Do you agree with the decision to train Muslims to fight ISIS? Do you think the 500 million they plan to spend will be to our advantage; I doubted it at first, but after much consideration it just may be the smart thing to do? Just think, we are hiring k**ler Muslims to train other k**ler Muslims to k**l other k**ler Muslims. Why should we sacrifice our own military when we may have just created a Circle Firing Squad? Huck

A Majority of our citizens, rather republican or democrat; conservative or liberal, openly express a dislike that in some cases that border on hatred, for a segment of our society that makes up only eighteen percent of our population. There was a time in our nation’s history when the Irish, Jews and b****s and other minorities were openly assaulted in almost the same fashion.
Politicians of both parties, the main stream media, Hollywood and the liberal establishment take every opportunity to castigate, belittle and misrepresent this minority. Many of our less informed citizens, but also including many well educated but misguided friends, fall into this category as well and it forces me to ask the question, why?
Who are these American citizens that take so much abuse from all segments of our society as well as being criminally attack by their government? What have they done, or, what are they doing that deserves this level of scorn?
Maybe with just a little research we can find the answer!
1) They appear to be wealthier and better educated than the average citizen according a New York times/CBS News poll.
2) 18 percent of this group identify themselves as republican, white, male, married and older than 45; many belonging to the Greatest Generation.
3) They are more likely to classify themselves as angry at the direction our government is going.
4) Most consider the amount of taxes they pay as being fair.
5) Most sent their children to public schools.
6) A plurality does not think that Sarah Palin is qualified to be President.
7) They think that Social Security and Medicare are worth the cost, but should cut out the waste.
8) An overwhelming majority say that President Obama is taking the country in the wrong direction.
9) They are very angry about the health care overhaul, government spending and a feeling their not represented in Washington.
10) About 60 percent of this group thinks Americas best years are behind us when it comes to the availability of good jobs for American workers.
11) 92 percent of this group thinks Obama is moving the country towards socialism.
12) An overwhelming majority of this group believe in a much smaller government.
13) Overall this group considers their own financial situation as good or very good.
14) The greater portion of this group blames congress for the state of our economy.
15) They do not want a third party and most V**e Republican.
16) They hold a favorable opinion of President Bush by 57 percent.
17) Nearly 75 percent are for smaller government even if cutting spending on domestic programs are necessary.
18) Yale professor Dan Kahan informally reported his surprise that, statically, a sample of this group scored higher for science literacy than more liberal Americans and more than average for Republican Party supporters.
19) Most of them believe in the same values as Thomas Jefferson and our other founding fathers.
20) A large majority are attached or affiliated with a Christian church and attend services regularly.
No, these can’t be the reasons. These citizens represent exactly what our founders hoped for that would carry on and protect the Constitution they labored so hard for and in many cases sacrificed their lives. Obviously the answer lies elsewhere.
What? You figured it out? Yes, individuals that think this way and act as such are a threat to the ruling class in Washington, Republicans and Democrats alike. They are also a threat the Progressive/liberal socialist movement that has made so many social inroads during the past one-hundred years through judicial activism; never at the b****t box. The politicians in Washington know their cushy life style will change drastically if this group gets too much power and they must be stopped by wh**ever means necessary.
Yes! You’re right! They are the TEA PARTY!
