There has always been corruption, and reforms.
From the New Testament Bible, gospels, acts, and all the Letters and epistles to our present age.
Protestant as well as Catholic.
It is MAN who is CORRUPT's and not Jesus's Church.

The word protestant derives from those who protested the Bible being read in Latin, a language that most people didn't understand. Also at least in the middle ages, the RCC got rich off it's parishioners.
Royality used the church to get rid of their unmarrirable daughters as nuns and were pretty much just s***es.
Henry the VIII found out that the Cardinal Thomas Wosley had a better house than he did and took it away him, so he was doing alright.

These are historical facts as far as I know.
The printing press helped bring about the protestants, because they could read the words for themselves, although many could still not read in any language, they DID understand spoken English.
The middle ages were a time of corruption for the RCC, and Wosley was a prime example.
I posted not to upset you but to balance your views as you seem to have particular hatred for protestants, and they only came on the scene after acknowledging the corruption that they saw.
