katz, What is good about Obama is that he has for the most part fought against those who would try to blame him and remove him from office. My question is: What has the Republican party done to help him move the country forward? NOTHING! Because they want him to fail. Mitch McConnell did not want the Pres. to have a second term. 430 filibusters later Pres. Obama is still trying to get something going. What job bills have left the 'house'? NONE. They want the Pres. to fail. They want to blame him for the economy, the wars, immigration as they sit on the side lines and smile. The ACA is there to give everybody health insurance not just to those that can afford it. Republicans want ACA repealed so they can put in their own program of vouchers. They would give a voucher to a 75 year old cancer victim to buy insurance. Good Luck with that. Die quickly!!!!!!!!

Reality is not false it is genuine...not imaginary or ideal. My proof is everyday actuality that winds up in our history books. Actuality is reality....presently...in fact; nevertheless. The only angels we need are those of our better judgement...reason, honesty and love. The only demons we must fear inside every human mind are ignorance, hatred, greed and faith which is surely the Devils masterpiece.

About #3. We are the only industrialized nation that has a healthcare system for profit. If pro life is to be than surely the right to have health protection should also be. However, when we have elected officials that push for profits as was the case when it was ruled that Medicare would have to pay "retail" for drugs, that in itself shows how mindful they are in working for the welfare of the people. Clearly it must be possible to live ethically with a genuine concern for the happiness of others.

You need to keep watching Fox and live happily ever after. I am 78 years old and I remember how Reagan and the Bushes led us into recession. And we even had a 'house' that was in session at the time. Amnesia is a terrible illness but ignorance is self inflicted. I understand it might be hard to do but try to consume healthy and not just the "ice cream' that Fox news gives you.

You need to get out more often. You are so cemented in your belief that you discard anything that doesn't resonate with it. Who was the Republican campaign manager who said: I won't change my campaign strategy because of "facts", enough said. Turn up your mind and look at what your party is doing to the country. The only jobs left are what the Republicans left us after their money friends sent all the jobs across the pond. The Republicans are bent on taking us down the road whereby the majority of workers will not have job security to buy a car let alone a house. They want to take away: the minimum wage, unemployment insurance, pensions, v****g rights, health insurance, privatize Soc. Sec., reduce Medicare/Medicaid....they want to bring our democracy to its' knees so that the corporations (Oligarchs) can rule. Even the Republican working constituents would not want to live under that rule. How easy it is to cast the blame on the President when amnesia has erased the failings of your own party.

How easy it is to find fault when in a closed belief system. To gather up information that resonates with that belief. The Republican 'House' is the "WORST' and 430 filibusters to make sure the President take the blame. Pre e******n John Boehner kept on about jobs...after e******n he was on immigration, a******n and deficit reduction and the word jobs never past his lips. Why not look outside your position and try to look for the balance. But that might be too much to ask.

I am a realist. I don't believe for the sake of believing. I want to know that I am receiving true information. So many of us (most) have a closed belief system that they put a "Do Not Disturb" sign out when confronted with facts that do not resonate with their beliefs. I believe in the precepts of Jesus the Christ to care for the down trodden, weak and sick. Too bad the Republicans aligning with the "religious right" don't see it that way, trying to take from those in need and calling themselves Christian. Wisdom is not confined to a belief system. Wisdom is to be knowledgeable with good judgement and wise teachings. "Grandma has gone to heaven" as told to the young child. That is a lie because 'we don't know that' to be true. The 5 year old dying of cancer...the best prayer would be that we don't forget the reality and grieve for the death of the child not that Jesus had a better place for it. We need to teach the young the reality of death to grieve the loss.

The True Gospel....for over 1400 yrs. the books of the Bible were reproduced by scribes that added passages to fit the present day social structure. King James removed margin notations from the bible that John Calvin and staff placed to clarify the entries and he altered manuscripts to fit his position with his charge. The inerrant word....why did God not strike down those that changed His gospel? Mark 16-20 was not in the original manuscripts. King James was the son of 'Bloody' Mary Stewart...both of them created torture devices and it is written that the King favored young boys. Scribal error often arose simply from unintentional omissions or intentional words or lines. After Constantine made Christianity an official religion, scribes often added material to provide scriptural support for Christian doctrine. It should be clear that the original gospel and message will never be known and that what is in the present day Bible is a collection of t***hs and unt***hs passed down in the present day version.

Well I can surely understand his views understanding that he gets his info from Fox news. Let us disregard past presidents such as Reagan, and the 2 Bush presidents that brought us the recessions and also disregard the current 'house' led by the Republicans as it delivers nothing of importance giving them a title of a do nothing government. And let us not forget the constant coming from John Boehner before the e******ns of wanting JOBS as his main theme until after the e******ns and the word jobs has never left his lips. They changed their theme into immigration, a******n and deficit reduction. This remark about Pres. Obama being the worst president is do in part by listening to the only news that massages his own position....and proves how subjective he is.

If one believes in God than they might believe that He/She has decided to make their empires start a path to self destruct after 200 to 300 years as has been shown with previous empires.

My name is Don, I believe that the Ten Commandments was an inspired collection of laws for the period. For a God that has created everything it is a poor collection of laws to be inspired by. The first four are about the obedience to God, the next 5 are moral laws supposed to be unknown until now. In the animal kingdom morality has already been defined for millions of years. The lower class animals do not accept stealing, k*****g, lying, etc. And then there is number 10, what has that got to do with us today. For a God that has created billions of stars and planets is this the best He could come up with. And wanting to put the Commandments in a court house that houses politicians, attorneys and judges is plainly hypocritical.

Has anyone considered the fact that for over 1400 years, before the invention of the Gutenberg Press, that the books of the Bible were copied by scribes who were uneducated, educated, believers, and non-believers, etc. and others were used just because they could t***scribe. During this period there were many omissions, and additions made accidentally, and on purpose by these scribes. So in all this time can one say that this is the inerrant word of God? And why did God allow this? King James removed the marginal notes from the bible that John Calvin wrote to explain the verses. King James the son of 'bloody' Mary Stewart were both involved in creating torture devices. The Bible is ridden with an accumulation of omissions and additions.
