chance and Jesus was crucified on a cross. All who believe that He is the way, the, t***h, and the life can become a child of God. We must confess our belief in, Jesus as God's Son, be baptized and try to live our neighbor as ourselves. When we sin we can go to Jesus in prayer and our sins will be forgiven. That is why we call ourselves CHRISTIANS.8

Jesus didn't say the United States should take care of the world. We have been doing that for my lifetime, plus paying other countries part in the UN. Every nation has poor people. Jesus said that we would always have poor people. We can only do so much. It is wonderful that people have a heart for the poor, but charity does begin at home. Once we take care of the poor who want to be helped, then we can work on the rest of the world.

Not this year. So far the southeast has had about 3 weeks of temps below freezing at night and today we had the first 60 day since Christmas. This week will be a little warmer and rainy. However, next week it will be freezing again.

You are so right about the price of propane. We use it for heat and we also use electric heaters. Too. Our home is about 250 yrs old. We have spent so much to get it comfortable to live in. We could have probably built a smaller, tighter house but it has been in my husband's family for 5 generations. Thank heaven, we got it all done shortly after we retired. Now we enjoy not being cold or hot.

It hurts to think that anyone in the Blessed South has to do without but it is a great place to live. I live in southeast Georgia, and with the exception of 10 yrs when I was away in school and first married, I've lived here all my life. I was born in my grandparents home on there farm. I married the boy " next door" and we live in his family home., my three girls all learned to drive tractors and help on the farm. We were poor as church mice until the girls were grown. Now we don't have all we want but we have all we need. I lived and went to school in Maryland which isn't really north but city life is not for me. I love the Blessed South!

Smaller schools
When there are more than 200 kids in a school, the first day of school is traumatic.
Every year gets scarier with tests and homework, homework.homework. teachers need to be allowed to teach with freedom to be creative. Teachers should be able to tell a child when something is morally wrong. As soon as the federal government gets out of education and lets the states handle it we will see some change.

If the MSM keeps going with their lies and negative reporting on POTUS they are going to be so unbelievable that they will all fail. There are a few newspapers that print the t***h and some TV channels. One day NYT, WASHPOST, etc will go out of business because they can't be trusted.

When did our country become so divided? Why is there so much finger pointing about where our children go to school. My three girls went to private school because we wanted them to. No, we really couldn't afford to send them so we did without much of what we wanted until they were graduated. That was our choice and why should others criticize us. It's all about what a family is willing to do for their children to have a good education. Our county didn't have a very good school system then. No they have built the system up and I would have no problem sending my kids there. In fact some of my grandchildren attend public school and do really well. Just do your best for your kids and give others the same freedom
